Hello Guys,
i need your help! Does any1 of you experienced Rom cookers know if there is a way to create a rom of my existing already flashed rom of my phone ?
I flashed the base rom wm6 on my phone and replaced all drivers i need to newest build versions. however if i hard reset my phone all changes are reverted. i want to make a backup rom of my exisiting rom with drivers changed.
i hope u understand what i mean sorry for my bad english.

I have been wondering about a thing.. When you guys say that the WM6 roms we are using on our prophets then i think about what it is that the guys, who have ported these roms to our prophets, have changed in them? They might have replaced some drivers and so on, but what excactly have they done ?
you basically replace the drivers and adjust registry when porting a rom to a different device.

because i have already made a thread with similar question(if the mods want to merge it with this one,no problem),can you give as more details...???What drivers to replace??Where we will get the registry entries for the prophet??I have searched the forum,and the net,but i only found how to cook external rom...no HOW TO PORT TO PROPHET GUIDE..... if i use the Rom Kitchen(great work) that is already posted here,i can't change the base rom(someone asked how to change base rom in that thread and he never got an answer)...

Probably is still build 19965 (rom 1.90) so unless there is any newer OEM stuff it should still be the stock raphael build.
just want to make sure it is 1.90.813.3 or 1.90.831.3
I am looking for the 831 shipped rom as I still cannot find it anywhere

You have to build a flashable .nbh file with the rom kitchen!

Hi, I'm sure someone will be as it's the latest version, and it'll also be useful to users requiring ROM restoration to have as many different images available as possible in the hopes of matching their original.
So please upload it and post it on the wiki.
Can anyone direct me to a thread on how to rip the rom out of my phone ?
Im not really too sure where to start. But I did want the option to reflash to the original rom should I not really like one of the cooked roms.

I would like to go and build a rom myself.
I've been reading the forum a lot, but still have no clue where to start.
I want to make a dutch rom based on the official HTC WM6.1 rom.
I would like to recieve some tips and tric on how to start making a rom.
I know how to dump a rom and how to reconstruct it.
Now i want to know what tools and programs i can use to modify the rom.
For example how to remove programs and how to add them..
So i able to make a start and go my way from there.
Needless to say i will release the rom on the forum as a return of favor
Hope someone will give me some tips on how to start.

Hi thanks for looking ok so having been a rom flasher i now would like to become a cook i have ozkitchen but am not sure what rom to use i have tried to use a stock uk rom but get an error when adding gives wrong rom type or cant extract files from imgfs structure.
so my question is what am i doing wrong and just what roms do i use as i want to cook a 6.5 rom
i have searched but am not sure thanks in advance for any help and guidence

Look in the ROM's thread there are Links to stock ROM's try one of those, I have not cooked for along time , quit during WM5, but you should be able to find one there ...

What you need for it wich programs do you need ??
And i could some one make a tutiral for making a custum rom...
Things that i like to know how can you make a prerooted rom.
Getting Recovery working
How to implement the governeurs etc
How we can make our own isc without loosig the right software....
