Hi, there,
Don't know what can be done to increase the inbox message font size (not the menu bar or pop-up menu bar).
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Don't think it can be adjusted that way. ;-(
Em, perhaps, some mis-comm. ;-( i understand that we can tweak the system & pop-up menu font size. Anyone knows how to increase the size of inbox sms messages words? (Hehee... tough to read the message when driving)
Cheers. ;-)
WM6 is a relief. Now the Ameo is worth its money. But I am irritated by the hudge font size I get when I read my email. At different places you ge a very big fontsize. How can I change this?

Go on Start-setting-system-screen. You should then see an option on the third tab for text size with a slider bar. Adjust this according to taste.
Any idea how to change the default font? (via registry) Been googling for ages and not found the answer.

I've just updated the ROM on my Vodafone HD2 TO 3.14.161.3 and have been trying to find the "screen" menu to set alignment and clear type but it isn't there any more.
Has it moved somewhere else? Surely it must be somewhere? Any other way at least of setting Clear Type?
Anyone help?

Use a registry editor and edit this:
Code:
[COLOR=Black]HKLM\ControlPanel\Pen\Hide [/COLOR][COLOR=Black]- change the Dword value from 1 to[/COLOR][COLOR=Black] 0[/COLOR]
That's great, thanks.

No problem.
Glad I could help.
HTC have informed me they removed it as the software in the new ROM was so much better, you wouldn't need to Calibrate the screen or turn on cleartype!
Can anyone help me to change the font size on the Droid DNA? I have it set to Small but it is for sure NOT small at all!!!
Its driving me crazy. I know it seems silly with such a great phone, but the font is just TOOO big!!
If I use the All in One Kit what would I have to do to change the font size...
I am not a programmer by any means, but I know my way around a computer and can follow directions.
Thanks so much

Check under: Settings>Display & Gestures>Font Size to see what you have it set to.
Also, in messages you can actually pinch to make the text smaller and the opposite to make it bigger.
As far as I know, that's the only options we have so far (someone correct me if I'm wrong!).
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! All of the settings were set to small, but I tried the Pinch on the Messages screen and it WORKED like a Charm!! I am so much happier now.
I know it seems corny but I felt like i was a blind person the font was so large.

Not a problem, glad it worked!
You can change the dpi on the Note 8 without root and it's awesome to give you extra space throughout the OS.
Just posting for people who didn't know.
1. Go to*About Phone > Software Info*and tap the Build number 7ish times to unlock the developer options menu.
2. Back out to settings, enter the Developer options menu now at the bottom of the list.
3. Scroll down until you find the*Minimum width*setting in the Drawing section.
4. Change it to whatever you prefer! Higher number = everything gets smaller, Lower number = everything gets bigger.
Enjoy your extra space!
Go to what?

After a certain point the Samsung keyboard will do this. If you use something like Gboard instead it will resize properly. So it's either go back to a size supported by the Samsung keyboard or utilise a third party keyboard.

What's the highest safe value?
By the way, would be better to increase 10 by 10 that number? The default is 411 here. So I should experiment 421, 431, 441...? Or there's absolutely no difference?
I've set mine to 500. It takes some getting used to at first, but it's better than simply adjusting the font smaller.
456 the keyboard shrinks for me, I set mine to 455.
Root is pretty much a thing of the past now if ppl update is dead.

440 best for me s9+ smallest screen resolution
Edit: went to 436, keyboard characters were too small on Samsung keyboard which i love.
Edit² went to 438 and switched to gboard keyboard (bigger letters)
I am using 511 and nav bar at half size auto hiding everywhere, looks amazing! I use AI type keyboard which resizes fine
