yes, version 4.91. do a search on threads about blackberry and athena words.
Yes, there was a guy that got it working. I think he even got it working on the latest Athena Project ROM by PK. Just an FYI...not sure if the ROM had anything to do with it or not.

yes, change in the windows.nb the word Htc-Athena into HTC-Hermes (appears 2 times) and reflazsh this file. you can have complete instructions in the forums abot bb hacking. it works perfect -and fast...

Thanks for that. Only problem (and I may be really thick here) is that I can't find NBExtract or any of the other tools I need to do the job. I think I will wait for the time being before going to WM6. Being a noob at Rom hacking (but fairly technical generally) i think I need a little more info before i take a working wm5 Athena and hope I can get it working on WN6 with Blackberry connect

I guess this means unlocking the device in order to flash it, unless you use your own CID's image. Has anyone flashed an HTC branded device? If so, could you be kind enough to upload the resulting ROM that includes BBC?

It's very risky to share this class of files. And modificate a rom is very easy, you should try it. It is not difficult.

ok i was able to get the ruu extracted with nbhtool.
what came out of that was
Extendedrom.nb
windows.nb
primarysplash.nb
radio.nb
secondarysplash.nb
spl.nb
then i tried tadzios app to try and dump the rom i used the hermes setting and prophet setting both didnt give me a dump folder just some files. one was imgfs others i forgot.
anyone have any ideas.

Not having much luck converting the nb to imgfs either. I've tried aWaiter, aChef, and then various imgfs tools that errored out. I don't know enough about the file format to conclude anything (for all I know, I missed a step somewhere. )
Anyone with more experience have anything to add?

err its not that simple
firstly atm the tool only goes one way, secondly even if you did get one to re-compile it you cannot flash unsigned code to the titan until someone bypasses that.
Oh that just bites. I was hoping to have some touchflo goodness sooner rather than later.
Also how fast does something like that usually take? days? Months? years? is it something simple. Or is it a very daunting task like looking for an exploit in the xbox 360

well you need someone to work on it. they need the knowledge of how and a device to try/experiment on. if no-one does it it will never be done

The dump tools in midgets post will dump the files from the RUU_Singed.nbh. you will need to extract the .nbh from the newest rom update HTC released. i think the nbh may be in this thread look on page one im not sure.
once you extract the .nbh whats the nexts step??

I'm still downloading the rar file.....anyone got step by step instructions on how to flash the ROM.

get an original ROM , run the DSUU installer, replace the NBO file located on temporary file (it may be on local setting/username/temp or windows/temp..just try to find it) then run installation

The updating of HP ROM is not the same as the Atom. After downloading the original RUU, run the update, and then cancel it when you see the Welcome page. The files will be installed on a specific directory C:\iPAQ\SP34074
Unlike the Atom, the HP ROM file is 1.01.03_rw68x8_diskimage_WWE_sign.nbf
I am just surprised that the WM6 ROM file for download is named diskimage_ver.nb0 when in fact this is the name for the Atom ROM file. I haven't check this file though if it's really for HP.
edit: The original HP RUU requires a signed ROM file. I think you guys need a separate RUU that does not required signed files; otherwise, this ROM download is useless to you.

I don't have problems downloading from most sites except the location of this file. I've tried a lot of times but it breaks off at 15%!

To be honest mate unless someone has dumped the rom you will be very lucky to find it!
T-Mobile rarely release the ROMs and generally the Ship ROM will appear along side the updated ROM (probably WM 6.1 Update when it arrives).

I can search and can see that... but i can not find a T-Mobile Uk rom hence the post.
I have dumped the RAW files but am having grief rebuilding on my Vista box (XP partition died yesterday). I can up them somewhere if someone else wants to rebuild the rom.

Hi Randomelements there is a problem in part02.raw imgfsToDump gives a problem
Unhandeled exception in DumpImageData so i cant create a newos.nb and therefore i cannot build the rom sorry but i tryed everything but this seems to be a problem i cannot find a way that i go round it mayby somebody else has the solution @Random maybe you post the link to your .raw files i will not do this without your permission, cheers

Hello everyone. I am new to the forums, and I am struggling to create my own rom. I have read many tutorials and looked at Wiki too, but still am unable to create my own rom.
I was wondering if anyone on here is willing to create a video demonstration of how to actually use Hypercore Hitchen.
IE. Take an OS.nb dump it, make some changes, Cook and then Flash.
(I am particularly struggling to understand ExtROM part.)

Ah amazing!!!! I think this will be beneficial to many beginners like myself.
(Please take into consideration that im a noob at this when making the demonstration haha. )
alright some is going to be really obvious so if you dont understand tell me.
there will lots of parts where you need to copy ad do this but i didnt do them in the video because im working on a ROM right now and i dont want to mess things up
I know how to dump an OS.nb to get the SYS and OEM files.
What I dont understand is what to do next, and what to do with a rom that has an ExtROM folder.
Perhaps just make a demo of your procedure and I'll see if I can understand / learn from that.
i havent used a rom with an extended rom folder so i wouldnt be able to help you on that.
Could you still produce a video for one without an extrom folder? It will still be a good start. Thanks.

Edit: i got the ruu_signed.nbh out of the exe, by running it, then the files become unhidden.
However, now im at a point where im wondering what parts from the rom i need to not **** up my device once ive made the rom. im thinking i need the sys folders, but i can have a different xip?
could someone confirm its possible to even cook with this rom, or does the new spl mean it cant be cooked?
ok, now, im just kinda working things out before i do anything much, if my athena has the new spl, once ive made the rom, i can just leave out the spl.nb part when making a new .nbh file? im only asking because duttys good nbh editor wont let you cook a new spl in when you select athena.
also, are ATHE100 and superCID the right options when making a new nbh using the tool?

don't worry when i was trying to port the xip i screwed up so bad that on restart all i got was a green ring around the dpad but then i figured it out and now everything is cool... just remember if you can get to bootloader than your fine
