Ok so I have a Motorola H3 headset and am trying to use it with my X01HT. I have it paired up and it brings it up as a hands free device. I have LSVW WM6(4/08) w/ new A2DP driver. Ok anyways, I could listen to music on the headset when it was paired with my Compaq H6315 yet it won't work with the X01HT. Does anyone know of a possible fix?
I have the same question that is X01HT support A2DP profile? I am preparing to buy a headset.
Well the thing is, if I push the button on my headset it opens the voice shortcut program, and if I have WMP in the background playing a song it will switch from speaker to headset for about 2 seconds and then go back to the speaker. This tells me it should be able to stream music to the headset.

Does anyone know of a adapter I can use to connect my 8525 to my car cassette player to play some mp3s?
Casette adapter
I'm using regular (wired) casete adapter which I got from RadioShack and connect it to R35 which in its turn is paired with TyTN. By this I can listen mp3 stored in mн PDA as well as on-line radio through car speakers. I should note that quality is much better than I expected, better tha regular radio (not HD )
Wonderful news thanks..
I installed the Sony MEX-BT5000. Its able to stream audio from the tytn via BT. Very nice, it connects automatically when I start the engine. I also use it as my handsfree for calls. At first, callers said they couldnt hear me loudly, so I flipped down the faceplate during calls and now calls are good. This is because the mic is behind the faceplate.
Just thought I'd throw it out there...another option to connect the tytn wirelessly.

This is wonderful news because I was just looking into some bt radios..
Do you have a BT headset? I'm curious if I can still use my headset while in the car and just do the audio part..
I do have a BT headset, but I found that the combination doesnt work well. I tried to split the audio streaming to the headunit, and then the handsfree to the headset, but the results were unreliable at best.
I've found that the headunit mic is good enough quality to speak through, as long as you flip down the faceplate. If you dont want to use the handsfree, you can use the audio only and regular Tytn phone. The BT connections are separated by Sony.
Interestingly enough, I was able to internet radio stream via BT to the headunit, and run Tomtom navigator 5 BT GPS unit at the same time. The music volume was decreased and the directions came over the music.
I guess I could just turn off my headset while in the car. I assume it will mute the radio when calls come through..
So you don't get any skipping or anything while playing mp3s?
Do you store your mp3s on a storage card?
Mp3s stored on storage card and internet radio streaming doesnt skip connected via bluetooth.
What is a R35? Is it a BT radio reciever of some sort?
Hi!
Yesterday I went through the upgrade of the official Dutch HTC Europe WM6 release. No problems there and WM6 works a charm.
The problem came to the light when I paired my Motorola HT820 A2DP headset. The music in the Windows Media Player plays well through A2DP, but only for a few seconds. After that it starts pausing every second. The same goes for all types of audio I play (video, TCPMP, etc).
Who can help? There was no problem using WM5 and a previous WM6 ROM (unofficial and WWE).
Thanks!!
Sounds like your sampling rates are off. Check this thread for info:

Search on Priority256_fix. That seems to be the final piece of the puzzle to fix the blue tooth problem.

Or search on Bluetooth Priority Fix.
Thanks for the tips.
Ofcourse there will be always another problem: my Motorola A2DP headset now fails to autoconnect (after being paired) to the X7500. Normally when I turn on the headset you will see a headphone/musictone icon in the top bar and hear the "connect sound" through the headset. This doesn't happen now. I need to soft reset first, and after that it will work again, for a few times.
Deleting the headset and pairing again works, but the autoconnecting stops working when I try again later.
Damn, what is it with the official WM6 and A2DP?

Hi, I still experience lags and pauses while using A2DP. With the registry tweak Priority256 it even gets a lot worse!!
Any more suggestions? I tried several headsets and even the Parrot Sound speaker set, but all of them are the same. So it's not the headset.
EDIT: I figured that it has something to do with the normal Bluetooth headset I use. I want to use the A2DP stereo headset simultaneously with the normal headset for phone calls. The A2DP headset only uses "Stereo audio" when connected, while the normal headset uses "Headset". This was no problem at all with all other devices I had and no problem as well on the X7500 running WM5. With WM6 things are different I guess.
A2DP WITHOUT the normal headset connected is no problem, like it should work. WITH the voice headset connected simultaneously, the lags come up, the prioriry fix makes no difference in this matter. And I'm stubborn, I want to have the voice headset to be connected at all times, the A2DP headset when I want to listen to music.
Any thoughts?
I'm hoping for a little clarification. As the title says, I'm using a Blueant Z9 headset (with A2DP) and it won't send music over the headset. The only way I can get it to work is with BTAudioToggle. Even then, if I get a call, it won't reconnect when the call ends to continue to play music. The headset pairs under bluetooth settings as "hands free".
Is there a way to get this to work yet, or is this still the only way to use music over a headset? I was under the impression that if the headset has A2DP, it should play the music and pair as "wireless stereo". I recently tried a Jabra BT8010, and that worked seamlessly, however, the size and fit didn't work for me.
No A2DP
The Z9 doesnt support A2DP so that would be why you are having the problems

James
James, thanks for the reply - I'm really not usually that dumb ...Don't know where I came across the info that made me think it did.
From what I can tell, A2DP is just a software protocol, correct? In other words, if Blueant chose to add this to a future firmware upgrade, could they do it, or does the hardware have to support it also?
Go to handango and down load Bluetooth music. I have the Blue Ant and it works fime
Try this freeware app A2DPToggle made by the same maker of bluetooth music before you pay for it.. might help..

Hello everyone,
I was using a O2 Zinc on WM6 platform before the current Nike. With Zinc, i was able to listen to mp3 songs played to my SE HBH610 one-sided headset but not now on Nike. I noticed though that the Bluetooth stack on these 2 sets are different while on Zinc, you have an option to "Enable Audio". Anyone, can help? Thank you in advance.
Alano
what settings you have try?
There is nothing much to try. Just either to delete this headset or set it as "handsfree".
There should also a option for bluetooth audio if the phone recognize a2dp on a headset.
my car-hifi has handsfee and bluetooth audio and i can check both.
A2DP for music works like a charm for me...
i dunno about the settings my bluetooth headset when activated automaticly takes over from the phone speaker when im using media programs, though not with all programs. im using an Jabra bt3030 headset myself.
There doesn't seem to be an option perse for A2DP, anyone got an idea?
I have managed to downloaded a 3-party software that allows me to hear on the same headset audio. This show that there is nothing wrong with the capability of the headset but the software of the bluetooth in Nike. As far as I remember, on WM6 of Zinc, it is using Broadcom BT stack. Anyone has ideas where to get this to replace the MS stack on Nike?
Weird - I recently bought a SE HBH-DS220 headset and it works fine together with both Windows Media player and the inbuilt HTC media player.
Nike is A2DP compatible as said in the phone documentation. I use to listen music wirth my motorola S9. When I pair the S9, audio is automatiquely routed to it.
I have a motorola S9 stereo Bt too and everything works fine, even games and tcmcp work without problems.
I use this Blue Tooth Headset. Reason ... no other Product use 24bit D/A Converter! Not much Headset, can match with this product!!! and ... i am a fan of old designes ... if you have a sunglasses ... you look like the first Napster Logo LLOOOLL

The S9s are a great set, but don't ever go running/cycling or get sweaty with them - they totally fail - which is seriously lousy for something thats "designed" for such usage.
I use the Motorola SoundPilot S705, which i brilliant.
I have an outtake for 3,5 mm. jack, and FM radio. When I turn the SoundPilot on, it immediately paires up with my phone.

Hi All,
I've got a question. Can MP3's be played tru a bluetooth headset. I don't mean a headset with a music profile but a simple handsfree (Motorola H300). I had a hack for my Nokia 6265i which allowed me to listen to audio books while hiking (Tree branches and headset cables don't mix well) Music quality was no good but books were great!
I'm using DCD 2.1, Radio 3.27 on a P4000. One day last week in my car it worked for like 10 sec after a call then stopped... Got me thinking...
Thanks
Chris
try a program called acbToggleBT, should be able to find it through google. Basically it acts like a button to send audio through bluetooth (not via a2dp). I use it to listen to howard stern through my jabra headset.
Thanks! I had trouble but i've got it now.
I'm an Idiot.....
