My tytn cid is qtek_f08. What operator can it be?
Have spl 1.06 and can't go back to 1.04?
Any idea where to get original rom?

Hi, my TyTn run the South africa rom with the SPL-1.09 and i try to used the superCID unlocker to unlock my CID.
When i lunch the soft it say SUCCEFULL but when i look with mtty with the command "task 32" the TyTn say FF (CID Locked).
Can you help me to unlock my SuperCID ?

If i am correct, only IMEI-CHECK unlocker ver. 4 can make it super cid for BL 1.09
You Need To Downgrade To BL 1.04.
The Tool To Downgrade Is Not On This Forum You Need To Search Google For 'Downgrade_SPL.rar'.
Once You've Done That Then You Can Use The superCID unlocker.
OK Thanks, i downgrade to 1.04 and i lunch the tool but mtty say FF after two reboot.
My bootloader IS 1.04 ans IPL-1.01
Did You Install The Cooked Radio 1.16 That Pof Created First?
Install That And Then Run The superCID unlocker

Because there says this:
If no such rom is available for your device or your bootloader version is 1.09, you can buy the Imei-check unlocker to have bootloader 1.04. The HTC Hermes unlocker from imei-check is able to flash the 1.04 bootloader. It transfers the required files to the Hermes via ActiveSync before actually the unlocking key file with your IMEI is requested. The bootloader is flashed on the device after you enter the valid key file (you have to pay for that).

If is possible to downgrade from 1.09 to 1.04 we need to update the wiki and upload that tool to our ftp, so a beginner knows what to do!!
The Tool Isn't In The Wiki As It Uses A Program From IMEI That They Requested To Be Taken Down As It Belongs To Them. So You Have To Find It Somwhere Else.

I have an X01HT with SPL 1.09,
can I also use this downgrade_spl.rar
to downgrade the X01HT's SPL to 1.04.
Or there is no other way to downgrade
the SPL to 1.04 on japanese Hermes
and unlock the phone.
to all... i have done this and it works.. but i updated my device with the Cingular 2.05 RUU and it flashed my radio with version 1.34 and radio bootloader version 108 which prevents you from flashing POF's patched radio rom to get SuperCID, even if you downgrade your SPL to 1.04 it still will not work... i ill be trying the IMEI-CHECK unlocker next week and will post the results...

If your X01HT bought after 2nd dec 2006 the only way is to purchase imei-check tools.
did any one found any solution instead the JTAG to cid unlock SPL 2.03 on hermes????
JTAG method is for if you can't flash your hermes... If you want to unlock your CID, use SuperCID. (Use Google, to find the SuperCID download..)

I have no idea what CID lock is, but after Googling my understanding is it's another name for HSPL for another phone manufacturer.
You will need HSPL to install custom ROMs and suchlike, yes.
