I am trying to install the English ROM on my O2 xda (Touch dual 20 keys German version) mobile.
I run the sspl-1.16-nike.exe application (Step 4), the result was Red, Green, Blue and White screen. The word USB was displayed in the white block. I unplugged and re-plugged the USB cable and the result was the same above screen. I removed and reinstalled the battery
After that I run ROMUpdateUtility.exe from flash-uspi-niki (Step 8), and the result was: ERROR [262] : UPDATE ERROR in the 0% progress screen. I removed and reinstalled the battery
After that I tried to install the following ROMs:
RUU_Nike_ORANGE_UK_1.31.61.10_Radio_Nike_1.58.16.27_signed_Ship.exe
RUU_Nike_HTCASIA_WWE_1.31.707.09_Radio_Nike_1.58.16.27_signed_Ship.exe
The result was Invalid Vendor ID
Could anyone help me on my problem

I have a T-Mobile MDA Vario II and it just seems that flashing is impossible. I am pulling my hair out!
I have searched the forum and cannot see anyone else having had the same problem
I have tried to flash WM6, as provided by T-Mobile and also I have tried to flash Hard-SPL, but get the same problems with both.
First of all, if I try to flash by flashing from the PC, via ActiveSync, it all seems to be fine until it comes to that actual flashing itself. As soon as the flashing process begins, the phone goes to the bootloader and disconnects from ActiveSync, producing an error message in the program on the PC.
I have tried doing it directly on the phone, as described in post 1160 of the Hard-SPL, Or How to Not Brick Your PDA Ever Again And Fix Bad Blocks! thread, but when I reach step 7, where it should go from the tri-color screen to another screen, asking you to press the power button to start, it doesn't happen! The tri-color screen appears, followed, for less than a second, by a screen which says "Loading..." and then it just goes back to the bootloader screen, where it stays until I do a reset.
Anyone got any ideas at all?
CID Unlock the device then try to flash it, make sure battery is fully charged too. Have you tried entering bootloader manually then trying to flash the tmobile rom?
It won't even let me do that!
I have just tried to do this, using pof's free HTC Hermes SIM & CID Unlocker but even that won't work.
Pof's zip file contains 3 methods of doing this. I'll list all 3, with a description of where it goes wrong each time. Perhaps that will make the problem clearer
Easy auto-install Instructions:

1. Unzip unlocker and run AUTO_Unlock_v3a.bat
2. Follow directions on screen
The .bat file starts a program on the PC. It goes OK, until it sends the phone to the boot loader screen. ActiveSync immediately disconnects and an error message comes up on the PC...
ERROR [260]: CONNECTION
The Update Utility cannot connect to your PDA Phone. Please check that your USB cradle/cable is connected properly between the PC and your PDA Phone
Check the following:
1. The PDA Phone is connected to the USB cradle/cable
The USB cradle/cable is connected to the PC
Click 'Exit' to quit
manual instructions:

1. Transfer SSPL/SSPL-HERM.exe to your phone and run it
2. Tri color screen will appear
3. Disable activesync (file -> connection settings -> uncheck "allow USB connections")
4. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB lead.
As long as the Tri-color screen is showing, the PC does not recognise the PDA Phone as being connected, even if the USB is connected
5. run RUU/RUU_HERM_Unlock_v3a.exe
6. follow the flashing process (Check the "I understand..." and "I completed..." boxes and update!)
Rather unsurprisingly, the same error as above appears
7. Allow your phone to reboot.
8. Transfer HERM_Unlock_v3.exe program to your phone and run it
9. Click the Unlock Button, select unlock option. Select if you want SIM/CID unlock.
10. Click "Unlock!" and wait until process finishes.
11. When done, turn off your phone for 10 seconds and reboot after that.
I actually still went through steps 7 to 11 and it all seemed to work, but although it said the PDA Phone was now SuperCID, it wasn't
update using the SD-Card Method:

1. Unrar RUU_HERM_Unlock_v3a.exe
2. Unrar RUU_Inside.exe This file doesn't exist in the zip file
3. Empty (erase the contents) of your microSD card from the Windows Mobile file explorer
or format it from your computer using a card reader (in some cases format doesn't work).
4. Rename HermesUnlocker_v3a.nbh to HERMIMG.nbh and copy it to the FAT32 formatted microSD card.
5. Insert microSD card on your phone
6. Transfer SSPL/SSPL-HERM.exe to your phone and run it
7. Confirm flashing on screen by pressing the power button. Nothing to confirm. The phone simply goes straight to the Tri-color screen and stays there until you do a soft reset
Again, I don't know how much help it is, but if I go to the boot loader screen, via the power, OK and soft resent buttons, I see the following information...

If I run the SSPL-HERM program on the phone, it takes me to the boot loader screen, but with the following info...

Go to bootloader and tell us what your SPL is... If its 2.10 olipro then you have Hard SPL installed. This process is VERY quick so it may have worked and you just didn't notice the change.
As for using the PC & Activesync, if you have Hard SPl, use the sd card method to load new OS's onto your Phone instead as its safer and easier (same as how you loaded Hard SPL except you don't need to run the SSPL program from your device, just put file on card, rename and reset to bootloader.

i made hard reset to my c550. it was working properly only a moment, it turned on only once, then it turned off. after that when I turn it on, it goes to bootloader mode.
it asks if I need IU (I press 0), later on red field is: Hurricane IPL 1.00.18
on green: Hurricane SPL 1.00.100
on blue: Hurricane XIP
I connected the phone to PC to flash new OS with mtty but button "USB" doesn't appear what can i do to flash new OS?
sometimes phone doesn't go to bootloader mode but at first it shows orange logo and then it becomes white. I can't turn the phone on when usb cabel is connected. Phone does'nt turn off when it's connected to PC and I remove baterry.
there are no USB button because you forget to disable USB Connections in ActiveSync

is this normal?

i got the mistake.
was placing the bin file into the root of the SDcard instead of placing it into a folder with the same name so:
instead of writing "c:\romname.bin" the solution was to write "c:romname.bin"

so in the end i did burn wm6_2_2 but apparently the multimedia buttons aren't working... is there a solution?

i just leave it that way (Tahoma) & press Done
- a window appear with text: the changes will be visible only at next startup.
i clicked ok (as this is the only way to continue)
- It says customization will be in 3 secs. It resets by itself.
- the boot process is start all over again from the beginning as continuous looping
after long search of what caused it, i found that i have flashed wrong version of Michyprima's ROM SPL, other words: i used the rom for SPL v3.5 instead of SPL v1.2 version.
Now I do not know how to correct the unit.

i had the same problem before, looping after flashing. but i forgot how i fixed it. tootallk2000 was helping me through the procedure then. maybe he can remember how we fixed it.
Try this step:
1) boot into bootloader mode (push camera and volume all the way down and press reset)
2) Flash any SPL 1.2 rom or stock rom using bootloader mode (untick allow USB connection if activesync unable to detect)
3) done , make sure you only flash SPL 1.2 rom after the unit has been revived
ps : you may also try using SDcard (not SDHC) flashing if unable to connect using activesync. Just rename RUU_signed.nbh to atheimg.nbh and copy into sd card (sdcard must be formatted as fat32). Put sdcard into device and boot into bootloader mode. It will automatically start the process.
pps : if you see there's no ATHE100 on the bootloader screen, then your modelid is corrupted, need to fix it first before you can do any reflash ... plz read post #33 here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=387454&highlight=mtty&page=4

Hi xda community, i need your help.
My HD2 is stuck in boot screen (but the screen is white, no HTC green logo appears).
I can enter boot mode and my PC can connect to phone via USB boot-mode.
But i've tried all of these things, without any result:
1) install HSPL 2.08 (OSPL 2.08 is now installed) -- get critical error flow 0000006 error 0000014 error type: unknown with different PCs and versions (HSPL2,3,4)
2)task 2a with mtty on reversed block -- mtty clears all reversed blocks but no other result, can't flash any rom
3)flash via SD WM 6.5 (shipped rom) from bootloader -- stuck on loading screen
4) flash from ruu WM 6.5 latest ROM and oldest ROMs-- stuck on 0%, with different PCs
5) flash with goldcard -- stuck on loading screen..
NAND analysis seems to be not so bad, only 5 reversed block, starting from block 0 (0x0).
Any suggestion??

I bought a phone that did not work. I was able to fix the mechanical defect
the phone switched on but was blocked by a code.
so I decided to do the system reflash
I downloaded the system and tried to install it according to the instructions
the first time I received an error while flashing "modem.sin"
I downloaded another rom from flashtool
with the next I received an error while flashing "system.sin"
so I downloaded the third version of the system and it was "central europe 1"
but this time I could not get through the flashtool connection
receives an error when trying to connect the phone to the computer
"For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode"
I do everything the same as before so why the phone does not want to connect
-(gren light is on, but its blinking every 2 seconds yellow)
-(i can connect phone via fast boot and blue light is on)
also when i turn on phone logo sony appears but later a message is displayed (screen attached) and phone turning off
i want just flash stock unbranded soft for europe
please help
Try press volume down plus up and power button to reset the phone and try again
seems like BAD flash due to missing drivers
please install from C:\Flashtool\drivers (ALL devices)
Also install https://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/xperia-x-driver/ (if asked)
now flash again!
also make sure you flash CORRECT stockrom and using LATEST falshtool , and REPLACE xflasher JAR files to LATEST if you are flashing Nougat
