Hi Guys
When will we see the wm5 rom up again. I have requested from few guys here for the wm2k5_106a. Rob Pennington denied me and even doubted me afraid that I'm someone tracking him.
I looked around ftp search engines and torrents to no vail. P2P too slow and two days I've got only 50kb.One guy care to send me but it was corrupted. I itched to test the latest wm5.
Anybody can do the favour of sending it to me personally? Very much appreciated.

Finally... a good news after a couple of weeks mourning :!:
In fact I'm back to WM2K3 SE since the 'best thing' in the forum got shutdown.
I miss the Friday upgrade announcements, the download from the FTP & the weekend resets on my device. Hope the FUN begins again & soon.

My latest rom is the Coffie rom and I'm working on a new rom.. But I do not have so much time for cooking roms as I use to have... now I only have some few hours during the weekends... and I have had quite a lot of problems with WM6.1 and everytime I've solved one problem the next bug pops up.. and I have to wait one week to have time to fix it

Hi guys i know that it is possible to overclock a rom without external software. Does anyone of you guys know wich files need to be edited or hexchanged in order to clock the prophet by default higher ?
use batterystatus to overclock ur prophet
i dont wanna use ****ing batterystatus software and that was exactlky not my question.

Dude - calm down, Wanwarlock was just trying to assist... maybe you should do a search on the forum... or read - rather than such a response
You could try pming the guy that wrote battery status to see if he can assist you (I'm assuming battery status tweaks the settings rather than OCing directly)

When you get any basic people skills I might be more inclined to care about your opinion.
If my ROM sucks, you don't have to use it. Maybe you should try cooking a ROM? And then we can criticise you randomly and with no justification at all.

I could be entirely wrong about this, but it could be due to the fact that the volunteers that spend their own time to cook and mod ROMs do so with no real expectation in return... they do it for fun, experience (and the occasional gratuity) and share their work with us. If you read through this forum, you might see that people are at a minimum cordial to one another - critique of someone's work is one thing and appreciated, but insulting and debasing comments only affect our impression of you - and doesn't really incline anyone to assist.

no. nobody is forced to do so & it will be always as freeware. There are a lot of better ROM out there & even u can make it urself. A paid things will have a price. Mine is enough if u show a very tiny appreciation to my little effort.
It a kind of pointless of countless sleepless hours to serve someone who dont even need it.

Even though most input to a thread is typically provided by the topic starter/chef, I'd like to think we all put our collective knowledge into it.

@Premo: Great stuff It is really helpful guide. The start button was having some issues and was not working properly. I could open the GENE handset and clean it up. Working great
Would be great guide for people who face minor issues and the device needs minor cleaning/servicing. Gene users hould download a copy and store it for reference.
But be careful else you may end up damaging your GENE
