I bought a XDA from Germany and would like to upgrade with the new ROM from XDA-developpers.
But before all, Win98 ( mine is a french one ) does not want to recognize that german O2 . More that half a day I read throuhg a lot of forums but have seen not driver or questions about that problem. Has someone the solution ?

Silly question, but have you installed activesync to communicate with the xda, or not?
Win 98 does support USB and you don´t need a special driver or the xda. You only need activesync . You can get a free copy of it directly from M$, or use the cd shipped with the xda...

if you by std mean 100% pure then nowhere
roms have to be made for a device and the only ones who make them
are htc and they only provide the roms for the operators who mess with their extened rom

Hi actually u can just log in XDA (malaysia website) there have the ori 2003 version under support link(but u need sign in as registed user)

Xda II is already running on WM2003. I suppose you mean Wm2003 SE (Second Edition)?

i know got windows 2003se n i install it to test already, but not very stable n found out a lot of problem. Standard windows 2003 more stable n more faster than windows 2003se so that i wan to downgrade back to original windows 2003.

I need a help for my HTC Hero dual sim phone with Windows Mobile 6.5. Yesterday i install some app's for it and it stop to load windows. I install a ROM that find in a russian site but it is on russian language. Anyone can send me a english ROM for my phone?

If you realy have a HTC Hero you have posted in the wrong section.
HTC Hero (G2) is an Android phone.
I don`t know if there is possibel to load an Windows Mobile image on it.

It is possible. As I say it is a China Clone Dial Sim phone. So this is a not a real HTC Hero so I not post in Hero's section. It is with Windows Mobile 6.5 OS

Just send an email through yourself and add the xap as attachment, or use a xap deployer you can find one on xda, just use the search button.

it will work just fine for you..
