why? what triggered this problem? when i send a text/sms message it just stays at outbox. and it sucks. i got it fixed couple of days ago bye reseting like two or three times in a row. now its not helping..

Why don't you ask support from the thread where you got the ROM? since not all of us are using it, you may get results and feedbacks from other users there. posting or starting a new thread is not the solution to your problem.
Kindly read proper posting or starting a new thread.
i've had the same problem and did post in the respective ROM forum, but received no reply. i uninstalled most of the programs that were in the ROM and then i was able to send and receive texts. this is probably not a good long term solution, though. but i hope kumara's latest rom with windows 6.1 should solve it.

That is why you need to post it in the correct thread so that the ROM cooker would know if there are bugs in his ROM. He can then identify the problem and fix it or share ideas with other users who fix it. Just give good-ol-Garmin some time He may be busy at the moment, or even looking for the solution as we speak

1st. check with your 02 sms plus,.
2nd. hard reset, AND DONT INSTALL ANY APPS!!! (does the problem persist???)
3rd. install all your apps, one by one, and reset after installing one apps, then try SMS (does the problem persist?) if yes, means that it caused by your apps,.

i tried step 1,
i was succesful in sending an sms.
then i uninstalled o2 sms plus, i was able to send and recieve message with the stock messaging application.

could you suggest an alternative prog / app that is COMPATIBLE with your kumara touch that is like o2 sms plus? i need the scheduled sms sending feature of o2 sms plus thats why i tried installing it.?
why you can not received sms or text messages check your message service center number because some times message service number is not right and than you will not received text message.

Im using Omega Reds 1.2 Wm2003se now for a while but every SMS is send twice to the one I send it to. The problem is alsow that it come twice on the bill to.
Does someone know if there is a fix for this or can someone tell me where I can download a version of WM2003se wich doesnt have this problem.

the problem is not! 2003SE but if you use pocketplus and have it set to close programs insted of minimize it
and close outlook before it show msg sendt icon
then outlook goes crazy

i ever had a same problem too,i use wm2003 se and spb pocket plus.the solutions in the menu x close button-exception-add tmail.exe that you can find in windows folder,do same thing maybe help

My first time for posting as you all seem to always post my answers and questions for me. Thanks.
However!
A few days after receiving it I upgraded my UK T-mobile Ameo to TMobile WM6 which is excellent especially with RealVGA (thanks to all the posts on here!).
Every few days I have to do a hard reset as the machine periodically messes up.
Even though my today page tells me I have x emails in email account "fred" and y emails in account "John", when I try to go in it seems my accounts are all lost! So "Fred" and "John" are not there. I have found no way to sort this. I then have to setup the account with a new email name as the old one is in use!
I do not use any backup utilities so they cannot be to blame. And I will have gone from successfully using the email in the morning, a single phone call and then loose email access. This can often be preceeded by me loosing access to all communications including activesync, web access (of course WM6 WIFI does not work correctly with WPA-PSK so I never use WIFI)
I am very tired of re-installing everything and do not use any of the SPB apps as they have always locked up this device.
Any clues anyone? If not how can I get the original FlashRom so I can send back on warranty?

How about the mailAccountRepair.exe?May I run the program every time when I miss the account or only one time ?

Glad people are liking it so far. Have noticed a lot of downloads so fingers crossed some responses soon.
TF3D is basic of basic. I didn't include the HTC Home, I don't use it now the WM6.5 interface is improved. I also found that it killed battery life. I did include the HTC dialler, volume controls, task manager and gestures. The camera is also included.
Yes it does mean your 6.1 Serra can be on to 6.5 now. I have run it on my Serra for one week now. Battery is fantastic, up to 3 days with normal use. No issues found so far!
Looking forward to hearing back from you all. I'll make any mods people request.

Try going to Settings - Input and changing to full Qwerty. That's the HTC Touch Pro keyboard. Much better finger wise. SMS issue also gone which means the auto input using the HTC one works.
I'll get some screen shots tomorrow including using TaskFacade. Post tomorrow evening.

Also do you need to a HardSPL reset first? When I try doing a HardSPL reset it says it cannot connect to my PDA. Im using Activsync and the phone is Syned up.

I have the same problems but winth EnergyROM v3. I think all these ROM are the same..

2 ask in another forum as forwarding of sms's would likely be a general wm thing rather then a spec wallaby thing

But the forwarding of sms is one!
I have found some programs that can do automatic sms forwarding, but the problem is that they don't work with WM2003 or PPC2002 (the two OS for Wallaby).
Now i'm searching for a program that works on WM2003 or PPC2002!
I know that this device is very old, but i only want that this device forwards my calls and sms! So this device would be the whole time in the cradle. And i would use another device "Samsung Omnia" for working with it. So i think it would be a little bit to expensive to buy a new device only for being in the cradle and forwarding sms and calls!
I hope you know what i mean!

i've not seen any .net sdk code that can handle sms for wm02/3, just the pocketoutlook for wm5/6.
i could be missing it, but goodchance you're going to be out of luck.

I bought txtForward. It forwards incoming text messages (with an option for outgoing as well) to an email address. So, since all my "phones" have at least exchange/active sync support, i get my text messages delivered to my email that i am always connected to. Good enough.
I am having an issue with my HTC Touch Pro. I have the setup listed below and I am having a problem pulling up e-mail. My MMS works great. Arcsoft checks the email servers on time and I see e-mails in my inbox. The interface between Manilla and Arcsoft works OK too. As a matter of fact the preview in Manilla works. HOWEVER, when I open Arcsoft and set it to either Gmail or Yahoo and try to open a message from my inbox, I get nothing. It stays in the same inbox window. In fact it slightly freezes up and I forced to close out the application by the "x" or sometimes using the home hardware key. I have searched on the forums and on Google and I can't find anything. (Maybe I am not search for the correct terms?) Anyway, all help would be appreciated. This is actually the most stable setup I've had to date, so I would like to keep it. (FYI, my reason for being on WM 6.1 is my corporate software Goodlink is not happy on cooked WM 6.5 versions.)

This is what I used to get SPRINT to work... you need the old ARCSOFT... install the cab with the #1 and then soft reset, then install the second cab and soft reset again, this should also allow you to mms is you dont have it... sorry, this worked for me but I am running winmo 6.5.5 build 23544...

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think I could use that version with the newer TouchFlo. I guess I will give it a try.
So your version didn't work for me either. The issue is not with the MMS but the e-mail. It just will not open up the message.
FYI, the problem is solved. I removed this cab "HTC Message_Enhancement_1_1_19173323_04" and the issue cleared up.
