It can probably work with Tornado. Use nbhextract to extract the .nb file. Then use nb2nbf to create an nbf file for Tornado.

It says at the top of page one "select a splachscreen and flash it to your phone" Err.. what splashscreens? There are no attachments ot links in that post!

I have created an ruu_signed.nbh file using tools found in the forums (changeSplashScreen, RIE etc.) that contains splash screen and logo only. If I flash this to my device will I lose any of my data? Since the file doesn't contain os and other .nb files will the rest of my phone and settings remain the same?

I have made a small bug fix release.
There was a problem with display GPRS/G3 Settings if no language file was
selected before.
Very nicely implemented update. I will certainly done=ate to the futherance of this project. Thanks BongoUser.

I use Windows XP. I also downloaded the .CAB and I too always find that installation is always unsuccessful.
I then tried downloading the .EXE, but when I run it on my PC I get a WinRAR error, and it won't run on the Pocket PC. Am I supposed to run it on my PC or on the Vario II?

The CAB seems to be broken. Win CE CAB Manager says "CAB data corrupted".

yes, extracts RUUwrapper & the nbh file in some temp folder located inside documents and setings.

When you flashed the ROM, did you put it into RUU or did you just use the exe file?

Try downloading it again, the file may be corrupt.

New radio (v1.41.00.10) up and running, doesn't appear to be any problems, will report in a couple of days.

See my post in dopod wm6 test rom.
I seem to be making very good progress in dumping the ROM from my Touch Dual. If all goes well, I should be able to upload it for everyone in less than an hour.
ROM Dump
Okay here it is...
You should note the following:
1. The method for dumping the Touch ROM does not work on the Touch Dual so I've had to improvise a bit and I did run into some issues
2. Run this at your own risk. I have not tested it but it's solid. I'm not sure how to test it because I have reason to believe my phone is still CID locked (not sure to be honest)
3. Give me feedback. I have been trying to dump the ROM for the past two weeks and the only way we can know how this went is through feedback

I have a 20 key keypad.
I'm not sure whether the same ROM will work on both of them... I guess we'll have to experiment and found out...

It has the three sided cube- I don't notice any difference between it and the cube on my Touch. What is the four sided cube? I don't believe I've seen that? Is it stock? What phone does it come with? What does the extra side show?

They say that there are dual's with 4 sides of cube.
i'm testing this out right now.
EDIT: Enabled it on my elf sofar the only bugs are that the brn files don't load.

Thanks bram... you were right indeed... It was hidden and I went through the motions and now my 4th side of the cube is working- just need to get some nice icons...
Did you notice anything else about the ROM that is different/special?

I think it shouldn't brick it... If it doesnt work you should be able to flash another one from bootloader but I do not recommend that you try if you don't have a recovery ROM or a backup of yours

1 download from gee.... kitchen or rom version....
2 make it raphimg.nbh or cook it
3 copy onto memory card.
4 "vol left + reset" then press "power" to start flashing...
