This ROM is better than WM6 Essentials ROM? Can I flash this ROM to a CID-locked device?
It seems that this rom doesn't have the usb issue.
well, till now.
k0ster , a little bug , when you go in the phone settings window(e.g. to change the ring tone)you can't apply the modifications,the "ok" buttons doesn't work at all.

I dont know better or not, but this ROM based on original Charmer drivers.

Your signature links don't seem to be working (at least from UK). Is there a download site?
Update - worked today, then Rapidshare worked as well.
It is a good rom so far with testing - buttons work with the patch, a2dp works straightaway. Unfortunately the phonepad skin is TMobile as is the dialpad. Otherwise it is very good so far, thanks.
Great thing for me is the usb charging works like it used to on WM5 with no need to apply patch.

I'm not shure what exacly it does (but it somehow tells the battery to charge) . and yes you'll need it unless you use the original Battdrevr.dll

XDADevBatFix is a solution of XDADev community developed by means of community collaboration. You will find the history and also an explanation about how it works here --> xda-developers.com
If you're using BatteryStatus you could also create a DWORD ApplyBatteryFix=1 under BatteryStatus-Registrykey. (Then you don't need to install the fix)

Well I fixed the battery charging problem using wm5 drivers and the new Gullum Rom has it your prophet will charge perfectly with car charger + usb charger + any other charger that it used to charge in wm5. also the wifi problem and welcome screen freeze + blue tooth problem has been fixed

I can confirm that it's true so next versions of my roms will have all these things fixed...

you can atleast tell or share battery dependent (dll , exe ) files (and registry entries)to be copy pasted from wm5 just for battery part . and it doesnt let me copy paste battdrvr.dll (33Kb) anywhere , it might need some extraction tool.

same here need some luck on this one , possibly because randomaccess.exe is used both by pocket cm and this program so its a name overlap ,means dead lock

Personaly i think that PocketCM starts too slow, at this moment i use iContact 04 because is much more faster ;-)

I also need this. The good thing in random access from the rest of similar softwares is that it can be opened when choosing contacts for composing a new sms.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I am basing from some screenshots I saw.

No Chance guys it doesn't work
just a cab for random access i modified to work on prophet ,i have tried yet .(work on all previous wm6(shadoW surely) ),depends on how sticky should it be.its gonna be a permanent part of all future roms .

Sorry it doesn't work
well you should have downloaded "random access corrected" only because i made a double upload in single post also install it after a fresh soft reset and then do not close contacts with xbutton type applications and later on if you sync with your computer ,i did have trouble once it stopped to work for which i had to hard reset to shadoW rom and reinstall random access but its working without problem on shadoW ,i am making a post again here just incase that file was incorrect

Logic it's a VGA device with all Hardware different, we can port XIP and build but never the OEM parts

The image file is also bigger than the memory our prophets have!
NEVER EVER TRY TO FLASH A ROM BIGGER THAN THE OFFICIAL ROMS!!!!!

I dumped the ROM, and was looking at things in it, but then my spare hard drive (what I was playing around with it on) died and now I can't get it to dump properly! I hate windows and old hard drives!!!

Cloudyfa told me, Diamond ROm is not so good.
But no Problem. I will try Gullum's ROM later, based from Diamond's ROM.
But I will buy Diamond this Year, if it is available in Germany.

First tweak for wm6.5
Disable windows animations:

Its an OEM package meant to be built in to ROMs, you can't just install it into your current ROM.

Sorry, this might be an absolutely dumb question and at the risk of sounding like a noob (which I am). I have NRGZ28's EnergyRom 2.0 BETA which already had this manila as of whenever it was cooked. what happens if I replace the manila files in the windows directory (from his rom) with these?
He's sending out a new update tonight sometime. so If this thing goes down the crapper its only a matter of time before I flash my phone again?

It has landscape mode. It's the one xboxmod is working on and the same but newer version from the Energy ROM. Unfortunately it does need to be cooked in.

I cooked it into a rom and it worked well. I had a couple of issues that have already resolved regarding the contacts page in manilla but probably an error on my part in being an inexperienced cook.
