There are several way to do so. It can't be answered in one simple posting.
If you try to search yourself, if you read in the Develloping and Hacking section, you will find answers. If you run into a specific problem, you search for a thread that relates to your problem. If your problem/question is so unique that no one has mentioned it before, then you start a new thread.
Remember that looking lazy and annoying others isn't a good way to get what you want.

If I am right, he would like to fix blank space between 44.... and GSM words...
To my knowledge this is an English Only forum, I cannot make any sense of what menu that is and what he needs fixed.
For now I am going to close this thread. I suggest trying to post that question in the thread for that specific rom whatever that may be.
Hi All,
iam trying to combine two apk's in one... can anyone suggest a simple approach to this.
My use case is
i write scripts using python for android.
i can package those scripts in apk. however apk if installed on a phone which doesn't have python interpreter ask's user's to download interpretor.
what i want is one monolithic apk which contains python interpretor plus my script.
Note : looked through SL4A forum completely and was not able to find any satisfactory answer.
so is this possible or not?

Moving to Q&A
This blog post seems to detail the process of packaging a python script along with the interpreter: http://jokar-johnk.blogspot.co.uk/2011/02/how-to-make-android-app-with-sl4a.html
EDIT: At least, I think it does. I haven't fully read it, more skimmed it.
I was thinking of teaching myself how to cook WP7 for Leo. Ive looked through the HD2 section and the WP7 section. I got myself the kitchen and some basic instuructions, but i have a few questions.
1) where are the langugage files and how can i add/delete language abilities?
2) I can make the default.hvm file and user.hvm file, but how do i open them to edit things?
3) If i screw up cooking my ROM and test it on my HD2, will it brick the phone?
I really dont want to release something, that doesnt work, so if anyone could help me, that would be great!

Just for starters, have a look at Yuki's Great tut on cooking WP7, which i believe you already have.
now the questions,
1) i dont know much about this, but usually on x86 platform microsoft has ttf fonts for languages which are linked to system language preference using registry database.
2) they are registry hives, use any registry hive editor from google (works for me)
3) Nope, HSPL protects user from bad flashes in bootloader, MAGLDR protects HSPL by doing flash work in userspace. so if you flash a bad image, power goes off during flash using MAGLDR and DWI, only the data on NAND will be corrupt, you can still boot into HSPL bootloader and MAGLDR and next time you flash a good image, that will boot as well. (you will have to format/clean the partitions ofc if using Android)
Although this is a dev section its not for asking questions, do that in the Q&A forum.
The only posts here should be dev releases/projects/reference etc.
What do you think this section would look like if everybody was allowed to just post questions?? Thats the whole reason the Q&A forums were created in first place.
sorry TheATHEiST, my bad. ill remember that from now on.
@Rick_1995. Thanks for that! should get me started!

The .hvm files are actually editable in any text editor, as I found out. Just don't forget to convert them back to .hv files like I did.
Can someone point me in the direction of how to create a custom ROM for the ATRIX? I heard that Kitchen Sink would be good to use, but I have yet to find a detailed tutorial on how to create your own ROM for the ATRIX.

I found a few sites, but none of them worked for me. That's why I was curious if someone had put one together as a 1-2-3-4 type style.
EDIT ---
I see that sites some saying to use a GUI while others are saying to do it completely command line in Linux...my Linux skills are 0 - none, so I would prefer a GUI. Is one way better than the other?
