If you're flashing to the stock Update rom then you do not use the TitanRelocker. The TitanRelocker is only used when you want to flash back to the ORIGINAL stock rom and radio. You must have the 2.40 spl. Flash the 2.40 spl and see if it helps.
There are some threads concerning Authentication issues on alltel somewhere on here.
As an alltel customer, I had the issue when I upgraded to dcd 3.01
I had to call 888-295-3569 and tell them that I was having authentcation problems. Just as others had said, in less than 2 minutes my phone was working.
Regular Alltel CS is completely in the dark about this issue, and from what I can gather it is an account issue/not a device issue. Usually it is corrected by the *228 option 3, but that doesn't seem to fix our titans . . .

how do i flash my titan back to the original bootloader and the last OEM firmware from HTC?
i'm currently running 3.27 Radio with dcd's 2.2.3 rom and i'm not able to receive incoming call's and my data connectivity is hit or miss. I'm guessing it's the 3.27 Radio Rom causing the issues, but me are expecting our first child on the 13th and i cannot have a phone that doesn't receive incoming calls.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Had a lot of problems going backwards but finally got it working..
You need two things. I don't have links, but search here for them..
You need the Stock Rom for your phone (searched for mine with google, alltel ppc-6800 rom)
and Titan Relocker to get it locked.
Run the locker (phone must be on and activesync working)
Follow ALL on screen messages.
Before you close the unlocker when its finished and your phone has the 3 color bars on it, run the factory rom updater on your phone and it will (hopefully) load back. At that point you want to close activesync. Right click on Activesync click on Connection Settings, uncheck Allow USB Connections and OK. Remember this procedure as you need to recheck one you are finished flashing your phone..
That should be all you need to do...
Wish I was doing it or wrote it down as I did it so I could give you a Exact procedure, but this is what I did in the end..
Hope this helps.

Make sure you get your provisioning data first. Good chance you will lose that going backward.
I went back from Dcd's 2.2.2 (Thank you dcd for your investment in this thing). I had the 3.27 radio for over 2 weeks and I finally got fed up with the net hanging and dropping all the time. The gps was fun, but I don't really need it right now.
I went back to dcd's 1.6.1 and the 1.4 radio. I think I ran the relocker first, then I got the old HardSPL, then I loaded the rom and the radio. It took me an hour to figure it all out though because I wasn't thinking clearly (it was late).
I can't wait for a stable upgrade to the 3.27 radio. I'll reflash it for sure.
Is this it?

Thanks for the info, is this the OEM rom your refering too? I have sprint.

Thanks,

yes, that's it. I just did it on mine ( alltel) and it's flashing now... I got too many issues with the 2.2.1, first the active sync wouldn't work at all, then I couldn't load the radio 3.27, and then I was roaming all the time after updating the PRL with *228 and setting up my MIN and stuff...
ok, i got a weird request. I need to bring my phone in to have the lcd/touchscreen fixed and I have the 3.16 gps rom installed for my sprint mogul. I've read that once you install this one it changes your bootloader and this makes it so i can't go back to 2.17 without getting error 328 invalid command. I believe from what i've read i can run this relocker and then run the 2.17 rom from sprint. I don't want to bring my phone in to be worked on with this leaked rom and because my lcd is damaged I can't see the screen on my phone when the prompts come up during the relocker I don't know where and what to click. Is there any way to run the relocker without needing to confirm anything on the phone or does anyone have screen shots of where i'll need to click during the process. Or is there another way to get the old bootloader installed from my computer? Thanks in advance for your help.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=9927 this tells you how to get back to original rom. if you trying to get from custom rom back to legit carrier rom. need to download/run titanUnlock. make sure you have active connection with sync and make sure you have the official ROM you want to install. after you run the unlock, close it out and your phone should reset to bootload screen now run the rom youre trying to install.
I'd like to upgrade my VZW XV6800 to DCD's Titan 3.1.2 with radio 3.39.10, but have some questions. I've read the Wiki and FAQ several times through, but am having a hard time understanding the correct order of upgrading the radio and ROM.
I've successfully upgraded bootloader to 2.40 using Hard-SPL-MFG.exe
Do I next upgrade the radio? Or do I load DCD's 3.1.2 and then upgrade the radio? (After writing that out I think I would upgrade the radio...looking for confirmation.)
Radio or you will be screwed. I speak from experience. Get a SD card and use that method.
good advice on both accounts.
did the radio first, but was then unable to get past the bootloader and unable to connect w/ ActiveSync. followed the SD directions and now i'm running everything i wanted!
I Flashed ROM Then Radio
Tonight I just finished successfully flashing my phone for the first time. I updated the boot loader using titan_SPL_2.40-olipro.exe, then I attempted to update the radio but actually did not due to a mistake on my part, then I successfully updated the ROM to dcd_titan_3.1.2.exe. Upon a restart, I realized the radio was not updated based upon the Verizon splash screen so I re-entered the bootloader and eventually flashed the radio. Once I finished flashing the radio I restarted and was presented with WM 6.1 and a usable phone.
Easy Way
The easiest way i found was after the new bootloader to go and use the Alltel Stock ROM with the 3.39 radio. This will upgrade your radio without you having to call Verizon. Then load DCD's ROM. Again you should not have to call Verizon or mess with SD cards or anything.

The Alltel rom has Radio 3.37.20, not 3.39.10.

Also not everyone has to call Verizon. I have flashed once to stock, DCD 3.0.4 and DCD 3.1.20 and have yet to call or reenter anything.
I flashed my phone under the instruction of another site so I'm not exactly sure how to troubleshoot with the wiki here.
I flashed my phone from 3.35 to the new stock 3.56 rom with no problems. I then unlocked my phone and proceeded to flash the kaos f*** sprint take 3 rom. Everything went fine but the phone resets every time i get to the calibrating screen after bootup.
I've found out that the problem is that I unlocked with the 1.20 olipro bootloader instead of the 2.40. I followed some advice and tried to flash to a stock rom, but whenever the progress bar reaches 11% the phones resets back to the bootloader screen and the RUU says error and wants me to do recovery. I've tried with both 3.35 and 3.56 stock roms multiple times but the same thing happens.
I also tried flashing the stock roms via SD but it says:
TITAIMG.nbh - FAIL
BOOTLOADER - OK
SPLASH1 - OK
SPLASH2 - OK
EXTROM - OK
OS -
Update Terminate
UPDATE FAIL
the progress bar on the bottom looks to be at around 11% as well
Can anyone help please?
According to the stock rom wiki (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=TitanStockHome), you need to relock the phone first if going back to a stock rom
I would suggest going back to the stock rom first and then following the instructions to flash to a cooked rom, using the correct bootloader

No re lock is needed you have to flash a stock pre GPS rom.....then unlock with 2.4 or 2.47.....then flash a custom rom of your choice....
Ok... I'm all good to go now! FINALLY!
flashed the stock sprint 2.17 rom
unlocked using olipro 2.40 bootloader
flashed the stock sprint 3.56 rom
flashed to custom rom

Thank you for your help. I have successfully flashed the phone back to the non-GPS Verizon stock ROM, then I flashed the bootloader to 2.4 without any problem. But after flashing the phone to dcd's 3.2.5 ROM, I've got stuck at the Verizon splash screen, although I have tried to hard-reset after the flashing process already. Can somebody please suggest a resolution for this to work. I have flashed many GSM phones before but CDMA might be a little trickier.
Also, this VX6800 is a brand-new phone which has not yet been initial programmed with the carrier, would it be the cause? My apology for being such a noob. Thank you all for the inputs.

Pull the battery for about 30 seconds then hard reset....
If that does not work flash a stock gps rom and then flash DCD after that...either one should do the trick.....(sorry I should have added this before wasn't thinking)

Truly appreciate your quick response, I'm following your instruction right now and will keep you posted. Thanks again.
I currently have a Verizon Wireless fully flashed to cricket XV6800. I decided to know about hacking the Mogul so what I try to do was Look up WMDC 6.1 and apply it to my phone. When i did this the screen stopped at 11%. I took out the battery and tried to turn it on and i get a Red, Green, and Blue color on the start up screen. The words that are on the phone are TITA100 SPL-1.20.Olipro and on the bottom it says USB when connected and Serial when not connected. I looked every where to and figure it out how to get my phone back to the same way. I downloaded so many programs like Titan Unlocker, Titan exitbl, but all these programs do is say my phone is not connected when it is connected. I hear the Sound when the connection for the USB is connected and disconnected. What can i do Will i ever get my phone back to the same state that it once was. I was wondering also that since my phone was flashed that the software will be erased. Is there any way that I can get my Cricket Service. By the way before i did all the hacking what i did was back everything up on the memory card. Is there a way I can restore that through the phone even though i cant access the menu?
I'm going crazy--Thank you for your time to read and for those who can give me some word of advice or some way that my problem can be solved.
Thank you
if u are using xv6800.. i believe u have to install bootloader 2.40 or 2.47.. maybe that might be the problem when installing wm6.1
First, your phone is not bricked.. bricked means broken.. unfixable.. a brick!
You also need to let us know what you software you want to run... DCD 3.2.6?? WMDC 6.1 is Windows Mobile Device Center.. it's not a rom?? So I dont know what you tried to flash.
You need to read the instructions!! Sounds like You upgraded your rom (or tried to) with a non compatible bootloader.. if you dont want to bust your $200 - $500 phone perminently.. you should read the directions twice.. (I read them 4 times, then asked questions before the first time I flashed mine)
When you plug in the device and hear the usb sound.. check device manager.. make sure you see a usb device.. Your OS shoul have installed drivers... Then try the info below.

1. Download OliPro 2.40 and run it. Ignore the part that asks you to verify the Active Synch connection. Its not needed for anything but a connection confirmation.
2. After running OliPro 2.40 you should be stuck at the three color bootloader screen, Like you are now. If not hold Camera and Power and use stylus to put phone in bootloader. Make Sure it says OLIPRO 2.40 for the version on the bootloader. If not then re-run oliupro and make sure to follow the directions. Especially noting that it asks you to disconnect then reconnect the device.

After that you can Flash a Radio, then a rom (I recommend the SD method)
And the versions in my signature.
You can get the SPL 2.40 here:
http://www.lifesnotsogood.com/dcd1182/titan/spl/
You should also read this WIKI
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=TitanProblems
If you cant flash SPL 2.40 you will need to flash back to a ROM compatible with SPL 1.20
Read here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=392133
I'd try to grab one of thoise older Roms and flash using SD card method.
Then from within Windows Mobile (on your device) Upgrade bootloader to 2.47 (Available from the same link as 2.40 above)
Then flash the radio and rom version I have in my signature.
And dont forget to install carrier cab.
I can't seem to connect my xv6800 to the computer so I can run that program.
I plug it in and the sound comes up and I run the program but it says that it can't copy to device.

Then you need to get a Rom and radio compatible with SPL 1.20.. You'll need a SD card thats Equal to or less than 2GB (NON SDHC)
Check the compatibility here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=392133
Read the instructions for flashing this here:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=TITAN_GettingStarted
Check the Flashing with a SD card section.
Process is the same for the radio and the rom.
I cant seem to find an available rom that you need though.. I'll post back when i do.
Unless someone else has a trick for you...
You can also try a another machine that may recognize your phone.
What did you actually try to flash your phone with, and how did you do it.. this is important to help you.
Download DCD 1.6.10 and flash it to your device with the SD card method (Instructions and links in my previous Post) I couldnt find the rom, but I downloaded the kitchen and cooked a rom that should work for you.
Download it from my webserver here:
http://x51.nx-1.com/TITAN/Roms/
Remember you need a proper SD card for this.. if you don't have one, you'll need to buy one.
After flashing this rom.. Assuming your radio is compatible... You should boot into the OS (forget making calls or getting data connection) Just download SPL 2.47 and execute it on your device.. once the SPL is upgraded, Flash the newest Radio, flash the newest rom, run the carrier cab, install aplications..
Let me know if you run into trouble.

do you have one of the correct bootloaders? because just flashing to a custom rom and adding a new radio doesn't give you the bootloader that you need so you have to have that too...you can check it by holding down the power button, the camera button and inserting your stylus into the soft reset hole at the bottom of the phone and to get back out of it just do a soft reset but it needs to be be either 2.40 or 2.47 not 1.20 or anything else

I also explained that once you boot into windows with that rom, you need to upgrade your bootloader to 2.47 (with instructions) and then your radio, and then rom.
The path was simple..
Flash dcd 1.6.10 (compatible with SPL 1.20) so the phone will boot
Upgrade SPL (bootloader to 2.47)
Flash new radio (3.47.50)
Flash new Rom (3.2.6)
Run carrier cab.
If you are still asking about where to get the (SPL) bootloader.. I guess I cant help you....
Hello guys, I have a little bit of a problem, and I am hoping that you guys can help me out. About 10 months ago I upgraded from my stock ROM to dcd's 2.3.2. rom and 3.27.00 radio. Every thing went fine, loaded up 2.40 olipro and the installation went perfect. Now last month I saw that dcd came out with 3.2.6 and wanted to upgrade my rom and radio, but this is were i'm running into problems. I was able to flash the 3.2.6. rom, but I am unable to flash the radio. I have searched up and down these forums and checked out the wiki's and havn't been able to find a solution. So now all i'm left with is a phone that can't make a phone call but is still able to send sms messages. If anyone has any helpful tips or even a solution to my problem it would be much appricated.
I thought the 3.27 radio works with 3.2.6. What is happening when you try to flash the radio? and what method are you using to flash it (SD card or pc)? Also when you bootup the phone does it say 3.27 radio still? I believe all the newer DCD roms need a carrier cab have you installed the cab? I'm pretty sure the phone won't be able to make calls without the cab installed. 1 more Q what service do you have?

I thought the 3.27 radio works with 3.2.6. What is happening when you try to flash the radio? and what method are you using to flash it (SD card or pc)? Also when you bootup the phone does it say 3.27 radio still? I believe all the newer DCD roms need a carrier cab have you installed the cab? I'm pretty sure the phone won't be able to make calls without the cab installed. 1 more Q what service do you have?

When I flash the radio it goes to 8% flashes a red light and then resets. I have also tried both methods of flashing but none works. When I bootup the phone it does still say 3.27 as the radio. I have also tried to install a carrier cab but have had no luck.
Try updating to Hard SPL 2.47
The 3.27 Radio is NOT compatible with ANY DCD version 3.X and higher..... Have you read the Wiki? Can you flash the radio using the SD card method? All of your questions have answers in the Wiki.....
You should flash back to 2.3.2. Go into the bootloader(tri-color screen) and then flash 2.3.2 to the phone..... reboot it.... it should load up ok.... If this works for you to this point, you have several options to upgrade the radio ..... Read the Wiki....
