Does anybody know how to make a program and display pictures and texts on the external screen of Startrek? Thanks a lot!
There are some dll's in the Windows folder that are related to the external screen, however, nobody has managed to change a great deal of things.
I think they did some hacking into this on www.spv-developers.com

the only thing out there seems to be infosharp. It's definitely not as easy to set up as smsnotify was for wm2003 but it'll get the job done for the most part.

What do you mean, make ? Is that as in creating your own, or is it just setting up the phone to use one you've already got ?
Anyway if it's creating your own, I can help you, I can convert any soundfile to wav or mp3...
Then put it on your device ( on storage card is has to be directly in the main directory ) and then choose it in Start/setting/sounds....

I think you can make a cab for yourself, and every time run that cab.
It's just some reg settings you have to take care off.
do you happen to know any good links to making a cab file?
I'm interested in giving it a go, but I could only find programs that created exe files with multi cabs within them, It would be better if I could simply have a cab file to launch with, that I can store on my PPC SD card.

So i have been trying a couple of different ROMs and i had at one time an english girl that would tell me I had mail. Does anyone know where she is? It should be either Hypercore or vp3G's latest. I like vp's better as it seems better suited for ATT but i do miss my girl telling me I have mail. Does anyone know where this clip is or where i can find ringers seperate from ROMs

I am starting to think more and more i should expand my software developement knowledge and get into cookin ROMs. I want to get an expandable folder tree in the start menu and if nothing else i know i would use these apps more than the ones i'm creating now, although AJAX has given me some highlights in my current experience. Guess I would have to give up video games though as all i see myself doing is creating applications for my phone
Can anyone please make this into cab format for my tilt2? I have this over in that sub-forum but no one is responding, it doesn't get visited half as much as over here. Its the best mod i've found to fully increase all speakers even bluetooth on the rhodium/tilt2 device! I have tested and used many but this set of reg edits works the best and loudest while still keeping the quality crystal clear! Can anyone please make these edits into a simple cab install please? Thank you.

What do we see is GIGANTIC cash flow in that business(and HTC as PDA killer, etc, etc).
And noone made freeware CABMaker so far here.
All i wanted to say...this place lost all its character, it is just another phone forum now, practically.

upd: you do not need cabs for this, imo, just make regs from these and use tc or taskmanager 3.x to import reg you need...until someone will make...cabs, or goddamn cabmaker.
upd2: before someone will ask: why i wont make cab for deeznuts instead of writing this:

This sounds like SPAM, but check out the excellent CE RegEditor -- it is a nice remote reg editor that lets you view/edit/import/export your phone's registry from your PC, AND it lets you convert REG files to CAB files. It should do the trick for you.

i can agree, ceregedit is a-must-have tool.
idd, reg to cab is available in that soft, interesting discovery, i forgot about that, sorry...
until it is just reg, it will do the job.

Which one is the .csv? Lol, sorry, dont know a thing about this stuff. I just copy the audiopara3 file in windows, overwrite, then import the other 3-4 reg files using the app posted above via my pc through usb. Just looking for a cab to do all this for less hassle of course. Appreciate your help here in making the cab. Where you able to get it all in there?

Hey guys I was editing my picture with a photo editior on the phone and when I saved it, it somewhat corrupted it which will not allow me to view it however the wallpaper,which I set it under, still shows the picture... is the picture stored in a cache ? is there a way how I can grab it from registry?

I don't know for sure if this will help but can you open the picture on your computer? Basically, copy the corrupted picture to your microSD and use an adapter that works and attempt to open the picture up on your computer.

I have the corrupted picture , but when I try to open it says it can not open it and its 0kb...I want to know if its like a computer, where sometimes I delete the wallpaper picture but still using it and for me to actually get it I have to go to the windows folder and find it to copy it.. however there isn't much in the windows on the windows mobile.

I'm not sure about this but I think PPCGeeks may have a louder CDMA RAPH fan base. Either that or there seems to be more talking in the newer device forums??? I usually hang out in the RAPH/Android forums when I am on here but occasionally I do browse the newer posts.
Not 100% as to where the actual picture is stored if that is the case. I imagine if this was a stock picture, you could get it back with a hard reset. Additionally, I wonder if the photo editor saves it somewhere?
Well first off I'm glad to see that I had saved it to my computer so I do have back up, but I'll continue my search to where it does save it to... once again thanks r^72. Most forums are talking about newer phones, android espically lol but yeah I post it up on ppcgeeks asweel and got a few info but waiting for tomorrow for more.
