IM using O2 Atom limited edition <white> upgraded to WM6.1,,,,im having problem to connect with the GPRS....plz help

Yo bro just check under the connection tab in setting. Then make sure you select MAXIS and not MAXIS 3G.
please try this shortcut of autoconfig,
place this auto config inside your memory card,then select it.
try and see.
AUTOCONFIG WILL DONE ALL YOUR GPRS/3G SETTING WITHOUT KNOWLEGE

I am trying to connect to Amena GPRS using my XDA I.
I have pretty much tried any of the parameters given here and I always receive the same error msg:
UNKNOWN APPLICATION.
I am having ROM 3.17.03 ENG with Radion Version 4.08. I have successfully removed the SIM lock and the phone is working well with GSM Amena.
Can anyone help ?
Does anyone know how to configure Atom according to Indian service provider?
My Atom is not Configure with India Service provider. Because of this i m not able to use GPRS with my atom. Even very silly thing like Caller Tunes. I can't hear it. I use BSNL service and if i call on HUTCH or AIRTEL i can't hear ring. So i can't understand that ring is passing or not or out of coverage area etc.

Hey, this is the problem of the service provider BSNL and not of Atom, else u can try upgrade the radio rom of ur device.
no dear.. it's not BSNL prob... you can enter Airtel sim card but the prob is same...
n ya i have upgraded new ROM as well..

About your problem:-- Have you tried to hard reset yr device??? If not then the HD can solve this prob.
About the GPRS and MMS:-- I have the cab file for configuring the settings but for BSNL north zone only. Which zone are you located in??
I had written to O2 about this issue because they released settings for Pakistan and Dubai some time back and I wanted to find out when they do it for India. This is what they replied.

There is an alternative option..since we now can extract the extended ROM and view the cabs.What we can do is delete the unwanted cabs and put our settings cab with GPRS and MMS settings..flash it back so they remain permenantly..
Else the cabs are already there..I can tell the hint..use any of the operator seting cab and edit it with CAB Manager.Change the name, the wap provisioning DOC and save the cab.
In most of the cases Access point name is required...I can put the ones which I know..others can add to it.

What you have mentioned are for GPRS only. figureout the MMS settings also and I can make the installable cab file for you...
Can be compiled..I hv MMS settings..will also check the cabs which I had made long back..and post it here..sorrry in a bit of hurry and nice talking to u shekhar

Have you checked the settings and configurations for both your MMS and Wifi?
MMS - Suggest you use the Network Wizard to setup your MMS-GPRS settings
WiFi - you may need to manually setup the Wifi settings in terms of the Network Key.In other word,manually setup.
What about your Radio Rom version?

Have you entered the GPRS settings manually by hand? Try it, this could help you!

I think on o2 xda neo ROM. GPRS setted for O2 Germany Provider.
The Best way is, You can try to do it manually to set the GPRS.
If is not working. You can upgrade your ROM with new one, which has Network Wizard.
Maybe it works for you.
yes, you have to set it manually if you have changed the rom, make sure you have the proxy settings right (proxy server, HTTP, WAP, Secure Wap and Socks), you can find them in Connections --> Connections --> Advaced...

I have recently been given a Touch Dual as my work phone.
I'm trying to track down a copy of the Telstra Proxy Manager in CAB or exe form to install on the Touch, I don't need all the Icons etc that comes in the V5.2 or V5.5 as they are already on the phone.
So far I have not been able to find a stand alone version on XDA.
Has anybody got a copy of the Telstra Proxy app in cab or exe form that I can install?
