Hi,
I have PDAViet 4.0.0.0.4. And it has the SMS received notification when I receive an SMS, which is normal.
I know that there are a lot of threads that talk about disabling the SMS Received notification and I already did that but then, when I receive SMS, not only that I dun get the SMS received notification but I also dun get any sound for it either.
I went to
HLCU/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Inbox/Settings and set SMSAvailable from 1 to 0.
Doing that will disable the SMS received notification as well as the notification sound for incoming SMS.
How do I disable the SMS received notification and still getting the sound for incoming SMS??
Not sure if this is WM6 or PDAViet bug?
Any comment is greatly appreciated.

Whenever I restart my Atrix, I receive a notification that I have 6 unread sms messages even though I have read all my sms messages. I am using Handcent.
Can anyone shed some light on why this is happening and if there is anything I can do to fix this annoyance?

May want to disable notifications and auto-retrieve in the native SMS app.

has anyone noticed on 2.2.2 that if you disable all incoming calls, the sms messages dont work....

It comes disabled by default to receive incoming calls.
You have to enable it to ring your phone over wifi.
I turned off that an option. In fact, I uninstalled Hangouts Dialer and it still rings.

I just updated to 5.0.1 (just received the G Watch yesterday), but I noticed that I don't receive notification when there is a Viber or an Hagouts call coming in.
I receive notification on Viber and Hangouts msg, as well Whatsapp and other.
Is it a bug?

When I receive an incoming call the last two activity (usually text messages) from the person calling show up as the call is coming in underneath their phone number, is there any way to turn that setting off? Thanks!
