Hello I am kind of new to this area. I just bought a new HTC X01HT from Softbank in Japan and would like to change the language to an English version Rom.. Is that Possible? and if so can you help me since I am a beginner at this..

I was just about to post the same thing.
It is a WM6 ROM from G-Smart model and based on a chinese WM5 ROM so it is a chinese ROM. Beta1 got problem on GPRS, cannot use GPRS. Fortunately, Beta2 already fixed the GPRS problem.
According to the forum, the guy may not willing to continue since the rom already finished and most of the problem solved. So hopefully some expert will take it and mod a english rom for user like us.
So what to do now, shall we request some other heros on this forum who have been doing it. I think its a rare thing and should not be let to go
You can give it a try but I doubt they will give any helps because it is too rare and not much user for it.

If you know anyone who can help us out, name it. I seriously hope that there are english WM6 for Stealth. Although I can read chinese but I just dont like to use chinese ROM.

Sorry dude. That forum is from china, people over there prefer chinese instead of english, it is their main language. I do hope someone can make a english rom out but I doubt it is from the forum. My only hope is expert from here...
I have an HTC Touch Pro with ROM version 1.90.409.6NOR ROM date 08/23/08 Radio 1.02.25.19 CEOS 5.2.19965 Build 19965.1.2.3 As you can see the ROM language is in Norwegian and I was hoping to change it to WWE version. Can anyone tell me how I can change the ROM language from Norwegian to English please. My first attempt on your forum so please excuse any faults. I did try posting in another thread without response. Can anyone give me some simple steps to follow, so I can change the ROM language.
it is not as simple as u think. u hv to make urself familiar with hardspl, flashing custom rom & cook custom rom. all resources u may need already in this forum. and ur post topic quite confusing. i thought u r releasing norwegian rom.
First flash HardSPL and then WWE ROM 1.90.405.1 which is available on this forum and in Wiki. After that you'll have English language with the same functionality as original NOR have.
Sorry to hang.tuah for the confusion, as I said I am new to the forum and did read other threads but still unsure of what to do to change the language. Thanks to qsqa for confirming the conclusion I had arrived at but was not sure. I have read the article by OliNex and will look for a thread for the WWE ROM 1.90.405.1

Successfully changed ROM language from Norsk to English, many, many thanks to hang.tuah, qsqa, OliNex, and football for their support and help through this forum. As a 70 year old and my first attempt at tampering with my mobile internals, I really do appreciate this site. Keep up this excellent work and I will be making regular visits from now on.

I bought my HTC HD2 from Dubai, it's English and it's serial number is understood for Asia region on official HTC support page. So, I can not download and install a ROM from other countries, such as Turkish.
I want to update my ROM from Turkish support page, in order to have Turkish language in my mobile. Is there any way to do this?
Do I need to flash my ROM and Radio first? How can I download and install a ROM from Turkish support page of HTC.

This is not possible with an official HTC Rom.
You will need to flash custom rom (first read all about it)
So there is no way for me to use Turkish ROM, that's Turkish Language on my HD2 ?
This is the second shock for me, after noticing that there is no front camera on HD2
yes you can flash turkish rom, but you need to use hspl first.
apply hspl
download the turkish rom from "leo official roms" thread in rom development section, first post first link.
flash the rom from usb.

first sorry for my english, but i`m from Germany.
My Question: Today i became a HTC Titan from AT&T America, without unlock, but with Branding and only english language.
Is there a way to flash a European Rom to this phone, to become other languages, like the German one?

I'm not sure about flashing a european rom, but there are other languages in the windows phone oem updates under developing and hacking. They come as cab files and you use a pc app they provide to install them. That's how i got my latest update, and i had to install the language files with it. Ask in that forum and i'm sure they will help you.
