Trying To load from sd card - Mogul, XV6800 ROM Development

I tried to install Dcd Titan 2.1.0, It went through the ruu process succesfully, but when phone restarts it gets stuck in black HTC sceen past the Red model numbers. I tryied to use Exit boot loader, but restarted back to the same screen. I tried to connect active sync (all on Xp). tryied to install through RUU again, got an Error264 and recovery process went through there instructions, no luck. Been searching all over XDA sight,
I Have OLIPO 2.4 INSTALLED
Found that I should try Formating SD card to fat32, put 2.17 official in it, renamed to TITIMAG.nhb (OR SOMTHING CLOSE, done right on card).
I HARD RESET, AND IT WENT TO THE LOADING SCREEN AND HAS BEEN THERE FOR AT LEAST A HALF AN HOUR.
WHAT SHOULD I DO??????????
Keep waiting(WHICH I STILL AM)
Or does any one else have some suggestions
I hope this ain't bricked, Please tell its not

DCD's ROM do not include a radio. For the ROM to completely boot, you need to install the new radio ROM, which is mentioned in DCD's ROM threads. There is a thread on here with the 3.27 radio here.

I'm getting the error [262] Update Error.

I was putting my Titan back down to stock so I could enable GPS (I had it working, but it stopped when I activated my Centro to get data back). Anyways, I forgot to unplug and plug back in the USB. Now no matter what I do It's telling me that the ROM Update utility has encountered communication errors with the device. I should also probably mention that I can still get to the boot loader itself. Any ideas?
Flash via sd card method.

How do I do that if I can't get to Windows Mobile to run the nueSPL executable?
Maybe you should have done some reading before you got into this flashing.

I actually did quite a bit of reading before flashing. My problem is that I didn't disconnect the USB cable like I should have when flashing back to the original boot loader. It stopped and now I'm stuck. I tried putting the bootloader the relocker tried to install on the SD card and named it TITAIMG, but it gets stuck at the gray screen saying "loading...". I tried the exitbl but it tells me that it can't find any sessions. I tried running the program again, but I wind up with communication errors. That's why I'm asking for help now, I've tried everything I've found to try...

What carrier do you have? Did you run the "GetBackToStockXV6800"?
What radio, Bootloader are you running?
"I tried putting the bootloader the relocker tried to install" (PLEASE CLAIRIFY).
I think it may be working now. I went back to what drew said about using the SD and I tried the one file I hadn't tried. I had tried all of the .nbh files in the directory (stock radio and bootloader), but not the stock ROM itself. I had assumed that since the program quit halfway through flashing the bootloader hadn't installed properly. It would appear I was wrong. So, thanks for the help, Drew, and thanks for being so willing to help cac2us.

Your welcome,
Have you decided to go with a custom ROM, or are you ready to try PPC Kitchen (BuildOS)?
Keep in mind, if you flash a custom ROM with programs that you later want to update with newer versions, you may not be able to uninstall the original versions.
I'm thinking I'll try PPC kitchen. My biggest problem now is deciding how badly I want windows mobile 6.5. I love the touch friendly GUI and the desktop version of IE, but I'm not able to run TVU or Pandora because they use more memory than I have available.

I found that "ZOOM BROWSER" is quite a hog. And "Titanium" eats more than "SPB Mobile Shell 3".
And with "NueKernel", 6+mb. from the camera is just a soft reset away.
But I mainly load apps that I can't find a cab file for, so when an update comes out, I can just update without re-coocking the ROM.
Enjoy.

Restore stock Rom question

Hey guys, I figure I had better ask this time before I brick my phone because I believe I almost did. I was going to flash Elegancia v5 Final to my phone and I must have misread something and I flashed HSPL 2.08. After I flashed the HSPL I tried flashing the Rom and it got to 1% then stayed there and then errored. I restarted my phone like it said to do and I got the "Rom Update Failed" or whatever it was and with a bootloader screen (reset and volume down) I can get to it but it doesn't recognize the USB, only shows serial. Now from what I've read I believe I can download a stock rom and put it on the SD Card and flash by resetting into the bootloader and that should fix my problem, correct? I'm just unsure on which rom to flash, I don't want to do the wrong one and brick it. Found a bunch on this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=655653) and I'm downloading 2.13.531.1 right now because I saw a video linking to that page saying you needed HSPL 2.08 to flash it, will that flash work with my problem? Or is there another one I should choose.
Found out I wasn't actually doing a hard reset (up AND down volume while turning on or using the reset button) after doing this it would recognize USB (I also removed the Sim & SD because it wouldn't flash from SD), got it to flash using Elegancia v5 Final afterwards. That...was absolutely terrifying haha, maybe I should leave the phone alone fora bit while I'm ahead. Only had it for 4 days and I'm getting way too carried away with testing things on it.
With that said...Core Android here we go.

Help! Broke phone :/

... I knew messing about with ROMS would do this one day..
I Started to flash the 3.14 (I think) update from the HTC site this morning, I realised after I started HSPL would get in the way of that...
SO now it loads to the coloured lines screen, I tried coping a image to the SD card to flash straight from that but I cant get it to search the SD card. All I get when I hold down the power and volume button is a "loading" message for a split second, then nothing else!
Help! Any ideas what I can do now?
Thankyou!
Ok, so I can now get it to read from the SD card that there is a image there - but it just sticks at "loading"
Ideas?

2 Options.
Previous flash has gone wrong, so reflash the rom you was flashing using sd-card (also check on what SPL you are).
Get a goldcard and reflash any other stock rom.
SPL-2.08.0000
Is whats on the screen, previously it said HSPL so I think one of the roms may have been successful enough to change to SPL... But im guessing this is bad now as it wont flash again from the SD card!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=725985&page=7
This updated it to 2.08.HSPL
Im fairly certain Ill be able to flash at least a stock ROM now.
Wanted to ask first, Ill be messing with Andriod and possibly windows 7. Is there anything I should preferably be flashing too? Are there any limits with 2.08HSPL I need to be aware of before I start?
Thanks,

you'll need an updated radio for nand android or wp7 (each has its specifics - see threads).
but what wm rom won't matter, as well, it will be erased
no limits. if you have hspl you can flash any compatible rom, etc.

Phone won't boot past HTC Screen

Hi all,
So my phone won't boot past the white HTC screen. I'm able to boot into recovery, but that's it. I'll go into recovery and try to flash an assortment of ROMs, but it never gets past the HTC screen. It gets to the HTC screen, stays there for 15 seconds or so, then reboots back into the screen.
I'm 1.4 S-OFF. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Twist: When I boot it with the SD card in, it doesn't work.
When I boot it with the SD card out, it doesn't work.
BUT When I boot it with the SD card out, then slide in the SD card while the white HTC screen is on, then it boots. Wtf. Anyone have any ideas?
first thought, did you wipe cache/dalvik/data?
second, GSM or CDMA?
if all else fails just run a RUU to get things back to a functional state

I've tried wiping everything, flashing AOSP ROMs, Sense, all of them. I'm CDMA.
Something else: When I install 4EXT recovery, I can't boot into recovery. It gives me white screen reboots like in the OP. But when I'm on Clockworkmod, I can boot into recovery.
Gonna try a RUU when I get home :\
Did you do anything just before this started happening? For instance, did this problem start immediately after you tried to flash a new rom?
I'd be really interested as to why you were able to get it to boot by putting the SD card in mid-boot. I honestly have no idea if an SD card is required for an android phone to boot (never had a need to try). Are the connections on your SD card, or that port, somehow degraded or dirty?
the card is not needed, all boot relevant info is in the phone itself.
it's unlikely that the problem is in the card slot, I would have to assume that the problem is software related, maybe it's trying to read some data it doesn't have access to? mind you it still wouldn't hurt to try and check the card for errors (an external card reader would come in handy)
ok, just out of curiosity, when you go into CWM and clear: cache then dalvik then cache and data, do u get an error after it's done?
how'd the RUU go?

Thunderbolt will not boot to Rom or recovery.

Well I was running the leaked sense ics build and it was causing my phone to overheat so I decided I would switch back to cm7 for a while, when I when I tried to reboot to recovery it just booted showed a black screen then rebooted back to the rom. So I tried to reinstall the recovery from both rom manger and the bootloader nothing worked. I then noticed that it was hard to get my sd card out and that it was slow to load upon boot, odd but it was still readable by the system and I could get to my files on it. I treid a few other sd cards with the same results. It was then I decided it would be a smart idea to try and flash a ruu to try to just return to stock (but leave the bootloader unlocked). I ended up flashing PG05IMG_no_hboot_2.11.605.19.zip from [HOW TO]return to stock (gingerbread) from revolutionary or normal hboot(11/2/11) - xda-developers Which then lead to my phone not booting to rom or recovery all I can get to is the (still unlocked at least) bootloader.
Any ideas on where to proceed? I attempted to run a ruu exe so I can restore it from a computer in case the problem with sd is why it is failing to flash properly but the one I tried 2.11.605.0_Radio_0.01.78.0802w_3_NV_8K_1.41_9K_1.6 4_release_210841.exe required the phone to be booted to the rom to confirm the current build before flashing a new one. Anyone know of a way around that maybe? Or anything?

It may not work but I've had some luck with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703455 in rooting and unrooting, it may be able to see it and do its thing. I know you said you tried different cards but it might be worth looking into reformatting your card in Windows (FAT32) and trying it with a good radio by itself to get it to boot. Then pull or rename the radio zip off the card and then reinstall the ROM or RUU.
