I am curious, is there a way to modify the rom as we would like, just like the Kitchen provided by Gullum, for his IX and X...., this question came to me because of the new way of upgrading......, b4 we could work with the OS.nb file modify it and after make it "nk" and after update.
So is there a way to work with the nk file, for instance for removing couple application.

I tried the Shadow. It's great. But strangely, I don't find it's fast. Even slower than Mysterious, especially after install Touch Keyboard/Keypad. It's sluggish even. I love Touch Keypad so much.
The rest all working fine.
One more thing on Shadow. Whenever I reset (be it hard or soft), when it prompt for SIM card pin number, if I enter it immediately, the GPRS will not work (NO SERVICE) and time display on the HTC Home will go freeze. But, if I wait for 10 second or so then enter, everything will work perfectly. Didn't try to disable the pin though. Or I guess it's got something to do with the password thing (password remembered even after soft reset) that you fixed? This is not so crucial though. The speed however is very irritating.
question:
1. If already patch to shadow clean version how should i patch the shadow
touch? Is it just run the Rom_update_.... ?
2. Both shadow clean and touch are BS, if tends to go back to WM5 2.20
how? 2.20 is not BS.
3. Can we just made the WM5 2.20 become BS?

I am currently using your Green edition, and am very pleased with it. I would like to flash the black edition, as it has the apps I usually install.
Does the black edition activate the send/hangup button lights when pressed? The green edition disabled it. I guess not a showstopper either way...

I didn't realize that this was based on a different ROM core. So, when I reflash from the My Green Edition (Full) to this one, I'll gain:
1. Esmertec Jbed
2. Voice Speed Dial
3. WkTask
4. HTC Homeplug, Audiomanager, CameraAlbum, Actionscreen
5. Touch skins (Dialer, Commanager, Keypad, Keyboard skin, Calculator skin, WMP skin)
But I'll be giving up:
1. Office Mobile
2. UC capability
3. WPA2 support
4. Mode SMS
5. Adobe reader LE & Flash lite
6. Games: Dopewars, Path, Mahjongg, Bombsquad, Freecell
7. Some extra utilities, like Total Commander.
Are these the main differences?
This ROM is based on WM6. I can't say what apps or features it will have because only varanusvincent knows, but I think it will have fewer driver issues (WM6 currently has fewer because it's older so problems have been ironed out).
Waiting eagerly for it.

what is the main reason for using WM6 based ROM instead of WM6.1? is wm6.1 very unstable? i had used wm6 roms aproximately for 1 year, and now wm6.1 for 2 months, i don't see very much differences, but i like wm6.1 a bit more..

So, if you like TouchFlo interface. This ROM maybe suitable for you. But Free Memory program is not much as Diamond Edition 2.
So. Just decide, which one is suitable for you.

Opüal Dialer takes more Space actually.Maybe someday on next Release. But now, I just made this one.
SMS /MMS works. And everythings seems to be okay.

if your WIFI is WPA2. It wont works. This ROM doesnt support WPA2 Feature.

From Power settings,you can go to backlight settings as well.

i downloaded ur rom and it's great, thank u
but i'v number of problems(dont know if bugs):
the google maps deosn't do the search and there isn't any results
the youtube doesnt work
i tried to activate them and this blocks the the pda and i have to do the restart

After tens of ROMs I have flashed on my dopod 818pro I returned to the most stable and fast rom (in my opinion) the amazing Blue Manila http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=449283. Now I feel this ROM is going to be replaced with the sprint one. Whatever, Thank you varanusvincent, thanks a lot.
same with me.. Blue manila is my top rom, but lets try sprint one ...

The only thing that i have noticed is, that the network wizard is not working. In the dropdown menus i dont have any options to choose from (Country and Operator is missing.
But beside this little problem i really like yout rom

I had mentioned long time ago.....
everyrom has its merits, make your decision as your needs is what you should do here,
taste one by one by yourself young son.
But I can tell you that, it will not slower the the speedking, as I can see that there are efforts from dear VaranusVincent in this rom. I had test this build a weeke ago... just feel too headache that...
I cannot drag and multi-select files in convenience...

20090226 added keyboard selection pops up in 1 second tweak (should work for all roms)
IMPORTANT
If you face the input keyboard very slow (10 seconds) pops up, do the following tweak to make it pops up in 1 second,....
