Actually, Its not that complicated bro,.
All we have to do is only change the registry keys into this,.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\State\Phone]
"Current Operator Name"="(Your desired name)"
and its done,.

And it worked ... for a little while, then after a minute it snapped back to "T-mobile"... strange.

well, in the personalizer2 it happen sometime as well after a soft reset. without changing nor touching anything it will automatically revert back to the desired name you have chosen.
Is there a way to keep the name changed even after a soft reset?

Well as I can see from my unit, it does sometimes revert back to it's original network operator name once you have done a soft reset.
No need to run personalizer again(not install), it will be back to the device name you have entered after sometime(sorry I didn't take a measurement of exactly how long will it take but it will really display what you have entered in the device name).

Another thing I've noticed: If u'll use special characters, it won't change to the original name.

try to toggle phone off/on in wireless manager. It should appear correctly in any today screen. It shows fine even in my S2U
yeah im having that problem too it changes in dialer and on s2u2 but not on today screen ive tried soft reset and switching to airplane mode but still nothing im using a mogul does that matter any even still this program rocks

It has HTC Home plugin, BatteryStatus installed. Third one I'm not too sure. I think it is Resco Today Plugin.

Basically, you can now turn off your signal light, make it flash blue instead of green, or whatever you wish. So far it's been tested on the titan and the kaiser, but should work on any device that uses ALLLEDMGR. nueLED renames allledmgr to LED2: and names itself LED1:. Please let me know if it works/doesn't work on your device.
Settings are stored in the registry, -1 means active and -2 means inactive, any other number is a redirect. To figure out new addresses, use diagnostic mode in settings.
Heres a short tutorial on how to make your signal LED flash blue:
Select the signal led from the list. It has address 8, mode 1.
Select the option "Redirect to LED Address", and select bluetooth LED.
Soft-Reset your device.
Your signal LED should now be blue!
If you use the cab version and decide to remove it, you need to set
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\AllLEDMgr]
"Index"=dword:1
and perorm a soft reset to re-enable the old led driver. Also delete the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\nueLED] key.

Stroths has provided a cab version for your convenience.
A program to help you control your leds, nueLEDControl is also included. The syntax is relatively simple, i.e. nueLEDControl "address" "mode".

hmmm ... did you set 34 to redirect to 32? ... It will only cause the blue led to flash, not stay lit.
Also, diagnostic mode is not working in v1.1, I am updating that right now, 1.2 will fix the problem.

sorry about your leds, you just need to set the registry setting

yes, there is a way, however a bug is preventing the diagnostic mode from working - 1.2 will fix that... should be released real soon.

if nothing has changed it just means the led addresses are different most likely, the redirection is working.
i posted a new version, but a cab is not yet available yet, you'll have to wait for stroths to update.

see the first post, change the registry if you install via cab. someone else reported that it was working on the touch.

I changed the singal LED with the Bluetooth LED.
Do you know a possibility to change the blink interval?
I want the blue LED as Signal (i got now) and instandly blue if bluetooth is on.

I like that it goes straight to programs..... Note I am still with my elfin on WM6.5 Rom..... I hope that later we can change the menue setup to look like WM6.5 and not HTC's menu.
One thing I hated was that I did not have my recent programs anymore but I got used to it after I adjusted my most used to the top.

I just thought of something. Not sure if the above post will work exactly but it is a nice find. +1 Wardy.
But my thought was that it probably is just a Registry edit.... I guess.... I'm by no means and expert at any of this. But mebe browse around the registry and see if anything gives a hint as to the start bar. Then try to disable it. It will take time hunting fo it but mebe there is an edit you can do. IDK.

the alternative i use is quickmenu
you can keep the present start menu going to programs immediately pressing the word start.
and you have a drop down menu if you press the flag.

Edit: I found this while google searching the TD2 in news. Just install the CAB and the registry hacks will be done for you. Soft reset and go.

Thankyouverymuch for the link good sir.
Just installed on my Elfin with Onyx 6.5 Rom. I can verify that it definitly works. Hit the flag and you get the old type menue.... Hit the Start and the 6.5 Programs menue is launched.
Only problem I see so far is that the start menu could be larger for finger press but I am a pro at typing on the MS keyoard so no problem for me.
Also my taskbar was replaced by their battery status. Need to find a way to disable that.
Note again that this is on my Elfin. I will be installing when my D2 comes in.
Could somebody try it out and give feedback on thier D2?
EDIT ON MY COMPLAINTS
I disabled quickmenu's battery status and went to settings/system/taskmanager and re-enabled TaskMan in start menu. So an easy fix.
I'd like to do the opposite. Have the proprietary start menu available with TF3D NOT active. Is this possible?

But, I do have one suggestion, could you make it such that the profiles are as sliding pages, instead of in a dialog box? That way we would slide to select a profile and tap to activate it.

if you run "volume.exe" from "Program Files\CVolume" it will show keyboard,but I don't know how to show keyboard without this, for now,if some one can help will be great

that when you change to vibrate or silent, the top windows icon stay the same (the white icon on top bar) & does not show that now it is changed to silent or vibration

I wonder if maybe it has something to do with the fact it says qvga only on the first post, meaning that the icons are qvga size, which would be a quarter of the sizeyou want foryour vga device.

Thanks, got it! But somehow it doesn't seem to work. Long pressing the power button now does nothing at all (it seems to try to load something but nothing happens) :-(

well it works fine on my elfin and my frnd's diamond. it'll ask u to reset. and after reset it done.

worked on my TP2 (wm6.1) but the right softkey cab did not seem to assign, bluetooth toggle crashes when pressed (togglebth.exe)..
Edit : used Advance Config to map left soft key...

when ever u do a hard reset, donot install anything else except this action screen and then see if bt crashes or not. it might be conflicting with other applications that u installed.

It does not work on my HD2 with original O2 ROM.
Maybe i will therefor ask some stupid questions.
Can it be adjusted to count only outgoing calls?
is it possible to give some restrictions like only complete minutes?
Can it also count and display sent-sms?
Is it possible to count 2 different sims, I think here about dual sim.

Yes, its ok, but after rom installed you must run ussd.exe with parametr -setdefualt

No, it isn`t. Because this app supports profiles for diffrent sims, and creates registry entries based on the IMSI.

yes, it is. When the phone is out of the coverage or radio is off the "!" symbol will be shown before the main text

So if I add "ussd.exe" -setdefault to the customization progress this will work even when the radio is off? Do I get this right?

Totally agree!
I'm happy to see someone from Russia translating some applications.
They have a lot of good software and "Google translate" doesn't works always for me when i'm visiting their forums...
