hi, everybody i'm very interesting to upgrade my atom from wm5(wwe) to wm6(wwe,with htc touch flo function.but i'm confuse about which rom is suitable to me and where can i download the rom version .please forgive me that i'm still fresh about upgrading. thanks for help.

About touchflo ROM, we dont have ROM with touchflo already. YOU need to install it separately.

downloaded Da_G's kitchen so that i could start cooking some 6.5 roms for my touch pro... was wondering how i can go about getting a basic rom to work ... i load the rom and then select the file then go create rom. .. but when i flash it i just get the boot screen with the radio (etc) version on it.
what am i doing wrong?

The first thing that you're doing wrong is that havent read the rules.
The second thing you did wrong is that you haven't used the search function.
The third thing that you did wrong is that you didn't looked in the corresponding thread

I followed the instructions to the letter from the ORIGIONAL kitchen post at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=474406 and it did not work.
I have already used the search tool .. and i can't work out what i have done wrong ... so if i can't start a new thread and ask a simple question ... what is the point of a forum?

Hi there, please accept my apologies if this topic has been posted (many times) before, but I am having trouble wading through the excellently huge amount of info on XDA-Dev, and am finding myself more confused than informed by the time I have gone through one or two threads Roms.
So, may I ask some very simple questions about what is a Rom, what it does, what information will be specifically interesting for me, what 'Flashing' does, a simple step-by-step ABC of how to 'upgrade' my HTC HD2 with a new ROM to make it work better, and what you may need from me in order to be able to focus my query in the right direction.
Again, apologies if this is a much hacked subject, as I'm certain on such a forum, with the very knowledgable and creative developers it has, you have been approach more than once on this very subject.
Any help is most apprecited.

Please guys can somebody give me a good rom on toshiba tg01 with ANDROID.
There is a lot of stuff but it is too complicated for me to upload and go proper for good working device.
Can somebody make some ROM for toshiba to flashing like a normal Rom like windows 6 not software which is working in windows mobile.
Anyway please give me some good working rom in one file!! cab file or file for flashing device.
Will you have some good working ANDROIND ROM for Toshiba tg01 with easy instalation ? If Yes please give me a link.

I think it won't be beneficial for anyone who tries to search for some information to look into 450 different threads if everyone started to post their questions as individual thread rather than addressing it in the correct thread!

OP, you are more likely to get help with questions in the Q&A section. Please read your posts carefully before starting a new thread to make sure you put it in the correct section. This keeps our forums clean and gives you the best chance to get the help you need.
While there is a TON of information out there on rooting, kernels, ROMs, etc, you really will learn a lot by just spending some time searching and reading over information, Google is your friend for general knowledge on these items, and XDA will help with your device specific needs. I'm sure the nice people here will offer you some more advice on the phone you have, in the meantime, start reading and learning, it really can be fun and satisfying Good luck to you!

1)about root- it's sticky thread in general section. how you missed it? didn't read..
2)google for app2sd, super app2sd, link2sd..
3) about your last few questions, that you will need to find out yourself. there are plenty threads around XDA and on google, which explains what is what.
Forum is big, yes, so there is no need for creating threads for each and every question, and making it even bigger. Some questions can easily be found by simple search, or by looking(not sure how hard is it to spot sticky thread..)

OK, first off, thread titles should be indicative of what your problem is so that they have some relevance when doing a search. Secondly, this is a common problem whose solution can be found by looking at the stickies and doing a search, two things that are expected of members BEFORE making a post.
Flash AJ's Siyah kernel. It'll fix your key layouts. And in the future, please follow the advice of the above poster and use more relevant thread titles.
As Miami says, everything you need is contained in the stickies. However, for someone new, wading through the info may be a little confusing at first, so here's a little guidance. First you will need to flash back to I777 stock. Then if you want to install custom firmware, you can proceed from there.
I would also suggest you use this forum as the most trusted source. Read and study the stickies, also the links in my sig, until you have a good grasp of what you are doing. Then if you have questions, feel free to ask. But you should post them in the Q&A section, not General.

@OP, see the above. You have a Senior and 2 RCs that are guiding you in your ways. But no one can do this stuff for you. I know that Panic Mode has set in and that is fine, but make sure that you Read, Search and Read again before flashing anything.
