I have the Tmobile Comet or Hauwei U8150. I have AT&T... So was wondering if anyone who has Tmobile be willing to call Tmobile and get the unlock code for me? It would seriously be soooo greatly appreciated. I dont know anyone with tmobile and since the phone is so new the only unlocker I could find on ebay is like $35.
I even got a prepaid account with tmobile thinking I could unlock it once a tmobile customer but then found out you have to be with them at least 60 days before being able to get an unlock code =(
So if anyonewould be willing to do that for me then I will let u know my IMEI and I would honestly appreciate A LOT
Or if someone can let me know any other way to unlock this phone PLEASE let me know!

Confirm USB drivers are loaded properly
Assuming your phone is already rooted before attempting unlock? I used SuperOneClick v1.5.5 on my U8150 T-Mobile Comet. I bought my phone off contract so it came unlocked. Use the troubleshooting section in the following link to make sure your drivers are loading correctly.

Try using the USB port on the back of your machine, as opposed to the front. Leave the cord connected to the phone while it is off and then start it. If the drivers are loaded successfully, you will see Comet in your USB tray app, and it will not be greyed out.
t-mobile prepaid is it unlocked
Guys please help . I am planning to buy a T-mobile comet prepaid phone and wanted to know whether it comes sim locked or not. As I will be in US only for a short duration it doesnt make sense to buy if its locked to t-mobile usa.

Off contract and using my pay as you go (no data) TMobile SIM. Minutes are good for a year. Did discover it *is* carrier locked to TMobile. My bad. Now looking for a free way to unlock.

I'm trying to get my BNIB tmobile comet prepaid unlocked, I called tmobile 3 times, they told me three conflicting things, none of which helped, and I called Huawei Head Office in Texas and they couldnt help either, I was given this for christmas, and now I'm stressed out beyond belief trying to get this phone working, can somebody please call tmobile with my IMEI and get me a code?
I'm really poor and dont have credit card/paypal so I can't use one of those sites, I tried going to 6 unlocking shops here in Toronto, Canada and NOBODY could do it.
PLEASE HELP???!!! I tried DC unlocker and it couldnt detect it.
tmobile will unlock the phones if you are with them for 3 months (prepaid or postpaid).
Other option is to find someone who already has a tmobile phone. tmobile gives out one unlock code per line every 3 months. (the phone doesn't have to be used on that line)

well since u already have a prepaid account u can just call tmobile and request for ur unlock code just have ur imei # at hand and they will send it to u via email in like two days tops

HELLO ALL....this is my firs message...hope my english is not that bad.I have a dell streak 5 with a Big problem...It has a no service with all the sim cards and all the networks on my country...does not acces the sim at all..like it does not exists.I live in Romania so non of my carriers work....so i will give u guys some details :
-the tablet/phone has android 2.3.3 baseband: GAUSB1A1406214-US ,kernel : 2.6.35.7-perf ,it has the olleh rom .I just get this tablet/phone this way...i didnt know it will not see my SIM.I ve tried to restore factorry seting and i could but the same problem NO SIGNAL...is there any option for me ? like getting to 2.2 ...and then mabe it will be ok ? or can it be the problem with 8 pin connector on sim card...i ve so that answer at some guy...in my country all sim cards has 6 pin conection sistem...so i beg u guys help me...any iddea that will be realistic i will enbrace it...hope soon some one will help me or make me understand what is the tablet/phone problem...because a tablet without 3g ...its 0...
I don't know alot about locked vs unlocked phones, but that may be one possibility. I know my Dell Streak is locked to AT&T's network and will only work with an AT&T sim card. Unlocking a phone is entirely separate from flashing a custom rom though. If this is in fact your problem, you'll either have to get the unlock code from the provider it is locked to, which may or may not be possible since you aren't their customer, or pay for a code through some unlocking service provider. I don't know of any off hand, maybe someone with more knowledge in this area will chime in.

i cant do it with a unlock code because after i put a sim in it the tablet is working dont ask for unlock code ...but it does not see the sim card and it doesent ask for a unlock code...so i wish some1 can save me and send me on the right track...
I did a search for unlocking the Dell streak and found one that did it in fastboot mode. Don't know if it would work or not. You can download their program and run it in demo mode to test if it would work, but they want $29 for an unlock code.

I want to network unlock my E 400 for free.
I have read a lot about rooting and installing the new firmware.
I have install all the software for this.
But all the links for the Firmware is not accessible.( death or some stupid ad ).
I also install the Original LG Firmware program from this web. And I get
unsuccessful connection to server or server returned null string.
I try everything Disable Firewall, turn of anti-virus open ports etc. try to put in the S/N number and IMEI no luck.
Also what I want to know:
I see on the web site ( which I cannot open ) with listed firmware that I need the firmware of the network provider which I want ( lock on T-mobile Croatia I want VIP Croatia -so I can use VIP network ).
Also I cannot access LG official site. Do you have the same problem?
I my comp. is running on windows 7 pro 64 bit.
