PIE will NOT work with cache located on storage card. WM6.1 bug.
no2chem has fixed alot of WM6.1 bugs and helped me alot with my XIP. If not for him,

This rom will ONLY work with an unlocked device. Unlock your device before continuing.
NO radio is included. RADIO 3.27.00 IS NOT COMPATIBLE!!

A device with incorrect radio version will freeze at the first splash screen. Manually enter bootloader (camera+power+reset) to flash the correct radio.

OK, I know this can be done, I have done it!
Packaging it up, I need to convert some of my cabs to toss them in the OEM, I cant find the program I used to do that, I think it was in my old laptop when it self-destructed a hard drive... Anyone have a clue how to get this done?

After flashing this rom I can't establish a data connection.
Here's the "upgrade" path I've taken on my vzw xv6800.
Stock -> Olipro 1.20 -> 1.40.00 radio -> various dcd 1.6.x roms and others -> Olipro 2.40 -> 3.27.00 radio -> various dcd 2.x.x roms and others -> Olipro 1.20 -> 1.40.00 radio -> dcd 1.7.0 rom.
I've never needed an A-Key or had a problem with voice or data after a flash.
The data connection seems to reject any username/password I enter. I've tried using u:<number>@vzw3g.com p:vzw, and leaving both blank and checking "save password", neither work.
I can make/receive calls fine, IOTA seems to work fine.
I've tried flashing a rom with dcd's BuildOS defaults, and one with only a carrier change to vzw, same behavior with both.
I've found one other person that followed the same upgrade path, and has the same problem, in this post.
Any ideas?

OK, got my ROM built and the cab thing worked out. However, my unlock code isnt unlocking my Mogul now.. I'm lost at this point.
DCD 1.7 kitchen, radio 1.40 Sprint
The ##775# doesnt work, Nor do any of the other codes I have. I can't call sprint because I dont have another phone right now. It seems like something is missing...

You have previous data session active from other ROM build. So your account is still logged in on verizon server.
It's like IRC when you get disconnected from internet, then reconnect and login to IRC and see your previous name is still in the channels. You need to wait a bit for it to "timeout".
Have to either call verizon and have them kick off the ghost, or turn off your phone, take the battery out, and wait about 20 minute.

First off, thank you for putting this out. I had been trying to build my own 2.x base WM 6.1 ROM, but didn't have much luck. Yours seems to work very well.
Is this a 2.14 base? I built a custom rom in the kitchen and when it boots up it has "D 2.14" rather than 2.17.
I also noticed that this build is very good at reclaiming RAM. I get about 23mb free on boot. I opened tons of apps to get it down to about 7mb and then closed them all and Oxios got me back to 22mb.

I have had to reprogram my device every time I go from radio 3.27.00->1.xx.xx
I would suggest you call VZW and play dumb and they should walk you thru whatever needs reprogramming.

I happenned to have a dumped 2.14 XIP handy when I decided to make the 19199 XIP and I am that lazy so it went into 2.14. OEM however is from 2.17.

I think initvmmap and loadhigh additions to XIP in 19199 are doing this for us.

Great to learn, that's useful info. Called vzw and played dumb, they "reprovisioned" my data, data's working great again.
