Hey guys, I've been looking around for some roms that I can flash to a buddy's g4 device but it seems that you have to use the rapid share downloader. Well, a couple things turn me off using that:
1. Its not free to get quick downloads
2. If you use the free version, takes like an hour to get the download to start
3. I use a proxy at work therefore the download will never actually get to my pc.
So, I will host any roms, tools (shelltools), etc for free. All I ask is a direct dl link so I can dl then upload to my server for hosting.
Can anyone help me?

Hey guys, for the life of me, I can't find that wonderful software that allows you to install apps without connecting the phone to the computer?
It's something to do with hosting it via cloud and then connecting with it wirelessly to download and install?
dropbox.........
dropbox, appbrain, awesome drop...
appbrain is very cool if you use their site to browse the market. You can click on the apps in your browser (pc) and then have them automatically install on your phone.
Thanks guys!
Hey man, if you do go with dropbox (amazing), I have a referral link in my sticky thread (general section) that would give us each an additional 250MBs.
I used your referral link. Quick question on dropbox, is there a way to upload an entire folder on the phone instead of 1 file at a time?
I just got a g-tab. Its great!
My problem is when I try and download an app, my g-tab is not recognized. The site sees my phone and another tablet I have, but not the g-tab.
I tried to download Google maps, and it says its already installed. It is installed on my cell phone, but not on the g-tab. Same story with other apps. It askes which device I want to download too, but the g-tab is not one of the choices.
The g-tab is as it came out of the box.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks...
A stock gtab doesn't have google market access. I think viewsonic includes a useless "market" app. Your best bet is to use the Amazon marketplace, which can be side loaded.
I didn't spend any time on stock, but I'm certain there is a marketplace hack around here somewhere.
Also any of the available alternate roms will have market access (with the standard market fix).
Go to my site how to section. Link in my signature.
Still Lost

I started at your website about 9:00am. Its now 5:00pm. I got the bluetooth antenna to work, but am unable to get the copilot software to work. I download it for free, but get error messages.
I went back to your website, but am unable to "link in my signature." Sorry, I do not know what that means.
Is it possible to use my cell phone to download it to a sd card. Put the sd card in the gtab and install it that way?
Thanks...
(1) On my website in the How-To page there's a section that tells you how to use the gps.
(2) Co-pilot is not a free app. You have to buy it. You downloaded an illegal version, which gives you errors.
(3) Everything you need to know and to download for turning the gtab into a 10 inch gps is on that How-To page.
(4) Link to my website is in my signature. But just in case, here it is.
(5) There's also instructions to do market fix on the How-To page. The menu in the How-To page to find the various how-to's are on the right hand side.

I have 2 browsers installed the default and Firefox 6.0Beta, (I also have tTorrent installed for fun, maybe I'll use it some day) I have been trying to use both of them to download a torrent file, which I will then upload to a separate server via a web UI. Now I've failed with both browsers.
First neither of them like to down a torrent, they either want to open it in tTorrent (even though it is not set as the default Application for anything), or else they do not want to do anything when I click on the Download button (which work in a desktop browser), if I download them by long holding and selecting download link then I get a torrent file in downloads, but I can not upload this file to the remote server, as again neither browser wants to do that I select it and click on upload in the browser and nothing happens.
One of the major things I wanted to do with the phone was be able to select a torrent download it and then upload it to a remote server for processing. This process worked on an old WM phone, which is what has me stumped.
The remote download site can be any say ubuntu (which is what I was using as a test earlier, the upload site is running torrentflux-b4rt and it works from Chrome and FF on the Desktop. Lastly how can I change the default location of Downloads and only downloads to an external SD card? I know I can change everything, but all I want to change is the Downloads folder.
Thanks,
ERIC

I'm trying to find a legitimate place to download a Lollipop rom for my ZTE Speed. However, every place I find asks to fill out a survey to download. I did try one but even at the end the download never started.
Is there a place to find the rom that doesn't require a survey?
