Hi firstly thanks for the rom help ive already got from here,ive updated my rom to 03se (xda 11)for now n see how it works just i have no camera function and wonderd is there any thing i should be adding to give me the camera function on this xda11,there is no program for it at all thanks

Just installed software for camera. Or you can install WM5 or WM6 with camera software build in
I am wondering which rom did you use ? because most of the rom include camera function

What ROM are you using?... Maybe the camera is a known issue for that ROM?
What software are you trying to uninstal?

All of 2.1 rom i used.
At now I use 1.5 rom,I want uninstall Google Maps,because i used Google Maps 3.0 don't have multi-toutch.I want install Google Maps 4.1 but my Hero can't uninstall Gmaps 3.0.
Hi, I am a noob. I am using SE X10i Mini & this is my first android handset. I have stock Android 2.1 installed & rooted with one click. I want to enable " Fake dual touch" & " install apps on memory card. I don't want to install any custom rom cause I am new in it. Is it possible to get those feature without flashing to custom rom?? Please help!!!!

You can install but the work is just too much!(what i think!).
Go for MiniCM6 1.0.2 cause that is the best custom mod available around now -best performance and best stability. If you follow the instructions then you should be having zero problems installing and running it.

Thanks for your kind help. As far as I know all custom roms decreased the quality of camera. Is that true? I use my x10 mini's camera too much. Please ensure me about the camera quality of the roms.
Bah! Nothing like that! MiniCM6 has full 5MP support but MiniCM7 has only VGA support so i suggest you for MiniCM6 1.0.2 and as an extra install Camera 360 from Android Market to get some classy pictures!
If u want dual touch then search ''x8 fake dual touch'' follow the link then follow instrustions

2.2 roms are supported only fully working camera, but if you want to enable the fake 2 touch finger support ( Dual-Touch ) get update.zip 004 gesture and there is an instruction how to active it by placing fingers on the phone screen.
I have installed Dual touch. It is working in angry birds game, but not not working on gallery. I cant use pinch zoom.
I think it's usefull for all Gingerbread phones and expecially for the new ICS rom that at the moment don't have a camera working well.

I would suggest it directly on ICS developer threads (paul-xxx) but due to the fact I'm new, I can't write there.
I know nothing about programming but I think Paul or NaA or Stellios can study it and port to ICS rom

Hi friend, paul have no issue with making the app for the camera, it the drivers for the camera that isnt fully done, even if he puts this app to the ROM the camera still wont work, but thank you for trying to help

I have herd that flashing stock kernal then using cam then flash stock kernal can fix? but has anyone been threw with with a solution ?
Wold anyone have links to the kernals i need to flash without reinstalling rom?

Hello guys, the camera on my CHD has stopped working from a few days, at first I thought this was a software issue because the camera would randomly work sometimes, I tried almost on all roms, the camera didn't work and just two days ago I flashed the KK 4.4.2 and the camera apk itself is missing from the system so I think its a hardware issue.
So if anybody had this problem earlier, or knows any solution for this please help me.
The thing is I don't think the camera unit is faulty because sometimes it opens when i press hard above the camera unit on its connector. So I'm not 100% sure on what problem it is..
Any help/advice is welcome..

It could be a hardware prob , i encountered the no camera app prob after installing GAPPS in CM11 and The pacman rom , i reflashed it without GAPPS and now its working, so try that.
