Many pages to trawl, I did it myself for my SDA II and found a good rom.
I'm trying to find a good rom for my spv c550. Which rom did you use dskid807? Is it english? And would it work for an orange spv c550?
Also, is there a chance that I kill my spv c550 when I upload the wrong ROM?
If you flashed the wrong rom your phone would be bricked. I used the yahei 1010 rom which needed to be changed to english via settings but was otherwise fine. Read the big thread for more info

Just wondering if anyone know if there is a cab for network wizard for Dopod 838 English ROM for Asia (HK). I just flash my softbank with wm6, but it doesn't have the network wizard. I manage to find one, but it is in Chinese.
Could someone points me to what I can get it?
Also, I notice some forum says I can extract cab from ROM.. try to search thru the post here but can't find much find. If I can't find it on the .net, maybe I can extract the cab myself. Could someone point to me this direction as well?

but make sure u install Dopod_Cert as well if u are using other than dopod branded hermes.

Also I would like to know if I can upgrade it with Cingular 8525 WWE ROM? Please mods I need your help.

All the official ROM's were removed from this forum on the insistence of M$ - I don't even know if we are allowed to post links to these roms, so maybe no one can openly help.
But more to the point, since Feb this year you have had:
MDA Vario II - you want to sim unlock.
Qtek 8100 - you want to sim unlock.
XDA Wiza 200 ? - You want to change language from German to English.
2 x SPV C600 - You want to sim unlock.
Dopod CHT 9000 - You want to upgrade Chinese rom to WWE rom.
Either you are absolutely useless with phones, or dealing in them (either way is no problem) - BUT with so many phones with similar 'problems' I'd have thought it more appropriate that you learn how to do some of the work yourself - try to RTFW instead of your 'Urgent' posts.

read the wiki all the ROMs are in there, and if you have indeed upgraded/possesed so many device...why are you asking this?? you REALLY should know by now that "please help me!" is not a good way to ask for help.
I also stand corrected - I thought these Roms had been removed so didn't even bother looking

I have found an English ROM for it. [Dopod Asia WWE UNI_DopodAsia_11369_183_10402_ship.exe and CHT_ENG.exe] which one can I use to upgrade the ROM?
No one can tell you which rom to use - any should work. Just try them and see if you like them. I've tried all the Dopod WWE roms on my vodafone VPA1605 with no problem (before WM6 came out).
Try also reading mrvanx's guide - it's in his signature in post no. 3 of this thread

I have just tried upgrading it with the two ROMS but it gives me ERROR [294]: INVALID VENDER ID and Country ID error respectively. What do I do to rectify it please.

You REALLY need to read through the wiki, all the info you need is in there, you obviously havent taken any time to read through it. This thread will be closed now.
everything you need is in the wiki. i suggest you read it to avoid trashing your phone.

I try a few weeks ago upgrade my Spv m600 to WM6, to put gullum touch rom, but the upgrading wasn't been sucessfuly.
waht happens was i upgrade the rom without CID unlock, a check later the model was a G4, and now my phone freeze on first screen. I try change the rom like wiki explain, put a NovenderID rom, the original orange uk rom was on ftp of xda, but nothing can solve my problem!
So a open this new thread, for ask if someone have the official Orange UK rom for prophet, without that rom i can't repair my phone!

How about the PVtemp rom? same result?
please have a look in my thread ( @ my signature )
You can take a look in 4shared, and search for
PROPHET_ORANGE_UK_ROM.zip
maybe you have to put your prophet in bootloader (search XDA if you don't know how) and flash in the old way
hope you cab fix it

Yha, i try PVtemp, but when instalation was complete and phone restart, that will freeze on first screen!
I will try the original rom from orange link given by humrod.

This is the t-mobile sda 2 rom it works great on the spv c550 (hurricane) only prob is that the media player buttons dont work with media player they are assigned to different apps.
I am looking for the original Orange rom for the c550 so if you have it please post a link to it in this threat thanks.

How can i download it in zip ? The only thing i tried is "Artemis ROM Web Server [here]" and i go on a page with too many files... I dont know what to do.
Can somebody explain me how to get all the files in one ?
