Hi everyone (especially ROM-cookers),
I'm a Dutch Computer Science student, and I like to program stuff (I know Java very well, a bit of C and some Assembly). Now I would like to make my own ROMs and share them with the rest of the world, only I dont know where to start and what programs to use... Anyone who can clear those things up for me a bit?

I got problem with my Jeyo.
I can connect and sync with my Vista and outlook 2007, but i can't connect to my Jeyo. Any solution???
If i flash to Fantastic Mobiz v1.1, My Jeyo is working fine.

assumed you are talking 'bout the dialpad...Intellipad is a keyboard substitute...

yes you can transfer files from your computer to your xda2 via its "stand"
you can use resco file explorer to send files via bluetooth.
you can use Windows Media 10 to play in landscape mode.
the "MAC type" scheme your refering to can be achieve through Wisbar Advance 2

Ok so i got a kitchen setup played with that a little so now how do i go about changing things like appearance i.e. iconz in the app drawer, notification bars, and stuff like that and update kernals, or update anything also how do i find out about writing scripts?

right now i dont have any experience in mobile development,
but i would like to learn it and will do everything i can do to learn it
my main focus is to build custom roms for the lumia 800 and yes i know that the phone needs to get interop unlocked .
But lets hope it will soon ...

i think you are half way there, we need to get our phones unlocked and then we can play. i think the wp7 phone is vgood solid device, but the lack of good apps is a let down at present. fingers crossed this will be resolved.

well the only coding i know is visual basic…
but im learning and will see if i can make some good apps for wp7
but as i said i will make custom rom first then when i get some ideas to make an app then i will get to Work on it …

oh and c# is a Little like VB so it wont be that hard to learn …
but i still dont know what to develop. When i get good at c# i will creat a new launcher for wp7, it will be a kind of mini Windows 8 launcher but more phone friendly so yea the launcher will have a landscape mode

nothing so far mate,i know of only apple and adroid have.will still be looking around to keep ppl updated if i find something useful

Well then is WhatsApp Inc. a very stupid company in my eyes..
We're talking about 50/60k ppl who gonna use W''App when its complicatable for 6.x Phones..
Anyway that really sucks.
I hope they will change their mind and will make an app for WM.

it´s possible to run whatsapp, it,s too easy.
first you must download the file from whatsapp .com for nokia n40 series, you must open with a desscompressor, open the meta.txt and supr the certificate s40 and run in a java virtual machine from windows mobile and, i cannot suceed you have to put your phone and your nationality and in theory (i don´t know how to say XD) should send a message to your mobile with a number and register with this number in whatsappfrom winmo, the problem is that (if anybody can do it) how you can add a contact.

i attached the whatsapp that i have modified and works good but not send the message it,s my problem xd
i give you the whatsapp modified, surely it´s wrong modificated, but not ask for certificates

First hi all, and thx for opening my Thread . I came to this forum becouse i cant find an app, that i need for the work..
Here is what im doing. There is an orphans children's village at my work place. I keep track of their health also, i drive them to hospitals, doctors, tests, teraphys and etc...
What i need is an app, for a tablet (i ill buy a tablet with android), in that app i need to have acces to days a week and so on. I need to keep track of what im doing there, also at what time did i go, where did i go, and i need to imput data at the current location if im at a dentist, i need to write that im at the dentis at specific time, and after he is finish, i need to input what did he do there to the child, and so on...
Also when i go in the app there need to be the names of all the children, like a list, easy acces.. When i click a name, there needs to be some sort of organizer with inputable groups, like the tipe of doctor and notes for keeping track of the time i spend that day, and where i was, on what rutes and other stuff...
My english is bad, and i apologize for that.. I hope u get the point what i need. If someone can help me with this, or know an good app that can do all this stuff, that would be great, and i would be thankfull =).
