Where is the cube?
Everybody is talking about cube,
I installed 4.0.0.0.6 PV-Touch. I saw nice touch flo operations.
But when I press the button just below the camera button I see 6 Icons on the screen, I can move them by finger.
But I could see only three faces
1. 6 icons screen
2. Music, photos, video screen
3. contact buddies screen.
In cube it supposed to be 6 screen.
Other wise we should call it as triangle.
Can anybody is able to see all 6 faces?

Ciao a tutti sono Stefano, da qualche mese seguo lo sviluppo della rom e ho contattato Luigi che ha tradotto la rom da end->ita del P3600...
Questa estate non ho avuto tempo da dedicare per fare prove, ma non e' "difficilissimo" convertire la rom da end->ita ci vuole molto tempo...
Magari se riusciamo ad organizzarci qualcosa si riesce a combinare...

sono due giorni che tento di tradurre la pdaviet touch 4.0.0.0.6...
risultati nulli...ho già flahato tre volte e il cell non parte mai...torno alla vecchia rom inglese...
se qualcuno è più bravo di me mi puo contattare in privato? io sto tentando di aggiungere anche qualche software in piu come la camera 3.0 e altri...credo di sbagliare qualcosa in questo perchè quando faccio il buildos spesso mi da errori per file gia esistenti. ho provato a cancellare brutalmente dalla cartella sys qusti file e buildos si conclude senza errori ma alla fine il cel si impianta nella prima schermata di avvio.
se qualcuno mi puo aiutare gliene sarei grato...

ciao a tutti come scritto in altro topc sono nuovo di questo forum e mi piacerebbe acquistare il tytn ovviamente in italiano, non mi sembra che ci siano per il momento aggiornamenti in italiano, comunque vi chedo a chi di voi è già in possesso del tytn quali sono i bugs più frequenti e se li avete risolti in parte, vorrei anche sapere come si installano gli aggiornamenti visto che sono a digiuno del wm5, un saluto a tutti e buon lavoro.
Bug tanti...a mio parere..risoluzioni per ora poche...
Alcuni hanno problemi con il touch screen che perde l'allineamento di tanto in tanto (parliamo di 1mm no di 1 cm) però è pure sempre un difetto ...chi ci assicura che dopo 1 anno 1mm non diventa 5cm?
Alcuni compreso il mio ha problema con i tasti della tastiera hardware...esempio io ho la R che se la premo con la stessa pressione degli altri tasti alcune volte non scrive...
Altri lamentano problemi con la fotocamera...io non ne ho.
Altri ancora dicono che la notifica di un messaggio vocale non funziona (Non ho mai ricevuto un messaggio vocale quindi....non ho provato)
C'è chi a volte non riesce a fermare un'allarme...e per chiudere questo maledetto bt stereo per sentire la musica con le cuffie e con il bluetooth non funzionra fluidamente.
Per le risoluzioni...il touchscreen puoi reallinearlo...ma è una soluzione temporanea. Ti conviene piùttosto darlo indietro e farlo cambiare.
la tastiera idem.
Fotocamera idem.
Per gli altri difetti che sembrano più che altro dovuti a un problema software ti consiglio di aspettare un pò e vedee se con i futuri aggiornamenti della rom vengono risolti.
si parla di questi problemi anche in un altro post...
Sembra che HTC stia lavorando ad un aggiornamento della rom...
Vedremo...
Se qualcuno fosse così gentile da rendere disponibile la rom italiana saremma già un passo avanti...

ogni rom W6 ma anche le w5 aku3 è che non sono state fatte esplicitamente per l'S200 ma sono degli "adattamenti" di rom fatte per altri device.
Per diverso tempo ho usato una W5 AKu3.3 (l'ultima rom ufficiale di qtek e imate è una w5 aku 2.2) e devo dire che le ROm W6 sono molto meglio a livello di compatibilità tra device e molto stabili. Ognuna ha cmq qualche difetto, ci sono quelle senza MMs composer e che magari hanno problemi con BT eWifi, altre che hanno problemi di utilizzo di memoria eccessivo, altre con problemi di batteria...praticamente non esiste una ROM "adattata" senza difetti, devi trovare quella che ha dei difetti che per te non sono tali perchè magari no nusi quelle funzioni "bacate".
Per me ad sempio la ROM cucinata da Gullum è quasi perfetta, ha solo qualche problemino di momoria (la versione con pagepool da 4mb è praticament esente da questo problema) non ha l'mms composer e non ho trovato altri difetti.
Nota generale che affligge tutte le rom w6 (ma secondo me anche i device originali con w6) è che la batteria dura meno rispetto a w5. io arrivo a fine giornata con circa il 25/30 % di batteria con W5 finivo la giornata con 50/60%
Hmmm...ho visto che è spuntata la V3 della rom di gollum, qualcuno di voi l'ha già provata?
Per toglirmi l'ultimo dubbio, per aggiornare a WM6 mi basta eseguire lo step1(PdaVIET,PDAMOBIZ) e poi il UPGRADE.BAT partendo dalla rom originale,giusto?

No io sono con la V2 e sto aspettando visto Gullum rilascerà la V4 molto probabilmente.

No, non devi scaricare niente, sono già integrate. Seleziona il phone pad, poi scegli options (sempre tramite la freccetta per cambiare tastiera). Oppure dal menu settings->input.

sto girando forum su forum per capire una cosa che per i guru è semplicissima.
Vorei aggiornare il mio HTC TyTn HERM200 con le bellissime ROM che si trovano su questo newsgroup, ma sono fermo su questi quesiti:
1) come posso salvare la mia ROM per ripristinarla nel caso l'aggiornamento non funzionasse?
2) dove trovare una ROM completa di tutti i software in ITALIANO.
3) se questa rom non esistesse posso prenderne una in INGLESE e trasformarla (non so come) in ITALIANO?
4) In alternativa come posso aggiungere alcuni programmi ad esempio (Arcsoft, HTC home ecc.) alla mia ROM e crearne una personalizzata per il mio TyTn?
Mi dispiace di non poter scrivere questa richiesta di AIUTOOOOOO in inglese ma avevo paura di non essere abbastanza chiaro.

Però mi sembra che su xda posso trovarla.

Per la verità nella nuova versione ho intenzione di non inserire ne HTC Album ne il cubo TouchFlo sono applicazioni carine ma poco utili meglio risparmiare sulla memoria e installare altri programmi che sono più funzionali come per esempio "Resco Photo Viewer".
Che ne dici dell'idea?

Per il software "Resco Photo Viewer" è stato frainteso il mio pensiero, vediamo di chiarire il discorso. Io intendo dire che è meglio avere una ROM leggera e permettere agli utenti di installare i software che vogliono e non obbligare a utilizzare programmi già farciti nella rom. Spero che questa volta sono stato chiaro, e non ho nessuna intenzione di inserire programmi non free nella mia rom.

mrlntn con il programma battery status la ver 1.04.203 beta4 non segnala la quantita di memoria disponibile sulla scheda sd con la rom caffie/korrand/crystal la segnalazione è corretta comunque la memoria viene vista e usata
per chi usa il prophet anche come navigatore gps io uso "igo2006plus" funziona senza intoppi

I asked HTC support a downloadable package but they told me they can't give it to consumers!

io contattato via email HTC per chiedere se sarà disponibile l'aggiornamento della ROM a wm 6.5 ufficiale e la risposta è stata che "forse sarà disponibile per il nostro modello"(speriamo). a te????

OTTIMA IDEA!!! Bisogna reclutare altri possessori Htc S740 per la lotta contro HTC.
...anche perchè guardando le caratteristiche (anche come estetica) è meglio S740)) dello Snap )) e non rieco ancora a capire perchè pur essendo molto simili , la rom c'è solo per lo Snapmad...
P.S. sto iniziando ad odiare lo Snap e in parte anche l'HTC perchè non è il modo di comportarsi (o tutti o nessuno)

Rom in italiano.
In questi giorni, grazie ai vari "pezzi" trovati sul forum ho messo insieme una rom per il Rose "leggera" (ho tolto alcune cose, tipo le lingue straniere, il reader rss e le note) che è per un buon 90% in italiano. In pratica è basata sulla versione inglese 6.1, alla quale ho aggiunto i pacchetti italiani trovati nel post riguardante il Vox. Effettuando poi un paio di modifiche al registro, ho ottenuto il T9 in italiano.
Non avendo tutti i file necessari per la tastiera estesa, ho modificato un file per quella inglese per averne una funzionante al meglio con la nostra lingua. Purtroppo il tasto Fn+Spazio non funziona come dovrebbe e apre il menù di scelta Xt9. Io sto provando da ieri e mi sembra tutto stabile. Faccio qualche altra prova e se pensate possa esservi utile, posto il risultato del mio lavoro e le modifiche che ho fatto. Però ricordate che io non sono responsabile di eventuali problemi !!!
