Waiting for korand' new rom!
There's a lot of new rom for Prophet, like 19700,19900,19839,but korand didn't give us new rom a long time.
Where is Korand?
The korand 3.1 is so great. No need a new one
I also hope that korad would start to make another roms, cause all wm6.1 roms from cloudyfa have a bluetooth bug...
I pm korand a while ago asking if intended to release another rom and he reply to me saying that build 19199 is the best in speed and stability. So I assume that for a while he's not going to build new roms

Maybe we need waiting for a long time The memory manage of 19199 is not the best,from my own view.but korand wwe 3.1 was still the best.

I think Cloudyfa' ROM has no Bluetooth or IrDA bugs anymore, like what you said.
And his ROM is the only ROM support WPA2. You are the first person, asking for this support, right?
And now. His newest ROM has everythings that what you want. And what it should be the next?
I think you should thanks to Cloudyfa for it. And not blaming his ROM anymore.. In most of Official ROM, you can't find this WPA 2 Feature. Right?

Well, unfortunately all WM6.1 roms from cloudyfa have a BT bug with my BMW integrated BT. And even iR not allways works well ( I don't care with ir).
Korand 3.1 (never tried another from him) has no BT problems as well all WM6.0 builds from cloudyfa. I also tried with an HTC P3400, an SE k800i and k750i and no problems at all. So I must conclude that it's originated from WM6.1 cloudyfa roms.
I don't know if korand uses a different method or different drivers for the bluetooth than cloudyfa. The drivers are the same from WM5.0 oficial builds right?
Oh well, going back to korand 3.1

Cloudyfa ROM's have only problem with A2DP bluetooth protocol. I fix this bug in my ROM, and is most stable rom I ever seen. Thanks to Cloudyfa!

I test all bt protocols with my gps module and my computer and I dont have any problem. Maybe, you can explain more, what is your problem, to find a solution.
I think that Korand's Rom is quite good and doesn't need an update.
The only thing that might be interesting is localization...
The new rom is coming...
This week I think will be a new rom from me based on build 19212 from Kaiser. I already made the russian version and it's very stable and fast. It includes the new XIP tweak wich increase the speed of reading/writing the Storage.

Another suggestion, please put Arcsoft MMS 5.x, latest Esmertec Java, Voice Dial Command, HTC Network Wizard and UC enabled.
I think these are the best ingridients for a fabulose home meal cooked...

CLEAN ROM = KORAND.
If you look for a ROM with that app , download the cabs ... or go for Cloudyfa's ROM , GULLUM's, Etc.
I Think that the Korand ROMs are for people that dont like fully, Slowly ROMs.
Like Korand say it in a POST:"clean and contain no additional soft and themes. Speed and stability. Native OEM part and drivers."
Korand ROM is really good for Clean and fast ROM.

When things are integrated on the construction of rom, there's no slowdowns.
But at least MMS and Java should be in all roms!! They are from 3rd parties but they are almost like first party softs.

Yep, but MMS i dont know if are avalaible in a .cab and if all prophet owners use MMS , but Esmeretec Java can be added later ...
I like Korand's ROM and i wish he keep her ROMs the must Cleanest possible ...
After flashing a CLEAN ROM , every Prophet Owner can customize her prophet as one like ... that is the best of Clean ROMs.

Good news, your ROMs are the best, but Please fix the WiFi problem. I always have to go to settings-connections-network cards, find needed access point and click "connect" ...
So looking forward to new ROM!

Hi,
Made an app so that users can switch keyboard types if they install a fuze rom on a TP or a TP rom on a fuze.
I know you can use UC on most roms and install a cab to do it, but I like knowing I'm not relying on my memory card for the basic features of my phone working if I'm out and about and have to hard reset, so I'm hoping this (or something similar) could get cooked into roms.
The final result I'm hoping for is that TP or fuze owners who are concerned about such things are happy, which means more ROM choices for all, and less cooks having to make 2 roms to please all

Ye, it's just a registry change, but I don't know 100% if it works on all roms, so I need feedback.
I changed the reg key on the new energy 2.0 - didnt work, i belive the program wont work as well(on this specific rom)

Did you turn the phone off and on afterwards? (it needs to be reset after it's set)

Currently I have a keyboard issue with my TP, it is a Traditional Chinese unit. But since I flashed a WWE ROM the keyboard doesn't work correctly. I'm still look around for a solution.

ROMeOS 1.9.02 on Fuze + ProFuze = Working.
Flashed ROMeOS, tested keyboard not working correctly, used ProFuze, reset, done!
So, we know it works, now we need to convince cooks it's a good idea and will mean more people use their roms and gives users more choice, please suggest this to cooks where relevant.

I've just updated the 0.2 release (minor cosmetic things so don't warrant a new number as it's fine without the fixes, things such as text in about box was editable), any chance you could update the package in your post / kitchen?

There's no such thing as a 'best' rom.. but the ones i'd recommend are any of the PDAViet ones. You should try their latest WM6.1 ROM and just fiddle around with it a bit until its tweaked to perfection like everyone else has done. As for the phone freezing during a call... install a PDAViet ROM then see if that still occurs.. if so you might wanna update your Radio version
I agree. At the moment I'm on the "clean" 20931 ROM, but I'm gonna get rid of that one and go back to one of the earlier. I think all the integrated 20XXX ROMs from PDAViet are pretty good (the ones with Manila 2D), but they have their problems. Much of those problems are memory related, like Manila stopping when launching Opera and then restarting, pushing Opera back in the background. And on some PocketIE has a problem where it suddenly exits on a webpage with a few too many pictures. That's probably related to not having enough memory as well. But if you can live with that, I'd recommend one of those PDAViet ROM's. If not you might just as well stick with the (oh, so boring) last official MWG ROM. Me, I wouldn't put an original ROM on my son's PDA...which is why his Exec has the TJs_21014_Atom_Exec_M2D_Black_ROM. I'm sad to say that it's actually more stable than my Atom Life! Quite embarassing, really...

My atom life seems don't like to work with Opera under M2D.....

I already tried all WM6.1 Roms for Atom Life as many as i can find in this forum...
And now i'm happy using Manilla 2D 19971 T2M
i will try to update my Radio version...
Opera runs very slow, but it never crash or stopping Manilla 2D, or something like that..
May be it was because i use Atom Life White Limited Edition..
But I prefer using Opera Mini...very fast n stable...opening friendster, facebook, livescore, live betting, e-mail..and i hv no problem with that...

I installed almost all ROMS on my O2 Atom Life. But every ROM had one or two major problems though rest of the builtin softwares worked well.
Just 10 Minutes before writing this post I uninstalled 6.5 Beta 7 and re-installed PDAVIET ROM WM6.1 20753 by TranMinhMan which was working well before I installed 6.5. 6.5 was working well and all the features were good but its powerhogger. I tried almost all tweaking with it using ACT or custom registry settings, but nothing worked. Finally I decided to install PDAVIET WM6.1 20753 by TranMinhMan.

This is a new test build of WM 6.5. the honeycomb in this version is a bit diferent.
I made this ROM only for test as these builds of wm6.5 are all beta. So use it at your own risk. In my device it worked very well.
Remember to do a soft reset after flash.
PS. It's for old gene. I don't plan to release it for new gene but ROM is unprotected so feel free to port it to new gene or modify its contents.

Hey Ramerson, i am also working on this build for new gene, i too took XIP and SYS from Ankit's source. I have a great ROM at hand, with only two problems:
1. On connecting data cable, when passthru internet connection is established, the phone hangs. Touchscreen is responsive but software is not. If backlight becomes dim and i touch the screen it lits up, but nothing works untill a soft reset.
2. NO 3rd party keyboard is working. I am using IOLite Ezinput keyboards which are working fabulously on my previous rom.I tried installing other keyboards too, nothing worked. On selecting any keyboard from SIP menu, the default keyboard comes up.
Apart from these, th ROM is working fabulously well on my new gene.

build 21198 has this issue wait for 212xx

But the new widgets and even sms work on new IE so i had to put it back. But after that, these problems came into picture. I cannot undestand what is happening. Lets see if there is anything i could do, otherwise will have to wait.
BTW, the only thing i liked about the WM 6.5 is the new look of scrollbars, titlebars etc and the Titanium TOday plugin. Its really very good and alllows information display along with letting the user enjoy his/her wallpaper too.
Start menu of this build is good but it lacks the recent applications area which was very useful.
If i can get titanium on WM 6.1, i will be more than happy

This build has some improvements from old ones, but it still have some issues. I made it only for test because i didn't build any wm6.5 yet. Have you checked if bluetooth works? Fuguru reported it didn't work. I checked other roms with the same build and found that they also have similar problems.
I'll wait for the next build to update this ROM (I hope this errors don't appear again).
at least this build is fast.
For now i agree with Ankit, it is not worth wasting time with this build.

Is a type of fully loaded. I just do not include some apps such as the HTC audio booster, audio mananger, etc..

Yes the build has good improvements, the fluidness of Titanium as well as scrolling of new Start Menu is great. Bluetooth, i didn't checked, i had to go somewhere so i flashed back my ProUsers ROM and did a SKTools restore just now. Anyways, non working keyboard is enough reason for me to stay away from this as i cannot live without the IOLite keyboards, i do a lot of sms and email typing.

Thats what i have been saying since the development started on this. The beta builds have debug mode code with them, so they are not worth wasting the time, other than learning purpose. I'll make a true ROM only when RTM arrives. But ya, Ankit has done some good work on these Betas.
@all: For the users who are using Ramerson's kitchen for WM 6.5 ROM building, i would like to point out one thing. It uses GReloc in between the build process so the kitchen wont work like it use to.
You will first need to divide packages into smaller sub groups (in sub folder i mean) and then run a full greloc on it. If it still gives error "Integer Overflow", then dont close the Greloc window, press the Doit button once again. This time it will show you the path of the module which is causing error. Go to that module folder and delete the .tmp file there. This will be locked so you will need to use something like unlocker (http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/) to unlock the file. AFter that, again press Do It button and it will do the relocating without problems. In my case the problematic file was htmlnote.dll in SYS\Redist folder.
Once i did that, old Greloc worked fine. WMreloc also works but its tricky to use it with Ramerson's kitchen and it is not bug free either. It sometimes overlaps module addresses which result in non bootable ROMs.

After having used all WM6.5 and WM6.5.3 builds + sense 2.1 and 2.5, I was always disappointed by the low performance for everyday use !!!!
So now, I'm announcing the arrival of my first french ROM based on WM6.1 and Sense 2.1 which combination promises a lot of speed and free ram/storage.

This one was on WM 6.1 (stock), was very stable and performant too!
As your post's title says, you are only building a French version or you plan to build a WWE as well?
Would recommend, if you could benchmark against the latest Topaz ESSential WM 6.1 based ROM (you can find that on beegee's mirror). I personally didn't witnessed a ROM better than that on WM 6.1 front!

Excuse me, I got nothing against French people or the language, but if I'm Slovak, living somewhere far away from the 'civilized world' and the only major wide-spread language I barely understand is English, how is this French ROM gonna help me?
I don't mean to be an egoist, the reason I'm writing this is I think there's actually a LOT of people like me. So It'd be a good idea to make an English one too

the only reason why i made this FRENCH ROM is that the first packages I found on Internet were in french.
But I assure you that if my rom is good enough, I'll do my best to build it again for every (possible) language !
until then, let's hope the actual rom acts well !!!!

actually,Zayan 6.1 For Topaz is the best Rom i've seen.
Startup time is 1/2 of normal ROM.
No Rubbish App is also my favorite.
I hope you can show your words,do a fastest ROM.

googy is full of surprises. he announced a 6.1/2.1 rom (which, btw, i was hoping to test) and instead he came up with a 6.5.3/2.5 version in another topic. are you still planning to finalize this project, googy? wm2.1 with manila 2.1 still sound tempting for me (maybe WWE...?)

I'm still here and the project is still alive ! The problem is that I'm struggling with dependencies problems which I can't solve. when I solve one two others appear. I managed to combine M2.1 with WM6.5 and WM6.5.3 successfully, but with WM6.1 .... I still have hope.
And believe me, as soon as I get a fully working Rom you'll be the first ones to use it
and also if I feel the project is falling down, I'll say it to you to avoid making you wait for nothing !

I saw on internet chinese ROM WM 6.1 for our Acer S200 . It inspired me to cook WM 6.1 ROM in english. So it is here .
ROM with WM 6.1 run nice - is fast and stable. It is clean ROM based on the newest WM 6.1 build - 21057.
Free RAM after boot WM is 132MB .
Free storage is similar to WM 6.5 - 313MB.

Please do not reupload my ROM. If the link doesn't work, I will reupload it.

Where is not saved user name and password? In Connections are a lot of programs.
Happy as a pig in **** with it so far Kubino, have had a couple of freezes in WMP which is a bit unusual, but the main functionality is very stable and fast, so glad someone saved me the job of trying to do this myself, don't much like 6.5 menu/start/back/multiselect changes.

Kubino, cant integrate NET CF 3.5 to rom it kitchen. I've deleted NET CF 2.0 files and place files of NET CF 3.5 in SYS\Common\NETCF. Now OSBuilder gives error about missing files of NETCF 2.0
How can it be solved?

Yes, I tested today. I didn't test before because I'm not using GPRS/EDGE or 3G/HSDPA. I'm trying fix it. I tried cook ROM based on previous build - 21056 but it has the same problem. Probably the problem is with radio, which acer do for WM 6.5.

Try this NETCF. It is 3.5 from WM 6.5.
