has there been an official HTC TYTN rom update yet
Nopes .. seen nothin official from HTC yet ... now that 8525 is out .. I am hoping something shows up pretty soon .. .

Hi Folks, sorry for the newbie type of question. I am planning to flash the Vodafone GER ROM (under HERMES SHIPPED ROM) to my HTC TyTn. As far as I understood, I can swap back to the original ROM, but where can I download the HTC TyTn GER ROM. I can only find HTC ENG ones. Could you please help. Thanks !

Hi, i also have the tytn original...
i have flashed a few days ago the german o2 rom... all works fine... only the extenderom is not editable... becaus of that you must disturb the automated install progress...
maybe anyone have a solution for that problem ???
all other works great... (also flashed the radio rom to act. 20 version...)
had often hangs with the phone... now not came to testing... often have to hardreset... (today because automated securityguidlines from my company.. see in other thread..)
upontime wenn a htc tytn orig. ger rom cames out i will flash back... hope that is aku3 then... much things be better... have seen it on the trinity...

Here you can read that a new firmware is avaible to htc s310, but where do i download. I tryed to register to the site but the IMEI in wrong when i reg. (Im sure that i write correct)

The update that you speak of is simply the release ROM for the Danish version of the S310.? HTC have not yet released a ROM update for the S310 and as such what you request does not exist.? Please keep an eye on the HTC website, as any ROM update that is released for the S310 would most likely be released there.

Has anyone tried it? I'm tempted to, but I've got an unlocked phone from HTC (not the Orange version) and am concerned about compatibility. Does anyone know if the Orange update will work properly with the HTC unlocked model? Or if HTC is planning to release their own update?

hi..thanks for the link to this orange rom..i've been looking to upgrade to 6.1
i can can confirm all went fine.
i have an unlocked htc orange 6500 that had been unlocked and all is still working fine.
(bizarely htc website said there rom upgade wasn't for my phone yet it was for clearly to upgade from 6.0-which i was-to 6.1-which i needed)

not sure what you mean.....there is a square orange logo in the middle of the screen as it "boots up"
after that its just wm 6.1...no branding or banners etc on screen at all
htc.com provide an update for the P6500 rom here :

but you need a valid serial number (direct htc , not and orange machine or else)

yes ttiittii that was the web address i was using to get a htc rom upgrade and like you my serial number was a HT820Gxxxxxxx
and it just says "not for you" rather annoying seeing as its a htc phone with just a tiny orange logo on the back.
but i have to say the 6.1 upgrade i got from orange is brilliant...stuff i use for work is loads faster and the bluetooth hands free is now problem free.
it just seems to be wm6.1...i can't find any "orange introduced" stuff on the pda at all...you know like o2 sticks o2 active on and crappy o2 logo's in the title bar that you can't seem to shift...thats nothing at all

I'm wondering where 2 get the original htc WM6.1 ROM
I'm getting sick of things not working like the video call for instance or the "usb storage device" funvtion.
I got an o2 xda and when I enter my serial number on the htc site it says "the software is not suitable for your phone" or something like that. Thats really annoying :-(

I have a HTC HD2 leo, bought from Cyprus without any contract. I think it is the T8585 version.. I am just wondering which is the latest version of the official HTC ROM? Could anyone provide a link?
I have searched the forum and i have found the official roms(1.48, 1.66 etc) but I have also seen in youtube about the 2.01 version. This is very confusing.
Also would it be wise to change from the Greek RUU_rom to a different one? Should I run the HSPL 2 or HSPL 3 first in order to update?
