Dear TyTN/Hermes owners
I've just uploaded the PTG (Portuguese) ROM that came with my device.
The instructions I followed can be found in the Wiki: How to dump ROM.
Check the Wiki page for available Dumped ROM's and more information about the ROM.
You can, in alternative, download it here.
Cheers

Same thing here, I have a htc tytn with the portuguese rom (bought to TMN)! And I have some problems in my wireless connection when I connect to a wireless network that requires a certificate! ...... without the portuguese rom we are stuck.. because If anything goes wrong in the upgrade process we don't have any manner to downgrade to the original rom.. and by the way we loose the guarantee..
HI all,

Hello Guys!
I have a JAMin G4 that a marketing company gave me for a daily survey.
It's software branded by WIND (an italian mobile provider). I'd really love to flash it with a WM6 ROM but I didnt do that because I'm afraid I won't be able to restore it as it was when they gave it to me.
So...
Is there a way to back-up my original WM5 rom, flash the WM6 and, when it will come the time to give back the Jamin to the owner, flash back my original WM5?
I've tried to find the answer with the "Search" but nothing came up...
Can you help me?
Thanks in advance,
Bodhi3
Nobody can help me?
The wiki has the answer (as usual)

with this file you can restre your t-mobile logo,s

Well flashing back cann be very usefull when you need to bring back your device so that there is still warrenty on it on the other hand it is the only dutch rom available at the moment hope somebody makes a rom like tom,s one in dutch or maybe you bram can translate your good working rom for this device in to dutch maybe you can use this rom as a base for it anyway i sure had a reason to flash back, cheers

But isn't so that after using harspl your warranty is void? Since you have to use hardspl for this rom you can't use it to retain your warranty.
yes it can, the original spl in the spl thread is also the one t-mobile uses!
Yes id like to flash back because i like the t-mo rom(finally a good one!!)
Ill try to make an dutch version of the surface rom shortly!!
gr. bram
So which one is the original spl then? sspl v1.16?
original t-mobile
sspl : 1.16
rom 1.35
radio: 1.58.16.27
protocol:25.61.30.03h
guess the CID is 111111 for t-mobile this is what i saw in the roms there are for t-mobile
the model name for mda touch plus is niki200 (for htc this is niki100)
boot and splash screen both t-mobile see attachment in the first post
Bram i am looking forward for a dutch surface rom,
cheers
sorry as this has been discussed on forum but i have had dumped my old rom wm5 from my new gene..and i want to downgrade to it from sumit pro user rom...plz tell me if any danger and how can i do it>help
no one have time to reply me?plz expert help this poor guy....
Even though you have dumped this ROM urself, check the ROM with HTC RIE that it doesn't have the IPL, SPL and GSM parts. If any of these present, delete them and save the ROM. This will make the ROM safe for flashing.
BUt there is one more concern. I dont know whether the Orefkov or Olipro's SPL allows WM 5 flashing. Thats something you'll have to find out from someone else.
