Guys,
How is there possible that all the i-mate and qtek black phones have disappeared from Expansys? Just few days ago there were thousands of them at a cheap price. Any clue?
Thanks

hello guys,
simple question,
I can buy an MDA 2, which is cheaper than the XDA 2.
But i wanted to know if there are any differences, besides the design?
Is it locked to t-mobile? Could it be unlocked?
thanks for your help!
the hardware is the same of cause as they are both Himalaya which are oem'd from htc
about software difference then donno
about sim locks then http://wiki.xda-developers.com/wiki/xda2unlock
thanks for your prompt reply.
So what do you suggest?
go for MDA, or XDA? and pay a 100 USD more...
donno non of them are for sale around here
since o2 and tmobile are not present on the mobile market
in this country
i got the qtek flavor myself which dont come with a phone subscription it's of cause not locked but since it's without a subscription it cost more
I would suggest that you buy the MDA ( if you can life with the design ) and upgrade it to what ever you like. ROMs are many around here...
I peronally like the customizition from O2, expecially the UserInterface and I don't what to miss it. The blue is also by far not so annoying than pink is ;-)
I have the MDA2
Just drive over the border (to Germany) buy the sim free mda2 from t-mobile which will set you back arround €750, and they have lots in stock.
Or even BETTER wait till after CIBIT and prices will come down quite a bit
i can have an MDA 2 for 560 €. i should get it?
well i suppose it depend on if it's simfree or if you want to use the mobil company because they often bill you a penelty if you just unlock the phone and use another sim and such
Hello,
Does anyone knows where to buy a PDA2k housing ? Not sure but I guess it can also be from other brand (like Qtek 9090). Anyone ? It needs to deliver overseas since I'm in Brazil.
Many thanks !

Hi,
Has anyone come across a replacement back for a vario/ mini s etc? My girlfriend has drop her vario a few too many times, and both the "teeth" on the back have snapped, so now the back does not stay in the housing.
I'd rather not buy an entire new housing, seeing as the rest is in resaleable condition.
Thanks! Ben

In the UK, I have bought loads of these covers direct from HTC (and sold them on ebay (one of them went for £26 +P&P!!!)). They are £5 each including P&P. Your cheque should be made payable to HTC Europe Co. Ltd.

Hi everybody I'm new on this forum and please sorry for first if my english isn't very good but i'm Italian..however..it's just passed a month since I've bought a Vodafone Vpa III (htc tytn) on eBay at a surprising price.
Unluckly today I was running to catch a taxi and my phone just fall down from my pocket on the asphalt of the sidewalk.. the phone is totally scratched!! Anyone here knows where to buy a brand new cover/housing? If this was possible, I would like to buy the original Vodafone Vpa III or the original Htc Tytn manifacturer housing. I've searched on eBay but I found only a cover that seems to fit at the phone but the keys at the bottom of the screen are different. It was the 8125 or 8252 i can't remember the right name. Does it fits correctly? and where I can find the original Vpa III housing or the original Htc Tytn housing?
Not sure if this is much help...but I bought this. I love it!
