Fix IR problems! - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 ROM Development

Fix IR Problems in WM6.1 Cloudyfa based ROM's
The problems is a registry trick. The IRSIR driver is not properly initialised.
Attached is a cab installer, made by me, that fix this isue.
The corect configuration of IRSIR driver is:

If I used IR More, this would be more of a benefit, but thanks for this! I'll probably incorporate this into a ROM if I cook one based on Cloudyfas latest ROMs...

People using IR plz give feedback about this (I don't have a Prophet now to test). Btw, thanks for your finding

About the keyboard: It's fixed in the latest Cloudyfa release... Maybe some of the DLLs could be transfered?

it works fine.
I am not install the cab actually.
This registry is the same one as your settings on Shadow 1.0 ( I have checked it). On your new ROM some registry are changed.
I fixed it the registry with that one. On default beam is activated, recieving file is also checked.
and recook the ROM.
Result, it is work perfectly.
send file and recieving file through IR work now.

As I said on the rom thread I'm facing this problem. My previous rom was Korand 3.1 and never had this issue. I have a friend that also have this problem.

you have to check recieve all incoming beams and beam setting in comm manager should be activated.
on my edited ROM with this settings, beam are activated on default.
I will upload it later.

Hi, I've installed Cloudyfa's latest rom and this IRDA fix and I also have the option to receive all beams checked and the IRDA enabled in Com Manager but I'm unable to send or receive files (or contacts) using the IRDA. I've got radio 2.19.21. I also have a G3.

For both of you. I have changed the driver setting and enable beam on Default. I have test both of ROM and works perfectly on sending and revieving file via IR Port.
* Prophet S4V.19701.01 (Clean Edition) --> Ir Fixed
* Prophet S4V.19701.01 (Full Edition) --> Ir Fixed
If with this one, you still face problem. It is maybe your device failure. If you said Korand's ROM work better. Use Korand's ROM.

Well, if it worked with korand and with previous roms it's obvious that it's not from the device. Unless this rom briked irda specific module...
Well, yesterday I tried one more time to send and receive files via irda with a SE k800i and it worked!!
I have a hint. Before that I made a few softresets and I think I disabled wktask from the startup. I also was facing some problems with bluetooth, several times disconnecting with my car headset.
Since then I still haven't got any bluetooth disconnects and irda worked that time. I think it all because of wktask.
