iMate JasJam on Three (Aus) - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam Software Upgradin

Hey all,
I have just purchased an iMate JasJam from Telstra (was a cheap display model) and i have signed up to three mobile. I want to access planet three and do everything as if i had brought the phone on three.
Can i just install the Dopod 838 Pro ROM?
Can someone post a link to a Dopod ROM? as im not allowed into the dopod website due to me not actually owning a dopod!
Any help greatly appreciated!

To use planet 3 all you have to do is type three.net.au in ie.
before you can do that you will need the settings for 3services, 3mms and or 3netaccess configured. There is a tool that does it on wm6. link is below, you can try it for your WM5 rom. The dopod rom will only serve you to remove any telstra programs. If the cab program below doesnt work there is a thread which has the settings for you to enter manually.
*edit* the cab file has been removed from the thread (first one below) you will have to check back again to get it.

Dopod ROM for 3 Aus
Dopod have released a ROM update specifically for 3 in AU on 2007/03/28.
The version number is: v1.30.707.8 and it states as follows:
838Pro (WM5) ROM code for Hutchison ‘3’ network - version 1.30.707.8 This ROM code will allow you to fully utilize the Planet 3 services.
As i'm not on 3 (using Black 2.0 WM6 using Vodafone AU here) i havent actually downloaded it for myself and from the look of it, its not even mentioned on the Wiki so i cant tell you exactly whats different from the generic AU ROM v1.30.707.4 released on 2006/12/01.
If you cant find it anywhere else, maybe I could download it and get it to you somehow!

Hey mate,
Yeah, i cant log into the dopod site as i have an imate so it doesnt accept the serial number. If you could download it and post it on a filesharing site or something, that would be awesome. I know they are fairly big so i assume that writes email out (i have space, im on gmail)
Also, is WM6 good? where do i upgrade?

EDIT2: I have updated the Wiki with this ROM info. As i haven't installed it, i can't confirm the exact radio, bootloader etc versions however i believe its just minor changes from the previous release so have left most of the versions the same. http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_Upgrades
As for upgrading, before you do anything i would read, read and read as much of the XDA Wiki as you can. If you havent flashed any ROM's on your JasJam before you will need to do this before uprading to the Dopod ROM as your JasJam will most likely still be locked down to i-mate ROM's only and the Wiki explains exactly what you need to do.

I already have the ExtROM but I couldn't find the network wizard cab file.
Can anybody upload the NetWiz.cab from 838Pro (WM5) ROM code for Hutchison ‘3’ Australia Network - version 1.30.707.8?

These settings are pretty hard to find. I think it's all I've done all night.

Amongst the attachments on that thread is a "CWW Enterprises AUS Operator Con.cab"
This program has configuration settings for the Australian carriers, including "Three".
I've just run it and it's created 3mms, 3services & 3netaccess, but I'm still having troubles with email. I'll be leaving it to another day now.
If you can get it all working, please tell me how

User Agent String From 1.30.707.8 PIE
Hi can anybody on 3AU with the latest firmware from Dopod; 1.30.707.8, go to this web site; "www.useragentstring.com" with pocket IE and post the results from "your user agent string box" your help would be greatly appreciated
Since Dopod838 is now officially supported on X series and Planet 3, im trying to get Black 3.5 working with it completely.
