Yes. Check mrvanx.org and look for downgrade guides. It will explain.

It's been a while since I sold my XDA 2, but when I downgraded from the beta of WM5 all I remember doing was reflashing with my favourite ROM. Which ROM version were you looking to go back to? Chances are it will be on the ftp.
In fact, I need to know how I can remove my Charmer MDA2 Wm5 ROM, and replace it by my magician MDA1 Wm3 ROM ?

will there be any loss in performance with 6.1?
well try it and find out if there is? That is the point of flashing roms to see if you personally find that the rom is better or worse. What one person finds great in a rom another thinks it is bad. Its all personal taste in the end. But you will never find out unless you try
yeh i suppose so. i'll give 6.1 a try though. is it easy enough to put it back to an earlier rom? total newb here as u might have guessed .

hmm.. i want to ask it..^^..
There are many posts that tell you how to downgrade from wm6 to wm5 say, all i do is run the wm5 install software then it comes up with an error, and then i run it immediately again and it installs, hope this helps

Can anyone help me on how to upgrade from WM5 to WM6 on the O2 XDA Trion? I've looked on the O2 website and it looks like they don't support this phone anymore. I've also had a look online and it seems there was an update available but I can't find a working link to it.
