Can't find a forum on this topic, if anyone can link one please do....
I succesfully swapped the housing on my rather ugly Vario ii for that of a broken SPV M3100 with no problems whatsoever . However, this housing has a number of scuffs and bumps. I'd like to get a brand new housing but I just can't find one anywhere. Maybe I just haven't looked hard enough but can ANYONE lead me in the right direction?
I would be very grateful

That link doesn't seem to work. I was thinking of going down the avenue of getting a dummy phone, so long as the housing itself is the same and it isnt glued together

can that housing be used on any tytn? I have a UK t-mobile vario 2, and the keypad looks different etc. and it has that red surronud on the keyboard. Would be interesting in replacing all of that if possible.
Also, any places that sell them in the uk, or can order from uk?

You'll be able to replace everything apart from the faceplate (the TyTn has a groove for videocalling button and doesn't come with the corresponding d-pad and circuitry to make it work with the Vario 2). because the SPV M3100 and Vario 2 are very similar I was able to change everything - though I decided to keep the d-pad from my vario as I preferred it. a replacement fascia will also leave you with the original amber keyboard backlight from the vario ii but this could look quite snazzy. basically you'll have a grey and black handset: steel grey faceplate, corresponding keyboard with amber backlight and a black back with a smooth (as opposed to ridged) finish.

I was wondering if anyone has one or if they have seen/heard one. My girlfriend wants a USB cradle for her Wizard and as it is only £4 more than just a cradle I thought "why not?". What I am interested in is the speaker quality for listening to music arround the house (away from the gooooood speakers). I don't think it would be a waste of money either way as it is still a cradle even if the speakers are absolute cricket droppings.
If I do get one I'll post an update, it looks likely though.
I've been looking to get my hands on something like that as well. Only places I've seen it so far have been outside of the US. If someone ever carries it in the US, I'm going to be all over it.. Would make for a nice radio replacement at my desk..
Expansys opperates in the US under the name of Mobileplanet, I've not had any issues with them in the UK and all orders have been prompt and problem free.

If you have some polycement (melts and re-sets plastics) you could remould the dock section to fit, it is only slightly different shape. You'd need some setting putty to make a cast of the bottom of the Wiza100 then you case the cast to get a wiza100 shaped lower part. you place polycement in the regions that don't match (may require some dissasembly of the cradle) and gently push to change the shape... Would probably make a mess so nvm... LOL

Yeah , it looks good , but there's one that looks even better and fits the cingular 8125 !!! But $ 40 is a bit too much to spend on something that'll not work on it's own , well .........

I finally found a case that covers the phone and you can still use the keyboard without removal. I never seen this case before and ran across it on ebay HERE.
I just order the smoke colored one I will let you know how it is when it comes in! I will use it without the clip and just throw it in my pocket.
make a picture how the wizard looks in it when you get it! look good but I wonder how much it adds to the depth of the device.
here some pics they not that great but they will do. the case doesnt add much to the overall size. fits well too.

blah thats what i thought. I don't understand why you can't just make a jell case that covers both pieces seperately! HOW FRICKEN HARD WOULD THAT BE!?!?! Honestly! It is so frustrating. I wish I knew how to make jell cases like that and I would do it myself and make a mint selling them on eBay.

Wow this is exactly what I was looking for! Only is it tough? I am using the Aluminium one and believe me it has really protected the phone from some nasty drops. Though makes it bulky.

Great case (I have one) although it doesnt cover much of the front of the phone ie front edges or buttons when lying face down on a surface and the camera/mic area is also exposed when lying down on a surface - otherwise excellent case.
Oh yea the right hand side of mine pops off and the case moves slightly back and forth over the phone causing scratches - the movement is solved with sticky tape between the back of the phone and the inside of the case.
I have incidentally since bought a Krusell case which is far far superior in many ways (see post) but does increase the size of the phone a lot more than this slim fitting profile Imak case.
P.S - dust/dirt getting between the back of the phone and the case can cause a sandpaper scratching effect between the hard surfaces and I used some sticky tape to stop the slight movement as the case moved over the phone to also stop the scratching (and the movement).

Bet it is simple plastic, thow I bet it has a little more grip wrt the original due to matte finishing..

I emailed eoem.cc about the speaker grill two times but they didn't return. I don't think this is a company that focus on end-buyers but bulk buyers.
That's a shame. I'd love a cover that wasn't as slick as stock.

Have you tried that on a cover? I wonder how it'd come out, namely if it'd still stay flush against the camera, how it'd turn out even if you taped the speaker grill, how much thickness it'd add (too much to be used on a dock?), etc.
Sounds like a pet project when getting the battery case or just using a TPU and removing/replacing it would do.
Why is the upper right corner of the front protector cut off? To not cover the Nokia logo? I just dont see the point.

That pic does not represent what the actual zag looks like. I have the maximum body protector and it fits very well. I'll try to take a pic and post but I have no complaints on how the zagg is designed.
More likely there is a fold top right, but there's not enough detail to see it.
Here's the corner that you questioned. It's not cutoff like your pic illustrated. Zagg is holding up great so far.
Thanks for the replies guys. Bought Zaggs for front+back, and a kit from Martin Fields aswell to protect entire camera section on the back. Worried though as my Lumia 920 is White and apparently, Zaggs on White phones gets a blue tint from being in pockets (blue jeans) and in general wont appear "as white" as if its not on.

Put it on front and bought this for the back. But right now im replacing my phone (see this thread) so thats a nice waste of money, heh. Did however just get my martin fields, so that means I'll have a new screen protector plus protection for metallic Nokia logo+lens.
