Hi, i have 2 t-mobile Ameo's and one was upgraded to WM6, but i want to downgrade it back to WM5 (please no questions why), is it possible to backup the rom on my WM5 Ameo and flash it to the WM6 ameo? (the WM6 maeo is cid unlocked)

Do you still have that original unaltered Ameo? I would be very interested in the original ROM too.

I want to upgrade from I-mate 1.52 to t-mobile 1.60 rom
I’ve modified t-mobile extended rom (as told in a post here in the forum)
Now, if I lauche the upgrade to t-mobile 1.60 with this new extended rom, the ce rom and the radio rom will also upgrade without country code id error?

did you change the ms_.nbf of T-mobile with the one in I-mate? if yes upgrade it first with ms_.nbf then if you didn't have country ID error then the next update is T-mobile 1.60 RUU160060.exe

Can it be done? Also which ROM should i use? I prefer to wait for the official release from ATT/Cingular.
If you want an official Cingular/AT&T rom, well then you only have one choice, the rom that was purchased with your device.

I am using a 8525 (SIM unlocked and SuperCID) device with HTC 1.18.416.1 Rom. Cingular rom do have problems with MMS for me in my country (don´t works), but HTC 1.18 hang up constantly my phone although MMS works fine. With Cingular 1.34 phone works fine (no hang up), but I have the MMS problem.
I do have the HTC Rom ship 1.35 for upgrade and for install right now, but on Wiki I read that the SPL or IPL would be upgraded to 1.09 and is not possible downgrade to 1.06 or 1.04.
Any methods for avoid it????, The explains are very confusing for me. Any help for the upgrade to HTC 1.35 Rom, without the 1.09 ipl or spl problem.
I don´t want problems because when it be available I need chage the rom for my language. In this moment no upgrade rom is available in my language.

Well i've just updated my G4 CID_locked mob with official T-mobile rom. Now my G4 have IPL/SPL 3.08.001 bootloader. Is it safe to upgrade with safe wm6 rom ? I guess it will be couse it want overwrite bootloader, but just to be sure i want to get confirmation
New t-mobile rom is: RUU_Prodigy_3821_382124_026911_TMO_HR_WWE_Ship
But unfortunatly it is WM5 rom.
i upgrade my g4 wizard to wm6 (TNT 5.0 Rom)
and its work great.

How on earth did you get that IPL/SPL? Did you CID unlock your G4?

I had a UK Orange SPV M3100 which I SIM unlocked and also upgraded to WM6 Black Satin... this was a great phone and worked very well for me. I now have a Kaiser and gave my upgraded M3100 to my brother. However, his IT department at work won't allow him to put the latest version of Activesync on his PC (God knows why, but there you go...). WM6 requires this updated version of Activesync.
So, my question is this:
What is the best WM5 ROM out there?
I assume as I have CID and SIM unlocked the phone, these will not need to be done again. Also, am I right in thinking that he may be limited to a 2GB micro SD card with WM5?

i downgraded my ATT 8525 back to WM5 after realizing WM6 was just too sluggish on the phone. So i just went back to the original shipped version of att/cingular wm5 listed on xda-dev wiki here:

you can find your orange wm5 rom there, just look for the latest version...hope that helps

guaranty for my device i would like to send my device to Vodafone.
But my problem is that i have flashed a new WM 6.1 and so I changed
my SPL to 2.G4.4PDA but Vodafone do not repair modified Devices.
I have already flashed the "original" Vodafone Windows Mobile but still
have the "wrong" SPL.
So my question is: Can someone provide me the SPL 2.15.0001, and tell me
how to change the SPL ?

I only have the 2.20.0001
original qtek rom.... want it?
On the list of available shipped ROMs, some of them come with an SPL whilst others don't. The shipped QTek should have an SPL. Try and flash that, and then the operator branded ROM.
I think, the one from XDA Neo from O2 has this SPL.
Maybe you can download it from O2 Germany first. But be sure, that you have HARDSPL Your device.
O2 ROM has SPL information on it.
After flashing from O2 ROM.Try to reflash it again with lazytool and nk.nbf file from original Vadafone ROM
But the problem is. Do you have the original vadofone ROM?
If not, that is something not good.
