hi, where can i find the oficalial shipped t-mobile uk rom for my hermes ?
i tried to search with no luck so i though i would ask

You will be lucky too find it. T-Mobile UK haven't yet released the rom and the dumped file on here isn't available sorry!
I do still have a copy of the t-mobile dumped rom, I just need somewhere to put it for download.
Any suggestions? If you want it dropped on a private FTP or something, PM me.
Why not dump it for downloading on the XDA FTP so everyone can have access to it?

Okay, the rar file has been uploaded to the XDA ftp site, the file is in the Hermes folder and is called DumpedTMobileUKRom.rar.

Hi, following the thread above, I am unable to locate the relevent rom on the o2 server, it is not in the upload directory, or the himalaya directory....
Anyone know where i can get hold of it?

You can take one version that available and then edited for your purpose. Use ER2003Edit, it is the easiest way to edit. I hope it can solve your problem

But I have done succesfully to upgrade my O2, as well as change the language
Unfortunetly I do not have my original T-Mobile software/rom on my Hermes. Also I can not find it on the FTP. Could some please put their T-Mobile DUtch rom there?

but I think there is no T-Mobile Rom offered by T-Mobile.
I'm searching for a german rom myself.
I've dumped the rom of my device and that is possible with a dutch rom too, but unfortently you need a signed romimage to play it back to your device.At this time there is no way to do it.
I currently own two hermes' to keep me going. I've got one unlocked English version for my work in HK and one locked SB X01HT (post Dec version) for my travel to Japan. Almighty Askal had posted ★DCM_eChina Vol.2★ in Oct. 2006, but can not access anymore. I desperately need my Chinese font for my work in China. Does anyone have Askal's Chinese font cab for Japanese OS version, and knows any site where I can download. The file is 5MB.

I am not sure this is what you need.. but I think it is.... I donno, check it out... it was made my Asukal, it is Chinese fonts... but I donno if it is the exact one that you need. Crap, this isn't working, I will just email it too you!

Actually I was able to get in hold with Almightly Asukal yesterday via e-mail. He told me that I should be able to download at http://hn801.hkes.com/Data/Dark/DCM_Echina_2.zip by today, however, I can not access his site. Seems down for a long time. If you have downloaded the the aforementioned file before Asukal's sub-site was down, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Just wondering if anyone know if there is a cab for network wizard for Dopod 838 English ROM for Asia (HK). I just flash my softbank with wm6, but it doesn't have the network wizard. I manage to find one, but it is in Chinese.
Could someone points me to what I can get it?
Also, I notice some forum says I can extract cab from ROM.. try to search thru the post here but can't find much find. If I can't find it on the .net, maybe I can extract the cab myself. Could someone point to me this direction as well?

but make sure u install Dopod_Cert as well if u are using other than dopod branded hermes.

Dear All. I upgraded my t-mobile ameo now I want to go back to original state of t-mobile ameo uk Rom. I can't find origional shipped t-mobile UK ROM. can any of my friends here give any help in getting this ROM. Alo I do have copied origional extended Rom of t-mobile but I am unable to load it onto ameo Ext. Rom2 directory. I am only so far been able to view it and copy contents to another drive but so far unable to write or load contents on extended rom on my Ameo. I would be very greatful to those who can be of any help. Best regards.
look at the post a few lines up from yours. the official tmob wm6 release post. as on that page they also have the official tmob firmware 1.12 firmare available for download on the same page =)
