A jasjam is the same as any other hermes, and there is no right ROM, just better ROMs. Try Schaps, TNT, or vp3G.

The only feedback I can give is that Schaps 3.54c seems to be the most stable and complete ROM i've run on my JASJAM. On the radio side, I've had a lot of problems with 1.41.00.10 and recently switched to 1.43.00.00 - so far so good.
To be honest, I think it is as much a question of trial and error.

Any comments on the WM2003SE ROM?
Ive recently installed it and i think its great, the only thing is is that you cant access the Auto Configure and Permenant save menus, but other than that it works fine. It really improves the look of the pda and it seems to run smoother. Ive herd that there is a 2005 rom but havent found it.

I have Dpopd 818 Pro and upgrade to WM6, tried both WM6 Crossbow PDAViet ROM v3 and v4, both of them run into the issue where when the phone gets into stand by the phone does not ring when my friend call me.
I've update the Radio v2.61.21. and it doesn't help. Can anyone suggest the solution?
Update:
I downgrade it back to WM5, and the problem is not repro.
There must be some setting different to cause this issue.
Issue Resolved:
By downgrade the RADIO ROM to 2.19 solve the problem!
Same was for me with PDAViet ROM v3, after this I upgraded to V4 - and now 3 days without problems...

Did you try have your phone stand by for couple hours and try to call your phone from another phone, and see if your phone is ringing?

I have the same problem too, even with other rom(smart1, Aserg AKU 3.3.13 US). Now i've downgrade the radio rom to 2.19.21, seems fine now.
I also have 818pro with PDAViet 4.0.0.4 now.
After I installed 4.0.0.3a I also had this problem. But I solved the problem assigning a new sound as the default one. Don't use the ones that come with rom. Rather copy a new mp3 or wav to the phone and go to the file explorer and set that file as new ringtone.

Don't bother to try it, I just did, and it still repro for me.

do you have SPL 2.2?
i found that SPL 2.15 work very poor with new radio rom builds, it goes fine with only radio rom 2.19 and 2.20.
can anybody confirm?

I'm downgrage the RADIO rom to 2.19, and I will let you know if the problem has solved. Thank you for the suggestion.
Take a look at Settings/Personal/Sounds & Notifications/Notifications, event "Phone:Incoming call", and Settings/Phone/Sounds Tab.
For me, these settings WERE DIFFERENT!, and my prophet do not ring until set the same value for both...

My guess is that all these WM6 ROMs are stable by itself. It is when it fully loading with all sorts of you-know-what WM5 applications that something start stepping on something and "bugs" show up. My Chinese add-on caused me some headache with Windows Live and solved after about one and half month for the program to be identified.
The hardest part is nailing which program is "green" for the particular WM6 ROM.
What appls you have on the machine? How extensively you use your machine other than use it as a plain phone?

the guys already said,that if you downgrade to radio 2.19.21,the bug is fixed... Be a genius yourself mate,DOWNGRADE YOUR RADIO ROM

well try it and find out if there is? That is the point of flashing roms to see if you personally find that the rom is better or worse. What one person finds great in a rom another thinks it is bad. Its all personal taste in the end. But you will never find out unless you try

OK now before U start cursing me, please hear me out first.
I have a HTC TyTN in German, and I can make squad out of it cause I don't understand this language. (it was a gift btw)
Now I have gone trough the manuals and trough wiki but for a total beginner like my self a lot of this stuff is confusing. So here is my plead:
Can anyone put in a small manual how to convert this German speaking HTC TyTN in to nice and understandable English one
Now when I do the OK+POWER+Reset stuff this is what shows up on the screen:
HERM200
IPL 1.00
SPL 1.06
The Phone Info on the other side shows this mambo jumbo:
ROM-version: 1.18.257.2
ROM-datum: 07/22/06
Funkempfangerversion: 1.03.03.10 (told U is in German)
Protokoll-version: 32.34.7010.01H
ExtROM-version: 1.18.257.8003
Now keep in mind this is the only place that I have found that has this kind of info so go easy on me.
