Hi guys,
is there a way to save files on the SD card when transferred via bluetooth? Maybe a registry tweak?
Thanks
You need the programm MoBlue with this you can save directly to sd.

Seems a clever progrma but it doesn't work properly, when you try to edit the filters gives you an error...any clue?
here is a newer version of moBlue they work better

With the new version there are no more error messages while editing the filters but it doesn't work at all!
Hi everybody,
i'v got the most annoying issue..
couldnt find a solution anywhere..
I can't seem to be able to set the target folder for incoming bluetooth files.
no matter how i turn this around it doesnt seem to work, i'v added a folder on my SD called 'incoming files', went to the file transfer wizzard in the bluetooth settings and set the folder in the box, the two boxes below (save files to storage card when present; allow incoming file transfer connections) are ticked with V's.
now, when i send files to my hd2, they are still saved to the SD's root.. i'ts driving me crazy!
i'v tried unticking the "save files to storage card when present" box, i thought maybe if it is selected the files will defaultly go to the SD's root, but when this option is unticked the files get saved to the internal storage, altough the path to the SD is still selected above..
help anyone?..
i dont do much bluetoothing, so i havent tested this in many different scenarios, but i never adjust anything in the actual BT program when i flash.
I have a cab of tweaks for this sort of thing, and these two reg edits seem to do the job nicely. Not had it fail yet receiving from teh pc and the gfs n95.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WIDCOMM\BTConfig\Services\0002
InboxDirectory = \Storage Card\Incoming
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WIDCOMM\BTConfig\Services\0003
Root = \Storage Card\Incoming
TNX allot for the tip, i'll be sure to try this tonight and update

You can't send and receieve photos and music files between your phone and another phone or your phone and a computer? I'm assuming that you are on 2.1 since you said stock. Do you receive any errors or anything like that when you are attempting to do the transfer?
android is 2.4. it doesn't see others' devices, in the beginning it connects, but after some seconds it disconnects, do you have an idea, what should it be?
2.1 not 2.4
Greetings. This is my first post in a couple of years after having problems with my HTC Universal [XDA Exec]. Please be nice to me :]
Before I made this post, I've been searching endlessly...but all I see are solutions for the same problem on a different phone running XDAndroid. So I can't find a solution in regards to the Touch Pro2.
Anyway, I have a problem. When I go to settings and set a ringtone, it doesn't show anything but "Silent." I took the advice I read at a thread from the Diamond and full formatted my SD on FAT32 and put the things back and supposedly it should work.
I tried that and I still have the same problem.
Did I do something wrong? Or are ringtones not working on the TP2 yet?
Thank you for helping in advanced. :]
+1. I've had the same problem for a couple months. It used to work fine, then tried another build and it didn't anymore, and hasn't since. I've reformatted over and over with different card readers, windows and linux, different apps... nothing has worked.
If this would help find the solution quicker.
I'm running the latest FRX06 arrrghhh created with all the latest rootfs and kernels.
I read a thread that I should go to Settings > Dev Tools > Media Scanning but I can't find it there...I'm assuming since that thread was back in September, it was an old version of XDAndroid.

There should be dev tools in app drawer, but you can try to see if in media folder there are files with strange letters or symbols..
Can't find it in the app drawer. I'm going to assume that media scanning is not there because I didn't put my SIM card in it. Well, I can't really put my SIM card because this TP2 is still locked by T-Mo and I have AT&T...just waiting for unlock code so I can use it.
But I've been messing with the phone for a while that I've been putting apps and utilities in.
Again, could it be the fact that I don't have my SIM card in is the reason why Media Scanning is not even visible?

I'm not sure if this is why Media Scanning isn't visible, but might be why ringtones can't be set/chosen.
I have a Tilt2 (RHOD300) with a working SIM and ringtone selection works fine.
I have had the same problem.
These two seps solved the problem for me:
1. full format the sdcard with the hp-tool
2. search for sounds with the mediaplayer

I found Development.apk . Though I don't know if that's the same as Dev Tools.
@Entrophy: If you don't mind, will you boot to XDAndroid without SIM for me?
And from what I recall Media Scanner runs everytime you boot it, and it tells you at the notification bar. Can you also see if it will prompt Media Scanner w/o SIM?

Give me a few minutes then, please. :]
I'll simply edit this post for updates
EDIT:
So I got Dev Tools installed, and ran Media Scanner. One second later, it's done.
I go to my settings and its still showing just "Silent"
...or do I have to reset the phone and it will show up?
I don't mean to bump, but I just finished running Media Scanner, but it's still the same...

Media folder on the root? Yes, I do. But it only has one...and that's for Facebook.
I have the Media folder filled with all the ringtones and alarms inside the andboot folder..should I copy those and put it on the Media folder on the root?

oh,you have android in andboot..
could you try to move everything from root and delete rel_path=andboot from startup.txt
Does it make a difference? :O. I'm trying to just put the ringtones and all from Media folder inside andboot to the Media folder at root.
But if anything fails, I'll move everything to root and mess with startup.txt

i'm running out of ideas, and putting everything to root is the only one that went out of my brain
It's fine. Thanks for helping me up to this point .
Since I moved the stuff in the Media Folder already, I'll try backing it up, format the SD card again and put it back. I think it should work by then.
Thanks!

Use hp usb format tool
Formats really well
Without full formatting your sdcard with the hp-format tool, you will have no luck.
Copy your SDCard to the PC, format and copy it back, scan and enjoy.

TalkBox - how to get voice messages from iphone to pc
In order to copy voice messages created by talkbox app from your iOS device all you have to do is to gain access to your device file system with any free software (I used iExplorer ). acess your device and you will see at the root file system the directory User->Applications and there all you application data is stored - one of them is TalkBox (you will recognize it by enter every folder and check for the folder that finish with '.app' or see the icon of the application inside it). all the messages are in [talkbox-folder-id]->Documents->Audio at caf files (Core Audio Format). export it easily with your software to your pc. Cheers and Good Luck !

Hi
This all sounds really good as i have a deceased friend and wanting desperately to switch / access / back up talk box voice messages between my devices.
All was stored on my samsung galaxy s3 and now i have an s5 things are proving a little tricky so could you please brake down these instructions for me so i can successfully access them from the root.
I can access them in the device but only in the .ilbc format..
Thanks in advance
