Do I have to sim unlock every time? - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam Software Upgradin

Do I have to sim unlock every time I change the rom on my 8525? or is once enough?
Thanks,
Jake

Once is enough.
Just as flashing a ROM will not unlock your phone, it will not SIM lock it either.

[Q] Does having SPL and a flashed rom (miri's rom) mean my phone is unlocked aswell?

Just wondering if this means that my HD2 is unlocked. Also, is there anyway to check to see if it is without trying another sim card? Thanks
SPL & a Custom ROM will not SIM unlock your phone...if you bought the phone from from the carrier call them to get the unlock code or buy one online if you need SIM unlock.

[Q] Difference Between Unlocked and SIM Unlock

Hi,
I have a noob question. When you unlock bootloader, that's mean is SIM Unlock or it's completly different ? I know SIM unlock is to go with any phone company.
Thank you.
Completely different things. With the bootloader unlocked, you're able to install custom kernels, but the SIM Lock will remains (if you have it).

[Q] SIM unlock help

At some point in the past I setup an unlock code for my SIM card using ThunderShed (CM 7.2). I know the code, I have to enter it every time I reboot the phone (or come out of airplane mode). The situation is, the unlock code only works with the ThunderShed ROM. That sounds as weird to me as it does to you. Any other ROM I flash will not accept my unlock code. Even weirder, there is no option to remove the SIM unlock code in the Settings. "Location and security" is where it should be, but it isn't. So I cannot flash any other ROM w/o removing the SIM unlock code, and I cannot remove the SIM unlock code with my current ROM.
Any suggestions would be most welcome!

[Q] SIM Unlock on Custom ROM

I got a SIM unlock code from Tmobile, however it is not working with CM10, so I went back to the RUU and tried and it still didnt work. Any ideas of what I need to do?
contact the person you got the unlock code from to re-enter the code.. or you can always s-off your device and use the unlock sim for s-off method which would disable the sim lock on your phone

Bootloader locked & SIM network unlock PIN

Hey guys,
Got a second hand Z5C a few days ago and I want to flash a lighter OS on it. It currently has 32.4.A.1.54 from Vodafone and it takes about 1.3 gb of ram.
The problem is that i have „Bootloader unlock allowed: no“ message. How can I flash something like LineageOS or any other zip format images through Flashtool and without TWRP?
Also, I would like to be able to use a Orange sim card. Is there any other way to unlock my phone without the network unlock pin?
Thanks in advance.
Sorry i'm a noob...
