Hi everyone.
I'm having a problem with my S200, it doesn't gets switch off in first attempt, instead the device gets restart and the next time when I hold the power key it switches off properly.
Can anyone tell me how can i prevent this from appening or how can i solve this?

What ROM are you using? Have you tried any other ROMs?
I'm using HTC Prophet ShadoW 2.0 New Vista Edition WM 6.1 and that's the only one i've tried after upgrading.
I think there have been some issues reported about that. Try looking at the original thread for the ROM, as it will have been discussed there...

There was a related problem like mine in the ROM thread but no one ever replied...

Only tried this one after the upgrade from WM 5.
I think it may be an issue with that ROM. I'd suggest trying a more recent ROM as that will probably have fewer bugs.

May be next time he will release great rom
I think that a rom from a HTC Touch will allmost fit a Prophet withouth many changes.. They look like each other and have the same specs! Someone in here has succesfully flashed a Touch rom to a wizard! Then why shouldn't it fit a Prophet ?
when talking about cooking what kind of changes should be made to fit?

yes...they have the same hardware,except the different touch screen(if it is different..... ).......
Some more r candidate-- like Herald and artemis
If i got spare time i will port herald- it attracts me much

Arh yes.. Isn't it a Multitouch screen that the HTC touch has? But if thats the only difference i don't think we have to change anything..

I think iam going to try to flash a Touch rom to my prophet.. Dosn't matter if i brick it, need a new device anyway.. But if someone now anything that i'll have to do before then please write it here.. And ofcourse where to get a Touch rom ?

You don't sound that optimistic..
i installed the cab's from the topic at the wizard subforum, its working but there is a bug in it that slows down everything :s
waiting to get that solved, but mainwhile im running at 260 mhz

it's not realy a bug.... to make the home plug run fast you need to have it instaled from the extrom or cooked into the rom... then it runs much faster.

Could it be because its an animation where it on a prophet is not an animation ? Maybe we could try to remove the animation and se what happens..

no its nice animation of htc logo and playing too on prophet, but after that device restart itself and process repeats further.
some adv. cooker may incorporate this animation in their next build,
i dont know how, but it seems its possible
the new pdaviet has a skin like BLACK SHADOW

same here need some luck on this one , possibly because randomaccess.exe is used both by pocket cm and this program so its a name overlap ,means dead lock

Personaly i think that PocketCM starts too slow, at this moment i use iContact 04 because is much more faster ;-)

I also need this. The good thing in random access from the rest of similar softwares is that it can be opened when choosing contacts for composing a new sms.

No Chance guys it doesn't work
just a cab for random access i modified to work on prophet ,i have tried yet .(work on all previous wm6(shadoW surely) ),depends on how sticky should it be.its gonna be a permanent part of all future roms .

Sorry it doesn't work
well you should have downloaded "random access corrected" only because i made a double upload in single post also install it after a fresh soft reset and then do not close contacts with xbutton type applications and later on if you sync with your computer ,i did have trouble once it stopped to work for which i had to hard reset to shadoW rom and reinstall random access but its working without problem on shadoW ,i am making a post again here just incase that file was incorrect

Really no good for us as it is designed for the Diamond..so no landscape modes!

Its an OEM package meant to be built in to ROMs, you can't just install it into your current ROM.

Sorry, this might be an absolutely dumb question and at the risk of sounding like a noob (which I am). I have NRGZ28's EnergyRom 2.0 BETA which already had this manila as of whenever it was cooked. what happens if I replace the manila files in the windows directory (from his rom) with these?
He's sending out a new update tonight sometime. so If this thing goes down the crapper its only a matter of time before I flash my phone again?

It has landscape mode. It's the one xboxmod is working on and the same but newer version from the Energy ROM. Unfortunately it does need to be cooked in.

I cooked it into a rom and it worked well. I had a couple of issues that have already resolved regarding the contacts page in manilla but probably an error on my part in being an inexperienced cook.

First I want to thank you for this ROM. Your last one and this are the only ones without SODs which it's great by itself. I also have the same problem as ebautista. I have 3G working but I cannot enabe/disable it from comm manager. I did change the band.
another thing, I can't install SPB MS. do you have any idea why?

Hi Deepankerjha, just installed your rom. Looks very good, nice and black. Will be testing it out the next couple of days.
But... the version of the included keyboard is definitely version 1.5 so its NOT ezinput 2.1.

The touchscreen responded sometimes not very quick, i have to wait some seconds. But my biggest problem is, that the hardware-keypad is not to use. The letters are defered. E.g., if i tip an E i get an Q an so on. Is there any hardware-key-pad-cab solution out jet?

thx a lot for ur feedback.first of all this rom is meant for NIKE 100,16 Keys only.i don't have a nike 20 keys,so can't tell u how my rom works on 20 keys.dont install any software for the keyboard,unless u r sure abt the outcome

CAB's FOR HTC GENE p3400i
i failed to give you all wm 6.5 rom with stock like look as my device is stolen i cannot ckeck the rom i made,thus i fail to correct the bug appearing all the time i cook the rom. but i can give you all the links to cab 's i use.i am giving the links so till i cook the rom enjoythese cabs i have collected it from diffrent websites and developers.so i take no credit!! !

rom is cooked again with the drivers changed now you can download and tell me about it
i am sorry for the previous roms i have made which not booted!!
when rishab and darren told me i found two files missing in the xip package boot.hv and boot.rgu which was creating the problem
but i tried to fix that all and hoping your rewsponse to this
