it does bring up a good topic though: the wiki
go check out the kaiser wiki... check out the wiki for alex's roms... the documentation is unbelievable. we need to work towards this for titan. i do not have time to do it from scratch... people need to start building the titan wiki and i will edit/contribute all i can.

Ok, I took the hint and restructured the Titan Wiki to begin to make it more useful for the people here. If you have thoughts on how to improve it, let me know, there is still considerable development and information to add. Or you can update it yourself, its not too hard.
More updates to the Wiki
Added a Kitchen tutorial page and updated several others. Hyins and dinominant have also contributed. Thanks, lets keep the ball rolling.
Rschell, great idea to compile all the necessary info but would it be to much to ask for a link to these new additions?
Thanks in Advance.
beat me to it. lol
I edited an htc mogul wiki...but i dont think it's the same one. hah

Hey everybody,
for some reasons I got big problems with reimporting my old contacts to WM6. So, now I need to downgrade my Trion to WM5 in order to export them in some other way.
But it seems there is no wm5-cab available on the net anymore. My only hope: Does anybody still got a wm5-cab floating around which he could upload for me?
Help is very welcome! Thx
OK, so without getting into details and insults, there are a couple things about your post that lead me to believe that you lack some of the basic knowledge / experience you will need to do this.
SO, see THIS LINK for your WM5 ROMs (note that they will not be cab files).
AND, I strongly suggest you see THIS LINK for downgrade flashing instructions.
thx todd,
don't worry about insulting me, because you're absolutely right: I do have some basic knowledge about PPCs, but I totally lack the experience of any downgrading or stuff like that.
I'm very grateful for you reply and I will carefully read the instructions. hopefully it will all go well...
thanks a lot!!!
Oh Boy!!!!
We should have a Hall Of Fame for posts .... this would be tops!!!
cool....
I figured out how I bricked my Athena. I used the wrong unlocker version.... I downloaded it out of the "Official Athena File Library" thread, It's still linked to the original version.
I'm going to try V3 when my replacement gets here, I just can't help myself
I'm certainly not blaming this on anyone else but I think that the link should be fixed considering the name of the thread. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only mornon on the internet.
Thanks for all your work Oli.
There seems to be a lack of one central location for files and radios. ie , I'v been searching for the last few days on google and yh and still haven't really found any cooked roms that would have it all. Considering that donations are a big part I do not see how someone who bricked their device due to "incorrect" file linking would donate
hmm this gives me ideas. i guess i better talk with ltxda....
Are you thinking about banning morons?

thank you lots for letting us know. i contacted the person who started the thread (part of the athena project), he's removed the megaupload link.
until your post, we've been clueless as to why so many people keep bricking their athenas.
once again, THANKS
OK, just to make sure. I have a standart X7500 with the official WM6 ROM.
Will the unlocker from the first post here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=315831
Where it says "click here to download" work with my device?
Can someone post the correct unlocker? I'm rather confused with the files and threads floating around, so with any other newbie. Although I've been flashing past devices with cooked ROM, it is only here that I am having trouble understanding the instructions in flashing or unlocking.

i don't see where the confusion comes from, wouldn't you think the official thread for the unlocker is the one that has the right file posted by its developer.
you would, but people are morons.

Quite true but after reading all the stuff about athenas bricking. You will be confused and will not know which file to download and install. It was good that this particular thread was posted. At least there were some forum members who were kind enough to upload the correct unlocker they personally used and tested and posted the url in a separate thread. Now, I was able to unlock my athena without confusion or fear that the unlocker that I got will brick my athena.
Well I got my new Advantage and flashed it with the V3. Success! I'm now running Dual and I love it. I'd like to thank everyone who worked on the unlocker and ROM.
For Titan information, links, FAQs, troubleshooting, ROMs, Kitchens, radios, and tutorials, please read through this XDA-Wiki before posting for help on the forum.
Rather than rushing to post a new thread and then wait....you may solve problems more quickly by reading our recorded solutions to common issues, links to required files, and have guides to follow that have been compiled and edited by many of us.
Many of us update our Wiki regularly for all of our benefit!
Enjoy!
DCD has nicely added a Wiki page for his ROMs, and I've changed the flashing instructions for the Titan Windows Mobile 6.0 or 6.1 with GPS page... Hopefully those instructions are clear and accurate -- wasn't in the clearest mind to do it.
gc14 has added a Titan Bootsplash Cooking Tutorial to the Wiki!
I've finally got around to updating the Titan Stock and Titan Cooked ROM pages to reflect No2Chem's nueSPL, current official ROM links, updated radios, page formattings, etc.. As always, I appreciate any proof reading, corrections, additions, etc..!
I've updated the links to all the available Radio ROMs I could find to point directly to the file. I also added an FAQ entry for the latest Verizon ROM.
I hope it's ok... but the "nueSPL-Relocker.exe file" link on the Titan Stock Wiki was pointing to the nueSPL unlocker. I updated the link.
Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place. I'm pretty much a noob to the whole rom building area. My main problem is reorganizing the Oem and Sys folders from a stock rom. I know i could easily load someone elses Oem or sys that is already organized, but the takes all the fun out of it. So basically if anyone can give me a decent and detailed way, or point me in the right direction of doing this would be very much appreciated and helpful. I have already searched xda, ppc, and the web for such info and could find none.
thanks for your help.
P.S. Just got my Posting Cherry POPPed.

Thanks for the reply....yet i own a cdma touch pro. Now i have roms and kitchens from all over these sites... I've tried just about everything. I've gotten to the point where i just wanna make my own rom from scratch.. So all I'm looking for here is just some type of help on organizing the OEM folder. Just mainly get all the stock applications into their own modules. Thanks tho.
Have you looked at http://www.ppcgeeks.com/ ? There tends to be more CDMA activity over there than here.
Cheers,
Actually I have, I'm Always on these two sites and i know ppc is more for the whole cdma phones. I've always been a little more comfortable here...If that's alright with you folks. Plus I've found this site to be a lil more informative at times.
Just wanted to make sure you were informed since you're looking at building your own ROM and own a CDMA device ... last thing I'm sure you want to do is build a ROM that would brick your device.

I'm certain this question has been posted a few thousand times. But I just got an HD2 again. I've been away from this scene for about 10 months. I was here for the beginning of the SD card integration Android when things didn't work well. I'm back with a HD2 I got from a friend. It has windows mobile 6.5. And I don't even know where to began to get Android on this phone. Here's the info that may help me get pointed in the right direction.
OS version 5.2.21913
Manila version 2.5.201814240
Rom version 3.14.531.1
Radio version 2.15.50.14
That's what's on the phone currently. I tried follow a few threads but they all turned out to be a dead end until I change my SPL version. If anyone can at least get me on the right track so I can at least make some progress that would be great.

So why did you ask again and not read the answers that was given before?
There is plenty of answers, stickies, guides for you to read, no need to create new topic. You will get your info more efficiently by looking for it

Can people please stop just saying "the answer is out there", and actually post links to help future readers? Posts like that are as redundant as a duplicate thread. If you don't have anything constructive to say, please don't say anything.

I agree with you on that.
This is what I did to fix my issue so if someone else had the same problem they can hopefully find the right answers.
My issues was having SPL 2.10.000 on my phone.
I needed to install 2.08.000.
All i needed was to download HSPL3 and then follow the apps prompts and when the options for 2.08.000 SPL or 2.08.000 came up.
I chose the 2.08.000 SPL and it changed my SPL to 2.08.000.
That allowed me to follow DFT tutorial for installing android.
Otherwise it wouldn't allow me to progress forward with my old SPL 2.10.000
Here's the links I followed.
For HARDSPL info:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477
For DFT Android info:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893620
or
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893620
Here's a Youtube video showing you the steps to install DFT's android after you have the correct SPL insalled.

Because its easier to point out to look for it then it is to actually do teh work for them and find it.
It will be better for the OP's in the long run if they learn to look and find the information they want/need instead of posting questions and relying on others. As teh OP stated he foudn what he was looking for and probably learned something in process of doing so.
The best way to learn all the processes is to do research and not to simply create a topic every time they want info.

It still does not help the forum in the slightest. If you have nothing constructive to say then you really shouldn't say anything.
Think about this... If it hadn't been for my comment about unhelpful responses, the OP may never have posted his findings, so you could at least think about encouraging them to do that in the future.
Now, if someone finds this thread through a search they'll find some solid information, not just someone saying "search the forum".
I think we want the same thing here - an easy to use forum where people can find answers easily
For NAND Android you need 2.08.HSPL not 2.08.0000
Run HSPL3 and select 2.08.HSPL
Make sure that the RADIO on the phone is 2.08.50.xx or any .50 above.
With regard to your friend's phone, if they want to do the same, then they have to flash the phone with an 2.08 or 2.10 ROM, as this will bring the SPL down to where HSPL can be run. HSPL doesn't work with SPL 3.03 (which comes with the 3.14 ROM).
