Geez! some people are really lazy these days!
mate regarding to your query theres really a lot of good roms out there for our dear atom.. but it will all depends on the user preference. if i were you ill try all the roms that i think is the best and then from there ill choose which rom version will i use for my atom.
yes it's true because when i upgrade with atom_diamond SB i can't use my SIM card utility like for m-banking

last night spend about 2 hours flashing rom to WM 6.1 OS 5.2.19199 Build 19199.1.0.2 which was posted by "the one" on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=365754. it's a great rom as compare to previous when i use my dopod. thien0510, you wait every day, i check every half an hour ler. It shows we all waiing for "the one" - masterpiece. Pls don't let us wait too long...... Horray "the one"

I have an 'o2 xda atom' base model,and nw i wanted to upgrade it to wm6 or wm6.1,also i came to know that there is no wm6 upgrade 4 my atom at o2's official website, can anyone tell me tat can it be made possible to hav wm6 on my phone! If yes then will it work perfectly as the processor is inferior(in terms of mega heartz MHz) than 'o2 atom Life' Also,plz tellme tat which rom is best for me and which eats less power! Plz remember tat my model is just 'o2 atom' the very 1st atom model...thankx in advance frnds

kindly read the wiki so you would know how to upgrade to WM6.
There is no official WM6 available from o2 so you know. Be thankful for xda-dev for bringing new life to our old machines.
But! Which rom should i prefer as there are so many roms available, also i came to know that there are too much risks involved during upgrading process or it may lead my phone 'dead' ....plz suggest me the appropriate rom for my machine....sir,am new to this forum am getting confused reading 'wiki for atom' i wud be thanking u if u give me the exact link of tat wiki,also the link of the rom which i should use....and plz letme knw about the risks. My is 'o2 atom' the very 1st model. These forums r really so interesting sir i really love my atom and i dont want my atom to go 'dead'....sir,plz help me. Bro, device turning DEAD wouldn't happen if you just read the instructions given by the ROM chef. Follow exactly and no problems would arise. About the Wiki, just hover over to the brown bar on top of this page. There is a link XDA-Wiki. Use that.
About the many ROM's available for ATOM. Be proud that ATOM has been given a new life by various cookers. Choosing a ROM would depend on wht you want. If you need a fast, clean ROM then choose one looking at the description. On the contrary you can go for heavily loaded ROM which look great but consume a lot of resources. Final call is yours.

there are many ROM's available in this link. If you want faster access and a clean ROM use a larger pagepool ROM.

read the thread that contains WM6 or WM6.1 you will know feedbacks of others who have tried them. choosing a ROM is a personal reference. My current ROM may be perfect for me but not for others. get it mate?
Friend's i have a query in my mind, actually i hav downloaded homers and one of the roms having larger pagepool, plz let me know that will these roms be having thesame look as orignal wm6 or wud be modified in terms of appearence. Will it be looking as same as the orignal wm6 rom.,sir in ur openion which rom wud be more appropriate for me among homers and larger pagepool one,plz tellme as i want a rom having no bugs and the most important aspect is that it should have rame appearence and user interface of the orignal wm6. Or if any other rom is gud plz suggest me. My device is 'o2 atom' very 1st base model

Working fine and battery life is same as other WM 6.1 ROMs floating around.
I specially thank Abusalza and Chartruex for bringing us the flavor of new ROMs. Also thanks goes to each and every member of XDA for contributing positively.
My connection is very slow I am uploading but it will take time so be patient.
The download is in three parts, my internet connection problem.

Place all three parts in a folder select all and use extract here with 7zip program. It will ope one file then again use that file to open with 7zip and will get the complete folder with six files in it. Place all those six files in windows/temp folder of ur C: drive then start device update utility and select all. Then flash the ROM.
Once again I will clarify that it is for testing purpose and I will not be responsible for any damage.
Also let me know how is the ROM running and what are the bugs. Thanks and enjoy.

Well the new build is the one issued by Microsoft, like with Xperia 19949 and with Diamond 19588 came. These were dumped and made available for people like us by the great modes of XDA to develop ROMs for own pdas. Now u have to select a ROM yourself and not just the newer build will be the criteria, rather your usage and software u run in ur pda will let u know which ROM is the best suited for u. Hope that answers.
Still stuck with the uploading prob.

I have build 19588 but first test 19949 then if u like my work I will be encouraged and upload other ROMs for Atom Exec also.

Hey Jaime sorry, I am new to this uploading stuff . But have removed the password now, I never wanted one in any case. When u open it , it will ask for password but leave it blank and press mirrors and u will get the file.

Utel UT-T15S China Bluetooth A2DP Problem
When upgraded my Atom Exec. I found problem in Bluetooth after upgraded my
bluetooth can remote control WM Player but can not listen sound from Headset
by A2DP. I downgraded back to ATOM_EXEC_20080417A6WWE_WM6.1_19209_AKU1.0.2_8MBPP .
My Utel UT-T15S is working normally. what happening in A2DP function of your firmware or my bluetooth is not compatible.
