My SPL/IPL is 2.17
Does any one know what happend?
//Louie

Most probably your phone's battery is dead, charge it with wall charger,it won't get charged via usb cable and pc.

Yes i know that. I tried charging the phone 5h in the wall, nothing happends. I tried to to a hard reset and nothing agin. Could it be the battery is totaly dead?

YES ! cud be,but you can try the 'Jump Start' method, when a battery looses or goes below retention charge,it won't get charged,it sometimes requires a 'jump start'.You can try this and check if works out, otherwise get a new battery.

I'm not sure if this is relevent or if to late but I have a kjam g4 and a similar thing happened to me. all I did the was remove the battery and clean the connections and it started ok.

[Q] Please, I really need your help, phone dead as dead can be...

Hi,
Yesterday I was lying on my bed, when suddenly my X10 Mini Pro died . I was just installing some apps, and then it froze for about 3 minutes. Then it shutted down. At first I tried to charge it, but it didn't do anything. The screen didn't even turn on. Then I ran SEUS, didn't work, used the flashtool, didn't work, because it didn't recognize the phone when I plug in the charger while holding the back button...
When I plug my charger in my phone the LED flashes a red light though (like when your battery is low), and after a few minutes the red light stops. When I try to power him up, the red light flashes faster (like it's battery is dead). So I thinkl it's not entirely dead.
Maybe this is a battery issue or something? Maybe my charger broke? Something else?
Please help me, I'm begging you. I can't afford a new phone, I'm broke as hell
heya, from the info you've given I don't reckon it's something obvious that caused this?
gordon's gate should force your pc to recognize your phone so it'll work with SEUS.
just install it, then open it so it says usb id's have been resetted, and connect your phone holding back button.
hope that helps you solve it
No, does not work . Really big thanks anyway.
I ordered a new battery, maybe that will solve the problem. Or is it possible my charging cable is defect or something?

If when your phone crashed battery was still good, then it is your battery. If it just went off because your battery was empty then it can be your charging cable but I doubt it.
judging from the symptoms, i think battery is the most plausible cause as well.
sorry i couldn't help tho

Battery was good when he crashed... It wasn't empty also. I'll let you know if the new battery works once I have it.
Nope, does not work..
Now I'm stuck with an extra 2430 mAh battery and a dead X10 Mini Pro. Hooray. If someone thinks he can help, please reply.
Oh wow, it suddenly worked! I'm a happy person again!

[Q] Phone won't charge!? Suggestions?

Hi Guys!
I have a bit of a problem.
My phone ran out of battery, and when i plugged it in to charge, it shows the battery icon for about 3 seconds, tries to boot up & runs out of power, and it just continues doing this over and over. I left it for a little while and noticed that the top of the phone got very hot (front & back)
I am running CM7 which appeared to be running fine, and one thing to note is that the phone recently almost died but recovered from water damage.
Anyone know whats up and how i fix it?
Thanks!
When you say it had water damage, what happened? Sounds like to me that maybe the problem.
I lost it at a party and it was outside all night, and it rained all night, i dried it for a few days and turned it on and the touchscreen wasnt working. I then sent it off to vodafone and they tried and 'failed' to fix it, but when i got it back i turned it on and it was working fine.
I just plugged it in again and it booted up and is charging whilst booted up... i think it is a software problem... should i try deleting the battery cache or whatever it is?

Is the battery holding a charge? Check in settings - about phone - status.
When you unplug the charger does it turn off straight away?
You can try deleting battery stats if you like, it will do no harm. But I don't think it will help.
Yeah the phone stays on when unplugged and has charged up properly, and its holding charge pretty well.
At least its working but i'm pretty confused as to why its doing this

IT Got wet and something is fried .Probably to do with the charging .
You could and i would wipe the phone and put a stock rom on that will at least rule out software problems .
Try a different charger .

S2 (international) hard bricked itself overnight

Hello there,
yesterday i got my phone back as it should get repaired (which it wasnt as it was not a warranty case) and so i rooted it and reinstalled cm10. all went fine and everything worked as it should.
installed a few apps and sync was all good. no force close or errors in general. During the night I kept it connected to my notebook (in standby) so it gets charged.
Bad surprise: I woke up and it didn't react at all. Black screen. nothing happens when removing the battery putting it back in and plugging in the usb-cable. no touch lights or whatsoever. no recovery, no download mode. just nothing at all.
i do have a wobbly usb port on my phone but yesterday it charged just fine without any interruption. just data mode wont work perfectly (loses connection and connects again) actually it always charges fine. so i dont think it is because of the usb port.
so what shall i do? i didnt use the phone overnight, it wasnt connected in wifi. just idling and now it isnt responding anymore...
hope that somebody can help
cheers

Does anything happen when you charge it with the normal wall charger?
Any way to try with another battery... just to see if the phone is really bricked or maybe there is no juice left in the battery...
also clean out your USB port with a toothbrush.. I had a similar issue with USB connection.. cleaning it out resolved that...

thank you for your tips.
nothing happens with the normal wall charger. trying another battery will be possible tonight and i will report back.
did the cleaning. didnt change anything with not charging but maybe if the phone will boot with the other battery it might have helped ^^
i read the other bricked thread and that was quite disapointing. still have warranty on it so maybe i'll send it directly to samsung rather than amazon.
thanks anyway for your help.
just might be interesting for cm10 users. I mean I did absolutely nothing with it. or maybe it was nand failure. idk

[Q] Weird battery and screen issues

Hey guys and gals
this is my first post here. although a lot here is about rooted devices with custom ROMs, I hope you can help me out - you sure have a lot of expertise here compared to many other forums.
For the past two days I've been running into some of the weirdest problems with my Galaxy S2. Before i go into detail, here is the summary:
1. Screen time-out doesn't work while device is not plugged to a charger or computer
2. Notification shows 100% charge for a very long time (hours after heavy usage)
3. Not sure if charging actually works
4. Booting up seems to fail when not connected to a charger
it started yesterday when I noticed the phone light up and say it was charging. The problem is it wasn't - it was in my pocket.
Then I noticed that the screen didn't time out. I changed the setting, nothing - it remained on. I could push the power to make the screen turn off and on again but it wouldn't time out itself.
The charging info went away... at some point. I left it to charge over night and in the morning it indeed showed 100% in the notification bar. The problem is it remained 100% for A LONG time. In the settings menu under the battery it says it has been running on batter for 0 secs and showed 100% charge. For hours... There were no info about any apps or function using the battery. that part was clear.
Then i discovered that the screen time out problem goes away while connecting the charger or via USB to a PC. Then it times out. As soon as i unplug the charger it never times out....
I'm actually not sure if the charging works. Indeed it shows charging but sometimes it magically reaches 100% rather quickly.
Because I suspected a battery fault I used another battery. let it drain completely and then tried to recharge. Can't - when booting it shows a battery icon with question mark and then goes to show that the battery is 100% charged. Then the question mark and then 100% again. Seems to be in some sort of loop.
I've done the factory reset, I had a new firmware installed via Odin just in case. The problem still remains.
Booting the device seems to be an issue and only work with charger or USB cable attached. Ot it will be in that "what battery" and "100% charge" cycle...
I've searched high and low today but couldn't find anyone with the same problem.
Have any of you an idea? Really down't want to get a new phone! Seems to be a very bad month going on because a few weeks ago I had really serious issues with my brand new hybrid camera which i have to buy ... again! sold it for parts for pocket money....
Any help would be really appreciated! thanks!
That's really strange....try getting out the battery, charge it to max va an external charger,or borrow a friend's Galaxy S2.Leave the phone withou battery for an hour. Then when you put it in,go to recovery, and "wipe battery stats"(Root it if it's not).See if that works.

How long have you had the phone? The usb flex cable has issues over time. A symptom of this is the charging when not connected to the charger.
If it is this issue the part is cheap (around 5$ I believe).

My Galaxy wont charge via PC or Charger

My battery started to drain fast few days ago, i thought it was a software issue(some apps). Yesterday i put it on the charger, as i didnt put it, nothing happend, i thought my charger broke, i put it on PC, same, wont charge, now im thinking the connector broke, u put USB OTG memory stick and it reads it normally, so the port is working, tryed factory reset and reflashing offical stock rom, problem isnt solved, also when the phone is in download mode on charger or pc, and i take out the battery the phone stays on, it takes power directly from the charger(this is normal), witch i think confirms its a battery problem, not a phone. Now, anyone faced this problem also? Have expirience whit this, any advice what should i do (im gona try with new battery but its a weekend, no stores working). Any help, any chance its really a battery problem, not a phone?
EDIT: Also when the battery is in, phone off, put it on charger, the empty battery shows, the grey curcle arrow rolls (battery stats are read), then it shows the battery level for a second, and the circles bellow it instead of zooming in and out in movement, it stays at the first for a seccond and then the display turns off, nothing, no red light also.

Many Galaxy S3 have problems with the charging port and need repair maybe for 20 to 30 bucks.

I hope you are right, i had that problem before, and replaced it, after then im extremely careful and gentle, so i think there are very low chances that thats the problem, i will take it to service later today, its still under warranty
Its probably a faulty battery
I had a faulty cable and man it was horrible
I was on vacations so no shops around, the phone would constantly show charger connected/disconnected and would take ages to charge
