Boy, the Atom Life is tricky to change. I know of a procedure, but I'm not sure if works because I don't have an ATOM LIFE.

And that's the point, we should talking about.
As I said in an other thread, my comming device the XDA Comet (same as ATOM Life) will be released in a few days in Germany. And I'm very interested in romcooking.
Unfortunately I have only basic knowledge in such things.
But with a good guide I'm shure we can solve this problem.
Btw the XDA Comet will have WM6 in german. And OS 5.2.1616 -(Build18120.0.4.0).
I think it's newer than the actual Atom Life ROM ,right?
hope there is other way to free the RAM.............

Unfortunately there is no officiell update, but if a romdump with Grabit is OK, than that'll be the first thing I will do with the device.

I saw yesterday by Expansys that MWG offers the actual Atom Life with their own Hardware-Branding.

Since they offer this device under their own brand, I was wondering if they changed the software.
Please, if someone has the MWG branded device, post your actuall OS version No.
Maybe we have some new stuff for our old Atom Life/ Comet .
Even, if they only changed the splash screens, please share with us your ROM.

I have it and have for over one week and yes everything including the ROM, Splash Screens, Today is different and I will post the things scorpio16v asked for later.

Using the MWG rom, its the same as O2.
Those at MWG are O2 Upgrade Roms....

You are in wrong place. There is no such ROM here. There may be one without bugs in paradise.
Also you do not even state your device. No ROM can run on all different devices.
Anyway, you should not stay here asking questions, try them out yourself.

try mr. helloworld1 ROM.... there's a beta with very minimal bugs....
can't wait to see his full release...

I'm using PDAVIET ATOM LIFE WM 6.1 OS 5.2.19214 build 19214 by Medkid and is very clean, no bugs and faster.

there's only best rom for you! you have to try and figured out which one is suites for you....

the best ROM version that you may used is depend on what Devices/Mobile that you have... try to read all the forums related to ROM upgrade and you will see the best ROM for your devices...
as OGEL2 advice, just try and figure out what is the best ROM for your..

You are loading Atom EXEC. ROM on Atom PURE. Please use the one by Kumkum 20748 for Atom pure.

those roms are not made by kumkum, those made by SONBLACK from pdaviet.net.....
This is just a wishful thinking if someone tried Android on Atom Life. I google for it to try myself but as this is my first o2 device I thought its better to ask others. Hope it would be as easy as it was on my HTC TyTn.
