Can anyone please tell me how to force roaming so the connection looks at other company towers to inprove internet speeds?

I use automatic A to get EVDO service on Alltel's network b/c Sprint doesn't have EVDO where i'm at. Hell, I don't even know the difference b/w auto A and auto B. Anybody?
Anyways, Is there a mortscript or toggler that anybody has to do this easily? I've seen something like this on the titan forum before on XDA. The reason I ask is b/c I installed Iconsoft's Phonex and I lost the settings to change roaming. Pretty wack.

I'm having trouble getting my 3g to run like it says... If I choose cdma only I am able to get 1x only but I still haven't even seen the 3g icon and I would like to use 3g when the speeds sent necessary
Has anyone else come across this problem? Or have any ideas for me to try

So yesterday I followed these instructions to fix up my internet speed...
Everything was fine most of the day but then somehow I lost all data in the evening.
I'm 99% sure its due to some kind of phone setting issue, because if I try and access internet services it fails literally the nanosecond I try and access - suggesting its not even trying to talk to the network.
Could someone please help and advise of all the exact settings I should have set up in the "Wireless and Network" section , particularly for "Mobile Networks", "Use Packet data" and "APN"?
or if anyone knows why my net would be failing as it is, that would be a great help!

Hello everybody. After I moved from android 2.3.5 to 4.2.2 my phone stopped searching 3g. In only 3g mode there is no connection to my operator and any other network. Can someone help me to solve this?

Try to manually add the apns of your provider in the settings.

It was already done. MMS is working, Edge is working. 3g is not working. My friend has Sensation XL with the same operator and at his phone 3g works well. So the problem is in newer radiomodule or in newer android or I'm handass and done something wrong). Wifi works good and network type is Wcdma prefered, but there is, in service meny, type of network is EDGE. Any 3g in any caces.
Ok, thread can be closed, my provider something changing in towers and 3g isnt available for this moment.

Is it possible to Prioritize a Cellular connection over a Wifi connection?
The main reason for this question is that we are running many Rugged android devices with a PTT application on them and when they connect to a buildings Wi-Fi network it can be congested and cause poor results. So we are looking to have the Android PTT devices connect primarily to Cellular and then when they drop Cellular signal as they head into a basement or a blackspot etc, it will search for a pre-configured Wi-Fi network and then connect it to until the Cellular network is available again.
Pretty much, we would like to know if its possible to get them to work in reverse. Prioritize Cellular over Wi-Fi rather than the default prioritize Wi-FI over Cellular.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
