How can i upgrade my Atom V's WM6 to W6.1?
Yeah, Any ppl know how to upgrade this device ?

I know hot to upgrade this. I had tried using WM 6.1 20771 and Wm 6.5.

but couldn't understand. Coz it's in Thai language.

I too have a MWG ATOM V and would like to upgrade to WM 6.1. Or If someone can let me know how to do it, maybe take an existing WM 6.1 and reverse Engineer.

Well unfortunately the ROM developers don't have an Atom V phone to cook on. Maybe in due time PDAVIET may get a hand on it .
Thats appreciated, i think it is just more a case of people registering their votes for the Atom V- the more that do - the more likely a ROM may be served up.

Is there any WM6.1 for MWg Atom V?
WM 6.1 Rom Upgrade.
Looks like both of us is looking for the same thing.According to Mwg the will released the new rom (but no idea when..perhaps in the near future).
What are the complication/s that you face using this device as I'm might be getting it.

I don't know why are they taking so long when some of the make/devices are already equip with it.
The current WM 6 in mwg is pathetic...but the funny thing is that Zinc II is pre-equiped with WM 6.1.Like i've mentioned in my earlier post..i don't expect them to have it out so soon.

Nope, thats because there is no official WM6.1 for Hermes. You'll just have to suffer with what we got, I'd suggest Tai_SW's 21139 ROM (found in WM06 section)as it is fairly lean and is plenty fast...

Check out the WM06 section of the forum. Just remember tthat there is no official WM6.5 for the Hermes. Its a WM6.1 & WM6.5 hybrid. You might need to ask the chefs if they have the 3G dialpad working. Before bugging them though, read the threads - sometimes you find the answers in there.

You can't Flash your imate jasjam unless u will flash 6.5 from your SD card. try the hermes section in the wiki..

Hey guys, i have recently did a experiment with my O2 xda atom phone and that is i downloaded a O2 Atom executive rom and upgraded to my O2 xda atom,and it is successfully upgraded and working fine with low battery and ultra fast performence....Dont forget to Thank [email protected]

I accidentally did the same thing, upgraded my WM6.1 with TJ's WM6.5 for Atom EXEC... (oops)
Suprisingly, It runs very fast, Iam very excited with manila 2D and the sound is significantly louder than WM 6.5 by khoa (very happy with this). I havent try the Bluetooth yet.
However, it seems that the display has some problem, looks like in interlaced mode (see some horizontal line/texture) and flickering.
anyone did the same thing?

That's interesting! Can you tell me which one of TJ's ROMs you tried or which of them are OK to flash on my Atom? Now I am using Helloworld's WM6.1 R2 ROM for Atom.

Atom Exec WM6.5 to Atom - did not work
I installed TJ's WM6.5 for Atom Exec on my Atom. The installation was completed, but when it was time to reset, my Atom is not turning ON anymore. I thought it worked on your Atom? Do you have any solution for this?

yupz.... it will Works.
even the official wm5 for atom exec is work for atom.
and can be flashed back to original ATOM too.
use only os+extended rom upgrade, don't mess with the other stuff.
the most important is... don't play with the bootloader (EBOOT.nb0)

yeah me too, i think the display is broken, but its not, WM6.1 TJ for atom exec not support for atom black, try to upgrade with WM6.1 by kumara
