Comments about extrom:
you can delete all cabs and put into this dir yours favorite progs.
On a pictures all in russian, but if you delete russification cab from extrom - all will be in english.

This ROM composed on our drivers from wm5 aku 2.20
And now you dont need BatFix.
In additional software:
All is standard - Adobe reader, TAO Java, Zip, Camera 3.02 (because this camera driver without battery drain as my 4.03 and higher), MMS 3.5.

I think yes, if you dont change the XIP-section, and yours nba-file have a name "Prophet_17944wwe&rus_k0ster.nba" because this name hardly writed in PagePool-utils.

What is the original ppool size of this rom? Also, when i want the rom english, i just delete all the cabs in extrom? or do i need to replace them with english ones? Rom looks great, i´m kind of bored flashing all thos nice looking touch roms which all have more or less bugs.
Are the common WM6 problems fixed on this rom?
- Missing wifi settings
- Missing bt settings
- Corrupt mail accounts
- Wifi not tuning on all tries

I find a way, to include the German xT9 to to my StarTrek 8500.
To do this, you have to download the Zip file and an RegEditor!

i am sincerely hoping that one of you would be so kind to do a rom with asian regional settings support. For hongkong & taiwan, the wince.nls is close to 1.2mb. altering this will also requires alteration to the rom.

i tried xip porting with the large wince.nls, but after flashing, the device just hangs at the bootscreen, my map.txt does not shows any error and everything seems ok while porting, but it just doesn't boot. i hope someone could help me as well on this.

Hi, guys, I'm from China. First, thanks for your efforts. Many people including me would like a ROM with English User Interface, Chinese(PRC/Hongkong/Singapore/Taiwan) regions support and with Microsoft original input method (this is important for type using QWERTY keyboard).

ce-star aint very compatible with some software.
personally, i am using a push email client on my touch pro. if alterating the wince.nls using ce-star or other software, the push email software will somehow behaves strangely. however, if the chinese regional settings are cooked into the rom, or rather the XIP, then everything will be perfect.
we do not need a rom with chinese display support as fonts can be installed by ourselves. but we do need a rom with asian regional settings support as what "imkow" has said.

i think we are trying to do the same thing altho my case is diamond in japanese.
i am facing the same issue. using bebe's kitchen with htc wwe rom as a base, even if i replace the original wince.nls by another wince.nls which supports asian language, the wince.nls in the cooked rom is the original one. i am not sure if it's the issue of rom or the kitchen because i could replace wince.nls in a polaris rom using the same kitchen. but i am not sure if the xip porting function in the bebe's kitchen is really working with this shipped rom somehow...
using kaiser kitchen, i can rebuild the dumped rom with Part01.raw, Part02.raw and the htc wwe rom without any errors, if i burn it on my diamond, it does not boot at all.
any suggestions or helps?

It's kind of hard to do any cooking when no one's uploaded any asian (or Japanese for that matter) roms to base it on. Just putting the wince.nls in a WWE rom won't be enough.

It took a whole day work for an Alpha release.
Hope PROven team does not change xip.bin in their next release.

I too don't like Ce-Star, when texting in the middle like some of the characters go off screen. I think t his would be cool too. But is there no way we can mod a current rom?

For display, use korechithai, for input ChinaFEP_No5en. Ignore the other files.
I prefer ruffruff's suggestion to cook a rom include Asian NLS and fonts.
Then you can add IME freely.
If you have a Asian xip.bin, you can cook freely too.
This is my goal.

I use the exact same files for my Chinese need. It supports both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Simplified is selected by default. Remember not to turn on ClearType in Landscape for TP due to a bug.

I am using this with ROMeOS. Wroks just fine. Love it.
I got a X05HT last week and found time to do the work.
I customized a new ROM based on [ROM][WWE][13.02.09] PROven ROM 2.2 20764 UNPROTECTED . Thanx go to qsqa.

It seems it is the feature.

I don't think the other rom gives DSM and RGU. The modification will be difficult.
Basically, one can modify but ...

thx, s2k7. I am working on customizing my fuze with your rom. Found something unfamiliar but yet confirm what would be the cause. Will report back.
As others posted, missing T9 is a big concern. Possible to have a solution of getting it back?

Yes, I know this one. But I keep getting permission error during the Main installation.
Maybe I need another hard reset?
EDIT: still no luck after a hard-reset. Any advice would be appreciated.
EDIT2: my mistake - didn't read instruction carefully. First terminate SipGT_app process then the installation go through smoothly .

After a couple of days try of customization (including 3 hard resets) especially testing different radios, I think my Fuze is stable and work as I expected. Fine tune to optimize battery and other performance issues might be needed but not major. A GREAT ROM.
What I like the most is the OP's integration of Asian support with a WWE ROM. This is the first time my Gmail can read emails with Chinese characters correstly without messing up other features. Before loading this ROM to my phne, I almost decide to give us Gmail as I had to open my computer to read emails received from my Chinese friends.
Also OP's selection of the base ROM is appreciated. IMHO, PROven 1.08 is the most STABLE Touch Pro ROM here. I know this may not be the newest build with all funcy features. However, the fundamental for most of us here is stability as the phone is a tool we use everyday but not a toy (at least not primarily).
I am very grateful to s2k7's effort to make this happen, and hope this release can be continued along with the update with the base ROM even I understand the fact of that the request of C/J/K support over WWE ROM is limited to a small group of users.

I'm using FarEastone customized Touch Pro here in Taiwan and changed settings to Japanese as you have mentioned above. After I installed IME_31J for JP Input, I'm having problem writing Japanese using Hardware Keyboard.
Settings done by PQzII by enabling IME tapping SYM key, however, once I tried to type any letter on the keyboard, the settings returned to English Keyboard.
Software Keyboard is working fine by typing Japanese characters using Romaji input method.
Any idea of how to fix this problem?
I have solved this problem by myself. My Touch Pro is customized for Taiwan's FarEastone. I have found that the Keyboard layout does something for my problem, therefore I changed registry HKLM\Hardware\DeviceMap\KEYBD\CurLang from 404 (tw Chinese) to 409 (US). I use PQzII to toggle IME (ATOK) and everything seems working OK. お騒がせしました

If yes, can you explain the OEM language change procedure, cause I want to make a greek one.
And how exclude tom tom? Everytime I did this, at the first boot configuration I get a tomtom cab doesn't exist error and any ext package after that error doesn't install.

Hello, what do you mean by fixed for 6.5.x versions? Does it mean it will work out of stock in 23XXX or 236XX(all new builds other than 235XX) without the Caller ID issue?
