I am desperately looking for a shipped spanish ROM for HERMES.
Seams that this ROM is not yet available.
So, I ask to anyone who likes to help to put the OS part of the spanish dumped ROM existing in FTP ready to flash in my device. Is that possible?

There is a spanish WM6 rom from micorX, I tested it and works fine, but I went back as I prefere to have an english OS.

I've just uploaded the PTG (Portuguese) ROM that came with my device.
The instructions I followed can be found in the Wiki: How to dump ROM.

It is NOT POSSIBLE to flash or replace the ROM on your device with a dumped rom. At the moment there is no portuguese ROM available.

Same thing here, I have a htc tytn with the portuguese rom (bought to TMN)! And I have some problems in my wireless connection when I connect to a wireless network that requires a certificate! ...... without the portuguese rom we are stuck.. because If anything goes wrong in the upgrade process we don't have any manner to downgrade to the original rom.. and by the way we loose the guarantee..

You are right, there is no 6.1 rom in german. I looked for it too, but nothing...
I'm also interested in a german 6.1 rom for the Strtrk.
Probably we have to wait until the first wm6.1 smartphones with german rom hit the market.
infact you don't have to. There is some sort of SDK provided by MS where you simply can take the language files from. An easier option might be to take all files from that ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=383587 and subsequently replace the English files in our PRO ROM with the GERMAN ones.
In any case its a bit work to get to know how to dump a ROM etc. But if you really need a German ROM i guess you have create one by your own since the majority of Germans around using English versions.

These files are not working with Windows Mobile 6.1 Smartphone Edition. The Screenshots showing Windows Mobile 6.1 PocketPC Edition. You could use them only if you have Erofich's Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro ROM. But as i use Windows Mobile Pro on my StrTrk and i am looking for german languages too, i will try it.
And do not flash this ROM on your StrTrk because this is a ROM for HTC Wizard. You must open it with htcRE and extract the *.0407.mui files, copy it to you phone and sets some registry keys to enable it. Or you have to rename the files to *.0409.mui and copy it to your phone.
But, i can't guarantee if this works...

Maybe it isn't necessary to dump it because it is possibly on the software cd or avalible for download for owners with a serial number.

Sorry, it is not. You need to wait until cooked versions get on the forum. But for this we need our spl solution. Please go to General section and find thread asking for subsection for X7510 and place your vote for it. Without it OliNex group wan't start their work on Hard/Soft SPL solution.

Then you need rom for x7500, not for x7510. These are plenty to choose from, also german version have sean somware. Go to the link which list all roms for Athena. I have sean there links to german roms as well.

Thats true. There is no original german 6.1 rom not even english WWE version. I told you already. They do not exist as files available because nither HTC nor any other party has released it. It was only in X7510 devices.
Some devs here like Pawel has dumped it from X7510 (but WWE version) and then used for their work. But that means their roms were already cooked. You can not dump rom from one machine and then load it to another one, cose after dumping you get a bunch of files wich you have to put togather, cooke a rom. This means you need to have unlock you CID at least or if you have a t-mobile ameo, then sim unlock as well.
So those german cooked versions are the only available, according to my knowledge.

You can try Sogarth's Hypercore kitchen. It is more user friendly.

Kitchen is one thing, ingredients are the other. You can use Sogatrhs kitchen and put german dumped rom in it and then cooke it according to your needs.
Howewer, I think there is already cooked german rom made out of mixture of wwe6.1 and some german version.
Yes I know that I could use the rom kitchen for flashing a german dumped rom but this is exactly what I'm asking for.
Please post the link if you know a german dump.

I do not think there is one. Never heard of.
But you can take the German rom ready cooked by somebody else (there is one as you know) and dissemble it in Sogarth's Kitchen. Then you can take what you want from it and put into Sogarth's base, changing in this way all files necessary for German language, for example. You would make some changes in XIP and regs as well to change the language.
Or the other way, taking some files from Sogarth's base into your German base taken from this German cooked rom.
Of course to do it right, you must know what you are doing, but it is the same as cooking rom for x7500 out of x7510, which is different machine and has different drivers.
However I have never sow any post from anybody saing that he has German X7510 version, so rather no chance for dumped German rom from this device. I actualy doubt if HTC has ever released German version. The same about T-Mobile, but I could be wrong.
Hey Folks,
I cooked a rom of JC's Fire v12 Rom and dumped German HTC Stock Rom.
Used is for some hours now and noticed no bugs.
There is no extra software installed, in the next days i will upload the dumped stock Rom for the chefs arround here.
Uploading has begun and is finished in approx. 20 minutes.
Remember to have HardSPL installed and do a Hard Reset after flashing.
In the next days i release another Rom in German and English.
Upload complete.

There are no tweaks or software i inserted.
In the next days i will cook a real selfmade rom with tweaks, progs and so on.

sorry for my stupid question but i am a newby.
I have my HTC Touch Pro since yesterday. I think the HTC release is very buggy. My device freeze and sometimes crash. I had to remove the battery twice.

GPS gets no fix
Maybe anybody may help me:
I have installed that german rom this thread is belonging and also the RadioRom ver. 1.02.25.31.
Now the device is working fast so far and even better than with the orignal roms and radio but i could not use gps because the program igo and visualgps cant catch any sattlite although there are more than 10 in the view.
Does anybody figured out same problems? maybe its depending on the radio mybe on the rom or even to both.
